Review 1：i had family members trying to visit me after 10pm because they work in the afternoon but they could not come in. If the place is well secured I don't see why that would be a problem

Review 2：I like the fact that it's a private parking lot. First time I could sleep well in Mexicali without having to worry about my car. Security walking around the Hotel 24/7 was an A+ for me

Review 8：Beds were very small I requested online a king and was given two full beds. My husband and I are quite tall and bed was really low to the ground. The was an Ice buket in the room and when we went to look for Ice Machine we wre told they had no ice. went around the coner to a restaurant and they sold us a bag of ice. Went to breakfast at 8:45 am and the food that was left was cold and something smelled like burnt toast.

Review 9：Grounds and pool area was pretty also Lobby was nice but hot fans were not on. I usually look at stars when booking rooms but was recommended by my sister in law since a large group came in April for a family reunion and we stayed down the street at the Lucerna.

Review 10：I didn't like the size of beds we received I booked my stay for 4 adults to have 2-queen size beds & we ended up w/2-full size beds & 2-towels. Then when I called & asked for 2 more towels they never arrived. The pool needs lighting & maintenance the paint is peeling. And on top off that the noise level is extremely loud.

Review 33：Rooms were dirty and floors look like they had not been cleaned in of while. Restroom toilet was wrapped with the tag of being ready and clean. But there was urine all over it. Counter tops were filthy. I always travel with disinfecting Wipes. Which I clean the room and counter tops toilet. Never took off my shoes. Beds were hard like a rock we covered them with our own sheets and pillows. Last but not least the 1st night we had no hot water. They stated they were fixing the problem. It was pass 1:30 am and still no hot water for a shower.

Review 36：Front desk area and staff was helpful and nice. The room was simple but spacious and clean. There was WiFi, but it was only useable in the courtyard (which was very pretty) and only worked half the time.

The blindsor the shades in the room are pretty see-through so if you're goingto be doing any changing of anything that involves removing clothing becareful people passing by can see in the room.

Review 40：We stayed there for a weekend and it was pretty nice weather while wewere there. We went for a friends wedding and while we were there thestaff took very good care of us. The last day upon checkout mygirlfriend accidentally locked her keys in her trunk while the court waslost the staff went out of their way to help us out and one of themembers was able to unlock the car door and get us in the car. Theactually advice test against getting Mexican tow company because thefees would be ridiculous since we had California license plates.

Review 41：Hotel guests dinking and loud in the gardens and pool area till 4 or 6 in the morning. Hotel staff not abel or willing to stop this disorder. Perceived and impression of arrogance by some of the recpetion staff.

Pool was dirty, rooms were dark and old, beds were ok, for the price that we pay I was expecting more, this is more like a motel. I'm not staying there ever again. The staff took a long time to give us the key when we checked in, when I requested an iron at the reception, she went to get it and came back eating something, no wonder she took a long time!!

Review 44：They were out of rooms even though I had reservations. They found a room WITHOUT A/C. The kids stayed with family. Pool was closed. Out of bottled water.

Review 45：Staff assistance was great!!! Loved how safe the pool was for my boys. My husband and I enjoyed our stay at colonial with our children. Breakfast was delicious and the catering was wonderfull our server we cant recall his name but he went the extra mile to make our stay as comfortable as could be thank you we had a great experience.

When weopen the drawers of the dresser found cigars, trash and old key roomthere. The breakfast was more than horrible. We reserved a single bedand gave us two beds. Everything was dirty. Everythinggggg... We used tostayed there for almost 4 years, no anymore.... Byebye colonial

Review 48：There was only one channel to watch on tv. No signs of the"included" continental breakfasts. We found out it wasupstairs when we over heard another guest asking when we were checkingout. Staff not so friendly when we asked for a blow dryer. Rooms verysmall no closet. When we checked in they charged us one price and whenwe checked out there was other fees that were not mentioned to us atcheck in . This place sucks.
