Hotel Risingsun Miyakojima sells fast on our site. Opened in July 2014, Risingsun Miyakojima is a modern hotel located a 10-minue drive from Miyako Airport. In addition to Western and Japanese dishes, the hotel restaurant prepares Okinawan dishes for breakfast. Free WiFi access is available in all areas.

Review 1：Perhaps the buffet breakfast could have had more options, but then again, it was rather cheap. There were no stairs, only lifts. It's a little far from the beaches, but cars bikes and taxis are very cheap.
Review 2：Staff were wonderful. Very kind, friendly, and helpful. The rooms, for the price, were spacious. Absolutely clean too. It felt new. The bathroom was modern and had a wonderful shower.
Review 3：The room was spacious and it comes with an open air balcony. Every thing in the room was clean and new. The staff was hospitable and extremely politely, bowing and acknowledging the guests all the time.
Review 4：It would be much better if the refrigerator was a little bigger and with deep freezer. The room phone was only for use within the hotel. This made phoning outside of the hotel very difficult because there was no public phone in the lobby or near by, just outside the hotel across the busy main road without traffic lights. It was very very difficult.
Review 5：The receptionists and all other staff including room maids were very kind and polite to the guests made us very comfortable. This new hotel was very clean, free wifi, power points and USB points were ready to use for those gadgets. The balcony was really nice to have where we can step in with glass of wine in the evening.
Review 6：It's a really new hotel, and it's REALLY CLEAN! I think the staff are doing a great job! The hotel is also located right across the street from several eateries and a supermarket! You can even find a 100-yen store (Daiso) as well!

Review 8：It's really new, it's really clean, the staff (both reception and cleaning) are professional AND welcoming. The place is also QUIET! Perfect place to stay in beautiful Miyako Island! There's an Aeon supermarket / shopping area / restaurant area across from the hotel!

Review 10：Lovely and clean hotel with well-sized rooms. The staff was always helpful and answered all of our questions. The location is only five minutes from two of the smaller beaches, and ten to fifteen from the two most popular (Sunayama and Maehama). I say 'popular' but really nothing about our experience on Miyakojima was touristy or crowded. It's a beautiful, quiet island and the hotel is situated in a very convenient spot, with several restaurants and shops in walking distance, including several local joints with Japanese food and a McDonalds. Suitable for families or a group of friends!
