Set in the hills above Verbania, Agriturismo Monterosso is a working farm from 1850. It produces its own meat, fruit and vegetables, which you can sample in the restaurant and buy to take home.
The Monterosso Agriturismo offers beautiful views of Lake Maggiore, Monte Rosa and the Golfo Borromeo. It is 10 minutes' drive from Verbania and the lake shore.
The farm's grounds feature a number of buildings where the rooms and apartments are located. There is ping pong and table football out in the garden, as well as a small gym.
A sweet and savoury breakfast is available and drinks are served at the bar. The Ristoro Monterosso restaurant uses homegrown produce to create Italian dishes and specialities from Piedmont.

Review 1：The road leading to the Agriturismo Monterosso is very long, narrow and winding, driving it is not everybodys cup of tea. Upper room very warm in the summer, the windows cannot be opened.
Review 2：Marvellous view of the lake, very quiet location, staff very friendly and helpful. Beds were large and comfortable. Room was clean, the linen was fresh. Bringing a pet was no problem. Good breakfast.
Review 3：Very steep and narrow road to the house, 5 km of steep uphill, very bad mattress and tiny bathroom, I would expect more local food for the breakfast, considering the fact that it is a farm

Review 12：Some of the staff members only speak Italian. And when they are the only one working, it is hard to communicate with them. If you do not like steep mountain roads, you will have a hard time getting to the agriturismo! ;-)
