Review 1：We booked online around 10.45pm...everything was confirmed...we arrived around 11.30pm...it had no vacancies on the sign and had to wake the owner to let us in and he had no idea of the booking...another couple arrived at the same time and they had done the same thing

Review 5：unimpressed by fact that I was asked for cash and not given receipt. Also, door lock ineffective. Place has an air of neglect and generally poor presence. would never have gone onto premises if aware of general state of place.

Review 8：Room was very small there was no kitchen sink so had to utilise the basin in the bathroom which you cannot get the kettle under the tap. A window was left open ion our room which we could not close as we were only staying for the night and leaving early next morning we did not report it.
Review 9：It's convenient for our situation - we were able to book ahead - it's next to cafe where we can get a decent meal late on a Sunday night when we're travelling through from Sydney to Melbourne after working in Sydney for the weekend - owner of the motel very friendly - great email communication after we booked - clean, basic accommodation - will use this motel again. Review 10：The air conditioning was noisy and falling to pieces front cover came off,next door noise was continuous, room very cold due to fact a/c had to be left of to be able to sleep.

Review 14：It was very cold in Goulburn and altho' the reverse cycle airconditioner worked efficiently it was extremely noisy. However once the room was heated up and the conditioner turned off it stayed warm all night.
Review 15：The fact that it was set well back off the road and felt secure. It is also an ideal place to stay if you are travelling with a trailer as the parking area is extremely large and easy to access. Altho' the premises was somewhat elderly it was clean including the bedding

Review 18：The motel has an unloved look to it, like the owners had a lack of interest in its street appeal. The paint work in the room was terribly shoddy. The cups and saucers didn't even match. The air conditioner was next to useless and the filter was so full of gunk we wondered what we were breathing into our lungs. yuck!

So i paid over the phone, they placed the milk in the fridge for me and even turned on the electric blanket so the bed was toasty warm when i arrived. Room was clean. It wasnt the Ritz, but met my needs for the night.
Review 28：The rat bait between the mattress and base, causing me to sleep on top of the bed, too scared to get in between the sheets, and yet I still feel very itchy and have little scabs on my back now, the rat bait laying all around the fridge for little kids to eat and die from and the smell of the room !!!! The no hot water at all in the shower, at 4:30am for my morning shower !!!!! And I mean freezing cold !!!! the "cleaning lady" behind the counter who was very rude in saying I couldn't have a refund as no other travellers have complained....the boss was not around .....so that voided out my complaint apparently.....I have photos if anyone is interested.....

Review 31：We've paid a lot more at other places for a lot less. It's basic and dated, but clean and everything is functional and serviceable. It was more spacious than we expected in the family room, including a table with 4 chairs, a microwave and a fridge.

Review 42：Rooms are rather small even for the price. Some of the rooms smell like smoke even though they say not to smoke in rooms. Smokers stand outside their doors with them open and the smoke goes into the room and everyone elses.

Review 44：Having driven 900 klm during the day, I wanted a good sleep before heading off next day for another long drive. The Governor Hill was conveniently accomodation which appropriately served the purpose. It's a no frills motel, but the bathroom was clean, the staff were helpful and the bed was comfortable. We arranged in advance a late check in which was no hassle. I'd recommend it is a very good low cost option for short stay/s in Goulburn.

Review 55：For $85.00 per night this motel is very good value. Cutlery, bed linen, curtains are all good quality. The carpet looks new and the bathroom appears to be recently retiled. Our bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean and the lady who served us the night we arrived and was cleaning rooms the following day was very sweet.
Review 56：Not much to say here, it is a very basic, no plug for the sink and this is not a major deal unless you wish to shave...as the bloke still wet shaves.

Review 58：Hubby and I stay here each time we go down the coast to cut our driving time in half. Its not modern luxury but very comfortable and clean. We travel down a couple of times a year and stay on the way down and the way back as we are in our seventies. Have never had a complaint.
