Reviews for Kobori Ryokan
Review 1:Quite a distance from Hirosaki station, about 15 to 20mins walk. And also about 10 to 15mins walk to Hirosak castle. Not being able to use credit cards is also a slight inconvenience.
Review 2:Very cozy and traditional ryokan. Facilities are adequate. Staff are very friendly.
Review 3:The only thing that was tricky were the steep stairs to the landing but we didn't mind as it was so special
Review 4:It was a delight to stay here. The room was large and comfortable. The 100 yen bus from the station stopped outside the door. The staff were kind and very attentive and cared about showing us how to look after their tatami mats in the room.
Review 5:The ryokan is opposite a "100 Yen bus" stop and easily accessed from the station. It is traditional Japanese style with thin futon mattresses. Floors are tatami mats and you leave your shoes at the door. The "entertainment" area is in the neighboring blocks
Review 6:no drinking water in the room. There was a light on all night outside the window and it only has paper on the windows so take an eye ask or it's very bright!
Review 7:the staff were absolutely lovely to us and our baby. Great location. Decent sized rooms.
Review 8:No wifi in the room and the room for person is too small but ok.
Review 9:The location of this hotel is good because close to convenience and bus station but a little bit far from Aomori station more 4 minutes for walk. Breakfast is good too.
Review 10:It was a little bit far from Hirosaki JR station, but with bus it is ok.
Review 11:The staff is very nice, the ryokan is very close to Hirosaki Koen and it is really quiet.
Review 12:Very clean, fair price and the staff are very kind. Very good option, there are Sankus just in the corner and the hotel is near a very beautiful temple with a pagoda inside.
Review 13:No Life, I have to take the heavy lagguage to 2nd Floor. I have to go back to lobby for hair drier which I suppose placed inside the room. The Location is far from JR Station but can take the 100 Yen bus whose Bus Stop just opposite to the hotel. However, the next morning, we plan to take the same bus back to JR Station, the buses are very full at the morning around 10:00 am.
Review 14:Japanese style room, tea making set
Review 15:They had bed bug in our room. They gave us orher room but I never go this hotel again.
Review 16:The staff agreed to get up early to make me an early breakfast, so I could make an early start on a hike.
Review 17:Staff were very helpful and kind. Adapted well to language barrier when English speakers were not available.
Review 18:I would not recommend this place to travelers who do not speak Japanese. I felt unwelcome. They would not allow my friend in my room. :(
