Aplend Tatry Holiday offers you beautiful cottages, stylish houses and apartments at the foot of the High Tatras, 1.9 miles north of Poprad and Poprad airport. There is a volleyball and a football field on site.

The Aplend resort is situated at the foot of the smallest and most beautiful mountains of the High Tatras in the village of Veľký Slavkov, below the popular Slavkovský Peak.
The complex area includes an outdoor playground with children climbing frames and slides, outdoor seating and barbecue areas. A nearby football field can be used for a small fee. Wellness facilities offered on-site include an outdoor swimming pool, an outdoor hot tub, a Finnish sauna, a relax area with a waterfall and a sunny terrace.
Enjoy the rustic atmosphere in the unique sheep-farm restaurant Salaš Slavkov offering traditional Slovak and international cuisine. It also features a fireplace and a summer terrace. Occasionally dulcimer music is played live in the evenings. The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Experience this great landscape while skiing, hiking and biking around the charming nearby towns of Stary Smokovec, Hrebienok, Tatranská Lomnica or the enchanting Štrbské Pleso Lake. A trip by cable car to the Lomnický Peak offers superb views over the entire area.
The Aquapark in Poprad is only 2.5 miles away and the Lomnický Golf Club can be reached within a few minutes by car from the Aplend Tatry Holiday.
About 650 feet away there is a bus stop, from where you can easily get to the High Tatras and to Poprad. About 2,950 feet away you find the railway station for trains to Poprad, Starý Smokovec and Štrbské Pleso Lake.

Review 1：The studio is too loud. I could hear everything that was happening in other studios. First night there was a big problem with three drunk young people living beneath me that were extremly loud. There is no washmachine. The shower isnt working the way it should. The toilet cistern is broken and it takes ages for it to fill up. Wi fi is very scatchy.

Review 3：Major point is the way of booking a room. On the web site ( e.g.Booking.com) there were pictures of only few representative apartments. The rest (they have a lot of apartments) is a kind of mystery. Thus, booking an apartment you cannot be sure which one you get and how it looks like. It happened to us. We we booked apartment shown on the pictures but we got different one, because apartment we choosed was occupied by another guests. It is a policy of booking I do not like. Minor point: shower handle was broken, cleaning lady woke up us on 10 am despite the fact that we had late hours of checking out

Apartaments they are parts of holiday complex (cottages, studios, camping), It's satisfactorily clean (bathroom worse) and well equiped. It's a great solution for those who love active rest or simply for a few days rest in mountains. Reasonable prices. If you haven't car, train station is very close. Parking private. In the neighborhood: regional restaurant - Salas. The staff is nice and very helpful.

Review 9：The walls are paper-thin, so every time someone entered the building it sounded like a concert hall. Plus we could not go to sleep as our neighbours' conversation could be heard in our bedroom.

Review 13：There is no internet connection! So if some body looks for hotel with internet connection this is definitely not a right place! We are looked for hotel by two important categories for us Wi-Fi (in the first place) and kitchen. No one of them no was justified. The shower room in the poor condition that request renovation. In the bottom line I would not recommend this hotel to others.

Review 15：Our apartment was in front of main road that goes true this little city. Cars were pretty loud, but no biggie if you had couple beers. The WiFi was very bad and crashed all the time. Only one router signal, in the parking lot, that worked properly.

Review 24：They offer a basic internet connection for free with a slow connection speed. If you want a faster connection you must pay a moderate daily charge. This is more an observation than a criticism as such. .

Review 25：The studio appartment had all the basic stuff required for a home away from home. Fridge, simple cooker etc. The staff were very friendly and very helpful and sorted out the extension of our stay so that we didn't have to move apartment which was greatly appreciated. Aplend Tatry Holiday apartments is very well organised and run with all the bases covered as they say.
