Review 1：Too expensive for the value (we pay like a 5 star hotel in Tokyo) compulsory extra bed (also if we don't need), poor breakfast with low quality food. Very rude staff also if they formally smile. They imposed us to wait half an hour for checking-in also if the room (that they showed us) was ready. Rude manners of the old woman at the desk.
Review 2：Location in the real center of the small town, room size with two double bed and a sofa. Good small onsen bath.
Review 3：It's right in front of Yubatake natural hot spring park, about 7 minutes walk to Sainokawara rotenburo(open-air hot spring bath). We had a very comfortable stay.

Review 5：The place is near to Yubatake, and there is a small common onsen bath in it, not crowded and clean, we enjoyed it. The room is very new and clean. And it's near to all public baths and restaurants, very convenient! We will choose to stay in Yubatake Souan again if we visit Kusatsu in future.

Review 9：Large bedroom with interesting architecture and great use of natural light even though there was no view from the large window. Located in front of Yubatake and city centre which is only 3 min walk from the bus station. Lovely foot bath.

Review 12：Location is perfect and right at the central area of the hot spring. Very easy for exploring around the key tourist spots, and lots of choices for food & dining. Very clean and comfortable room.
Review 13：for the money, i expect room to be cleaned, at least empty out trash. stayed 2 nights, room was not cleaned even after i was out for nearly 6 hrs. but front desk gave me clean sets of yakuza and towels on my return. the breakfast is so-so. for an onsen experience, one better book at another hotel or take a 10 min walk to Otaki-no-yu which is fabulous (Y800).
Review 14：simplicity and thoughtful decoration. very impressed. comfy room and bed. excellent WIFI, but no security. excellent location. the inn does not mention its onsen and it makes sense after visit. it is a lovely bathing room, max 3ppl. the water is excellent, hot. so a great soak.
Review 15：Everything was excellent. Our room was small but very well-appointed. The furnishings were of all excellent quality, including the ofuro. The location couldn't be more central; it was in front of the yubatake.
