Reviews for Java Hotel
Review 1:Water in the shower overflows and the shower door hardly closes. Playe breakfasy is lousy. Room is too dark. Toiletries are forgettable. Too noisy if you're in first floor.
Review 2:It's centrally located.
Review 3:we booked for a presidential suite, coz we are travelling as family, but we were charged for an additional bed. We paid for an additional bed but no additional towel, no additional sleepers, very bad service.
Review 4:the place is good
Review 5:The staff should be more hospitable/friendly, especially those in the restaurant. Also, food service is quite slow.
Review 6:The location is superb. I also like the facilities. The size of the room was worth the price, plus it is well-maintained.
Review 7:We cannot access the wifi. Also we were not called/informed by the front desk that it's almost time to check out. We were sleeping before noon and almost exceeded our check out time. Good thing I had my phone alarm set at 12noon. We made it out at 1pm.
Review 8:Facilities, food, comfortable and clean room, TV is a plus, courteous staff
Review 9:The location quite scary in front of the gasoline station
Review 10:Just good for a night stay not that bad...just their restaurant we were the only customer that time but it took an hour for to cook our food.. The room is clean Room is big..traditional room and beddings if your are looking for modern type of beds and beddings this is not the one for you. I think they need to upgrade beddings and towels.. Our is situated near the pool...cant rest in the day time if you need coz its quite noisy when kids are swimming....
Review 11:The sliding door to balcony kept coming off the track, very dangerous, the toilet backed up all over the bathroom floor the first night, the ham on the American breakfast was not good and the waitress would not leave me a carafe of coffee because the restaurant sells it by the cup.
Review 12:The facilities where a good value for the money, staff very courteous, dinner food very good
Review 13:Gas station in front makes it look like it is the primary business instead of a hospitality and visitors establishment. It takes away the good image for the hotel.
Review 14:Staffs are friendly, polite and very helpful. Room is remarkably good size and comfortable. Food and services are excellent at Eagle's nest, fantastic setup.
Review 15:Two things - we stayed in a suite and it was hard to get in and out of the tub/shower. You had to be ultra careful as it could be dangerous. They could also change the TV i the room quite old and on the dresser so there was no dresser space.
Review 16:This hotel was a pleasant surprise. Rooms were clean, good size. Staff was pleasant and very helpful. I would stay in this hotel again the next time I travel to Ilocos. Very good.
Review 17:Internet was slow but maybe that was due to the power outage. So was cell service
Review 18:The room was clean, spacious, had high ceiling, balcony. We came at the time when the typhoon hit and the back area was flooded so we felt like we were in some lakeside resort. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Strong water pressure. The whole Ilocos Norte had no electricity but the hotel did. Breakfast was ok with 3 choices, I just wished they would allow refill of brewed coffee, rather than restricting you to one cup.
Review 19:The hotel is run like a budget hostel; the breakfast is even worse than any other of the cheapest places I've stayed in my live; However, we paid nearly 3 times the price of a cheap one. The breakfast is basically water with a bit of porridge, or instant coffee... really disgusting. The facilities are beautiful, but you have to pay a lot to enjoy everything.
Review 20:The place itself is great... nice building and facilities.
Review 21:All receptionist in their front desk should talk to one another or better yet review their policies & procedures. Management should conduct periodic written and oral exams to all personnel in the front desk. This would ensure that they will be in unison n their responses to their guests.
Review 22:The Hotel was really clean. I like their beds & pillows. very comfortable.
Review 23:wi-fi in the room was not working. Pool was also a bit small.
Review 24:I like the rooms and the architecture of the hotel. The staff are friendly and the food was pretty good. They also have a bar, a pool, a wall for climbing, and a tennis court.
Review 25:The hotel is situated behind a 24 hr petrol station - which is odd. The Balinese style roof means that you can only see roof from the windows of the upper floors - which is also odd & makes the room dark.
Review 26:The room was perfectly adequate for an overnight stop.
Review 27:The first night we were assigned a room that should really have a major rehab. It was on the 3rd floor, it smelled, was in disarray, faucet was dripping, sink was clogged, it looked haunted. We asked to be moved .t .they did the next day. Their in.house tour fee was exorbitant.
Review 28:The Staff was accommodating.
Review 29:The pool was quite small and not heated.
Review 30:The staff was super helpful and very professional. The beds were a bit spartan, but quite clean. The convenience store right out front is cheap but well stocked. The hotel restaurant is also reasonably priced (but food is good) so you won't break the bank staying here. If you're planning to go around Ilocos Norte (you should), you can't go wrong with Java Hotel.
Review 31:No wifi in rooms. Access to thehotel was through a gas station.
Review 32:excellent friendly and accommodating staff, spacious and clean rooms and bathrooms, well kept grounds.
Review 33:we booked with balcony room but our room did not have. they said we had to book early but seemed vacant. I asked to rent hair dryer it cost 350p a day!
Review 34:convenience store is aside.
Review 35:No wifi access and hot water in our room and the tours were expensive
Review 36:Love the decor of this hotel, staff were friendly and breakfast was nice
Review 37:Expensive tour packages..
Review 38:The place is cozy, friendly staff and good food.. Ilocos longganisa is a must try..
Review 39:The rooms could do with a bit more cleaning.
Review 40:Staff were really nice and very professional.
Review 41:Wifi was very slow and only available outside your room!!

Review 50:No elevator. If they have more guests, their service is slower

Review 52:The staffs were very helpful with our requests. The restaurant was highly recommended to entertain our friends.
Review 53:We had to call for water to use for bathing & wifi cnt be accessed in the room

Review 55:There is a gas station in front of the hotel! Internet is quit slow
