Reviews for San Agustin Monasterio de la Recoleta
Review 1:To land in a hotel 100m further with the same name, but made for tourist bus tours & to have to walk the distance with all our luggage, although staff did help us get there. Rather expensive.
Review 2:The old simple monastery & simple rooms, simple restaurant.
Review 3:Charming hotel, quiet location
Review 4:The staff at the front desk do not speak English so keep this in mind ifyou do not speak Spanish. Also, although fluent in Spanish, the staffare not too helpful when it comes to recommendations, generalinformation about the area, checking out with the correct bill...Basically, customer service is lacking.
Review 5:The ambiance of an old monastery is nice as are the gardens.
Review 6:The attitude of some of the staff was unwelcoming. On the first day the shower water was cold. It is most unfortunate that the hotel is sometimes downwind of the local refuse tip. The lounge area was very cold as was the restaurant making pleasurable dining impossible. The hotel was reasonably expensive and patrons deserve and expect warmth.
Review 7:The room was spacious and very clean. The garden was beautiful. When the problem re cold showers was known the manageress (?) tried very hard to make amends.
