Reviews for Albergo Da Benedetta
Review 1:Shower was terrible!
Review 2:Very friendly welcome. The restaurant associated with the hotel was outstanding. Great location. Breakfast simple but good .. very Good coffee, fresh croissants
Review 3:A big thank you to Massimo who checked us in and recommended where to eat. I made a boo boo by booking the same night in 2 places but he sorted it out.
Review 4:Nobody was around for check-in (during check-in window). We waited 45 minutes for someone to arrive, and he was only there for 5 minutes. It felt like we were interrupting his Sunday. His restaurant was closed (150 m away), which complicated things for dinner.
Review 5:Location close to Via Francigena.
Review 6:Owner wasn't at the place... to late... no excuses given. Another car was parked on the parking spot in a way that the other guests could leave. Owner did not care about. Three lamps were not working. etc... breakfast counted and afraid to ask a coffee more.
Review 7:Nothing
Review 8:We were walking the via Francegina in the rain and as we arrived at the edge of town there was a direction board to Albergo Da Bebedetta, five minutes later we were there. As it was late November nobody was there, but we pressed the door bell and five minutes later the gentleman arrived, in the meantime we had passed through the gate and were waiting under cover for his arrival. We were quickly checked in and given a map of the town with restaurants and supermarkets marked, and then it was up to our warm room and very good shower.
Review 9:A quiet albergo with a delightful family running it. Greeted with a soft drink on a hot day and then a sample of the local olive oil. Breakfast - with great coffee - was supplemented with a fresh fig in season. Clean quiet rooms of vg standard. Close to town for restaurants.
Review 10:Nothing.
Review 11:Near centre of town, met with sample of the local olive oil and a juice on arrival. Very friendly and helpful.Rooms very clean and comfortable. Breakfast modest but good with proper coffee. Dinner at local pizzeria as albergo's restaurant was closed on the day.
Review 12:Nothing....all good.
Review 13:Lovely family own the Albergo. Very comfortable. Excellent for the Via Francigena pilgrim as it is very close to the trail and well marked. The family restaurant is close and really good food. Wifi was great. Nice breakfast. In every respect this was a winner. Definitely recommend it.
Review 14:The shower needed a good clean.
Review 15:The Albergo is on a quiet street near the town centre. Both Luca and Valentina were very friendly and helpful - they recommended an excellent restaurant (La Machina) and when they learnt there was to be a power cut at the Albergo the next morning, Luca actually came to the restaurant to find us and let us know. They also put a notice on our door. Our bedroom was at the front, and had a small terrace overlooking the entrance. The rooms were well equipped and nicely decorated. Breakfast was very good with cereals, yoghurts, a selection of fresh pastries, organic jams and fresh figs.
Review 16:Very dirty...moldy bathroom...unused mini fridge moldy inside.....property has not been maintained
