Review 1：We were not so impressed by the hotel dinner menu - we are quite difficult to please, so ate 6 out of 7 nights in the town.

Review 2：We liked the overall atmosphere of a family run hotel - we were upgraded and had a lovely apartment! The pool was always quiet so it felt as if we had it largely to ourselves. All very clean.We did like the breakfasts.

Review 5：Mosquitoes and lizards... No screen door, so you could not leave the doors open for fresh air. No wi-fi in the room, as advertised. Apparently, the apartment was too far from the router to receive the signal... Cleaning was not done everyday, but after 3 days from arrival. Way too expensive for what you get - but I suppose you have to pay for all the maintenance of the grounds, pool, restaurant etc.

Review 6：The property grounds, luxuriant vegetation, nice pool area, extremely quiet, free parking, staff at the main reception very helpful. Fully equipped kitchen, excellent to have for long stays. Very spacious 1 bedroom apartment with large patio.

Review 7：We were a family of four so were using the sofa bed in the lounge. The bed was fine but we had an extremely noisy fridge a few metres away that even my husband couldn't sleep through!! Not very helpful for a restful nights sleep!!!

Review 10：Spacious suite room with a tranquil garden area. Staff are helpful and friendly. Hotel is 15 mins walk to the beach and to the town (ideal to walk of dinner and wine! )

Review 12：The hotel had lovely garden areas that were well looked after. There was a good size pool and plenty of sun loungers. The staff were plesent. Good location as you were walking distance to the town and beach.

Review 15：Lantana restaurant/bar is quite pricey......It's also worth noting that there isn"t actually mountains to do in Pula. If you just want to sit by the pool or go to the beach, or wonder into town and watch the world go by with a cappuccino/brioche or dinner in the evening then this is the right place for you!

Review 16：The staff were excellent, and particularly helpful given we had two children under 2. the resort grounds were beautiful with large spaces for the children to run around in, an excellent playground for the kiddies and a spotless pool that were were not afraid to let our children swim in. The resort is walking distance to town and a local supermarket which is helpful if you are self catering. The apartment, although basic had facilities that we were comfortable with, and in addition to this we were provided with two highchairs and two proper (as opposed to travel) cots. the daily cleaning staff in particular were absolutely fabulous - lots of smiles and quick chats about the day. Lovely people!

Review 17：The website mis-sold all the activities. We expected to turn up and have an itinerary of activities to choose from - this unfortunately was not the case and we had to book everything separately and because it was summer lots of activities were already booked up

Review 28：This resort was just what we were looking for for a relaxed family holiday. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment and this was ideal for our family of 4. The sofa bed in the living room folds into 2 separate beds which was great for the kids The towels and bed linen were changed every 2 days which was great The pool and gardens are beautiful, peaceful and kept in immaculate condition. The whole family enjoyed the putting and table tennis The children loved the kids watersports held 3 times a week Just enough for the children to do without being too busy My husband and I enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the pool and gardens Only a short walk into Pula for great local restaurants, boutiques and evening family entertainment.

Review 41：The location is a little far from town and the beach for an older traveller. Since we were a young group of friends the 10-15min walk wasn't a problem.

Review 42：Beautiful resort which was very peaceful with excellent facilities. The staff were marvellous, in particular the evening receptionist who attended to our ever need. The apartment was spotless with excellent cooking facilities. The balcony was also very private and well furnished.

Review 49：It's not something I didn't like, but this is the perfect place for couples traveling with no children, of traveling with kids up to 8-9. There is not so much to do for elder kids, so I would not suggest it for families like mine. Also the food is nothing special in my opinion, just fair.

Review 50：I stayed in an apartment with my wife and kids of 13 and 11, while my mother and brother stayed in the hotel. The place is beautiful and perfectly maintained, and the garden in particular is amazing. It is very quiet (perfect for sleeping), and the staff is kind. I believe the price is fair considering quality and time of the year I have visited. Surroundings are just fantastic, but a car is a must, as the closest beaches are ok but not the best you can find even in a 20-30 km range.

Review 51：Breakfast was a big disappointment and inconvenience. Menu was very limited and was same for at least a couple of days (after a couple of days we simply stopped going there). Almost no fruits which is strange, when compared to the ample assortment available in local markets. Breakfast supposed to be till 10AM, but if you come at 9:30 there used to be no scrambled eggs and no croissants left - you'd have to ask and wait for it for at least 10 minutes... Did not feel like 4 stars - A/C in the master bedroom was not working at slowest speed, shower drain cap was broken. Overall very nice hotel, but those small glitches are just a shame as they're easy to fix and without them - the place would be great.

Review 52：Very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Location is OK. Gardens are beautiful and well maintained. We got a pool-side apartment on a ground floor with a big terrace - very very nice. Convenient parking - inside hotel territory and with sun shades.

Review 53：We stayed at this hotel for eight days in July and found it to be extremely comfortable, clean and peaceful. The owners Mr and Mrs Gallia were very welcoming and the staff were friendly and helpful. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the square and the same to walk to the beach but if you enjoy walking it is a pleasant stroll although there is a shuttle bus available. Our room was on the first floor and overlooked the swimming pool and gardens which were extremely beautiful. The pool was of a good size and the sun loungers were placed in both sunny and shady positions. The hotel provides free parking which is shaded from the sun. We are a middle aged couple travelling without children and throughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel. There were a number of families staying at this hotel with young children who were clearly having a wonderful time. This hotel is very friendly and safe and would be ideal for a solo traveller or single parent.

Review 58：The only thing we thought the hotel lacked was somewhere we could buy drinks, snacks and ice creams throughout the day for the children. We found the restaurant a bit too formal in the evening to take two young children (it was great at lunch time) but not too much of a problem as there are plenty of other restaurants in the town to choose from.

Review 60：We stayed at this hotel as part of our five week motoring tour of Italy. It is conveniently located for easy access to the central piazza in Pula and the wonderful sandy beaches and the ruins of Nora along the coast. Our room was well appointed complete with balcony overlooking the pool. Food Is good quality, well presented and provides a good choice. Meals can be taken in the restaurant overlooking the pool and on a warm sunny day this is delightful. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and are keen to give advice on where to visit, make a dinner reservation for you in town or even to get your car washed. The owners Mr and Mrs Gallia try to make themselves known to all their guests and take a keen interest in the every day running of the hotel. Their son does a superb job as head of food and beverage and their daughter who was visiting from England whilst we were there was absolutely delightful and interesting to talk to. Cars can be parked out of the sun and the hotel must be complemented for its responsible care for the environment having installed 50kw of solar energy generated electricity!!! Children can play safely in the extensive grounds which are superbly maintained complete with a small putting green. This is a hotel to be proud of. Peter M Richardson

Review 61：This resort was perfect for us. We had a self-catering apartment which overlooked the swimming pool, with our own terrace we could sit out on and eat. The hotel restaurant wasn't open any of the time we were there (other than for breakfast) but as we were self-catering this wasn't a problem. The hotel is just a short distance from the centre of Pula which has some nice restaurants (although for those who want more choice a car would be better to explore other areas). The beach was just a few minutes drive. The only downside was that it was quite early in the season (we went early April) and a lot of things were closed. Also at that time of year the swimming pool was very cold so not for the faint-hearted!! We would definitely like to go back later in the year.
