Reviews for Alpenhotel Valluga
Review 1:Water in the rooms wasn't replenished daily.
Review 2:The staff were fantastically helpful and always welcoming. The communal areas were cosy and comfortable to relax in in the evenings. The bus service from the hotel to Lech is amazing (we couldn't ski all the way as the Madloch run was shut due to a lack of snow) - we never had to wait more than 5 minutes either in Lech or Zurs.
Review 3:Bad Control of Equipment in the room and hotel. Lamps who not function and sleves who not was fixed to the wall.
Review 4:Good an confortable room. Short way to the liftsystem. Nice personal.
Review 5:Lovely friendly staff. Food excellent. Small hotel with a really relaxing atmosphere.
Review 6:the pillows were a bit too soft for us
Review 7:the dinners, very good quality and the staff were very friendly and attentive.
Review 8:Excellent cuisine, spacious room
Review 9:Too expensive given location and quality of the hotel. Big, but simple rooms. Location is along passinway to Lech. Zuers itself is a "dead" village, only in-hotel entertainment. Would need to be abt. 20-30% cheaper.
Review 10:Staff is excellent and so is the food.
Review 11:We were put in somebody's private apartment on the top of the hotel. It lacked the normal facilities of a hotel room, had sheets forcurtains, the beds were incredibly uncomfortable and the owner had herbelongings (toiletries & food) all over the place. I also got foodpoisoning when I was there, although not definitely from the hotel.
Review 12:Friendly staff, good location
Review 13:The same price was charged for one person as for two in half board (halbpension). There should have been some reduction since only one person was eating.
Review 14:Zurs is a bit sleeply compared to Lech so if you want more action, Lechis the place. However, as I said there is a shuttle that in the day isfree and at night is 4 euros. The staff at times seemed a bit out of it.First the reception guy put us in the wrong room and later that nightthe manager opened the door with his master key to let in other people. The first room smelt vaguely of cigarette smoke and was a bit shabby sowe were pleased the next day when we found out that we were to move toanother room which turned out was much nicer and in a better location inthe hotel. Also there was a mix up with a corkage fee. We had a bottleof wine that was a gift from someone in Europe and we didn't want toput it in our suitcase to go back to the states so we asked the waitressif we could open it with dinner. She said she would ask her boss andcame back and said there was a 12 Euro corkage fee. That was fine withus; we knew there would probably be a charge. We said yes and she openedthe wine. About 5 minutes later she came back and said that her bosssaid it was 25 Euro. And that is what they charged us. The price was abit high but the part that upset us is that they said one thing and thenafter they had already opened the bottle and we had no choice theydoubled the corkage fee. But that is Europe. They have a different takeon "customer service".
Review 15:The hotel is basically at the bus stop for the free shuttle that goesbetween Lech and Zurs. We had full board and the dinners were excellent. It was a comfortable place to stay.
Review 16:Proximity to ski lifts and slopes. Peaceful location as Zurs is not a party resort. Expensive although mid range in comparison to other hotels in Lech/Zurs. Excellent food. My daughter loved the heated floor in the bathroom!
Review 17:Absolutely loved it - amazing service, great location.
Review 18:Very nice and friendly staff. Good atmosphere and nice hotel
Review 19:totally overpriced for nothing
Review 20:There is nothing to mention.
Review 21:Perfect location for winter sports.
