Review 1：The quality of food leaves much to be desired, especially taking into account the high price for food and drinks in the hotel restaurants. The problem is that there is no choice of other restaurants around the hotel, so you'll have to pay for a taxi to go to town for better food. The staff of the hotel is poorly trained, not all of them were very helpful. But the culmination of our bad experience was a wedding for 100 guests hosted by the hotel while we were living there. This group of people were having parties late at night for 3 days in a row with the biggest party at the terrace pool on Saturday night. We could't understand why we had to pay for the night in the hotel if we didn't have a chance to sleep at all. If you decide to go to the hotel, make sure there will be no weddings in it while you are there, unless it's your own wedding :).

Review 2：We chose this hotel as it has high raitings on different websites. And this was our big mistake. The good thing about the hotel is it's view, nice beach and a beautiful roof-top terrace with a pool. The room was ok, but quite small and not particularly cosy.

Review 3：I would have preferred more unique local dishes on the menus. Also the front desk what seemed like "head" was a bit off and gave odd advice, he doesn't seem to connect well with guests. However the general staff was great.

Review 4：Facilities were beautiful and the rooms were very comfortable, clean and relaxing. The bar staff at the pool bar was beyond friendly and made our stay feel very special.

Review 5：Location is a bit out of town, and would be great to have a transfer, I was thinking there was, but apparently not.

Review 6：This is amazing boutique hotel, the staff was very helpful and attentive! The design and amenities, simply first class. They gave their own beach where it's safe to swim, want more - they will bring you there on their comfy boat.

Review 7：The food can be better, it´s not bad, but it´s not good either, it´s far away from everything, if you want to go out to restaurants and other hotels and play golf, I would recommend yoy stay at another hotel, this hotel is very far....

It´s a good option for couple who wants to spend a nice long weekend relaxing, enjoying the beach and a quiet time alone....

Review 10：The hotel is wonderful! we loved the interior design, and of course the rooftop pool. The Front office staff was fantastic too. We'd go there again within a heartbeat.

Review 11：I liked it that much that I am going there again today! Where can you watch whales jump out of the water from your lounge chair on the pool deck? This was fantastic! The food in the sushi bar is great! The staff is very friendly and helpful!

Review 12：Having the bed in the middle of the room was terrible. If you wanted to relax and watch TV you could only watch it from your bed. Not good! The bed was very noisy sleeping in it. When ever you moved it made noise from the frame of the bed.

Review 13：Raphael the concierge was so helpful. The staff was lovely. Loved the Drunken Sailor down the street that Raphael recommended. Roof top pool was beautiful. Even though the bed was noisy, the sheets were very soft and the pillows were nice.

Review 21：Service. The staff in the restaurant are poor and sometimes rude. Very slow and incompetent as wait staff. Needs a lot of improvement if they want to play in the luxury resort game. Concierge however were helpful and the gym staff were friendly and kind. Wifi. Very slow in guest rooms, and sometimes took 15 minutes to connect. Kept timing out every few minutes. Charges to room. After spending a nice afternoon at the rooftop pool bar, and charging our food/drinks to our room number we retired to our room to unwind. We awoke to loud knocking at the door by the bar staff demanding we settle our bill because the hotel forgot to leave a line of credit open on our credit card. Very petty and made us feel second rate.

I pride myself in being able to find excellent lodging for the $$ paid. El Ganzo is the perfect boutique hotel. From the moment you walk in, there is a very "cool vibe" and obvious you are not in a normal hotel. The staff was friendly and would garner the highest rating possible. The shared space in lobby and sitting areas were warm and inviting. The rooms were an eclectic mix of comfort and style. Nice usage of the limited space but romantic in its simple layout. The drive to the hotel may have you question your decision as you wind through dirt roads and local shops but this is a great boutique hotel whose location even adds to the charm.

Review 27：Hotel El Ganzo is a peace of paradise by the ocean. Warm welcome from the staff and great service. Thumbs up to Marco Inda at the reception who is going out of his way to make sure that clients are confortable! great atmosphere, Long life to El Ganzo! Can't wait to go back! :))

Review 28：Restaurent service leaves much to be desired I.E. it took 45 minutesfrom the time we ordered breakfast until we we were served an omlett,there were two other tables in the restaurent occupied. At lunch on thepool deck it took many minutes to get bill - some story about it issues

Review 30：The room was quoted at 518.00 for two night but with additional feels room was 686.00 for to nights. Very deceptive! I was charge 15% gratuity but all staff acepted tips that I gave them! Car service to the airport was 180.00 round trip I took a private taxi just as nice for 80.00 round trip the next day half the price! No room service! Construction noise at all hours of the day! Rooster crowing all hours of the day! Beverage refrigerator was never refilled! The beach was not 5 star! Foid in the restaurant very expensive! Overall no value in my stay what so ever!
