The lodge is a 10-minute drive from JR Hakuba Train Station. Free transport services are offered to/from the station. Public Happo Onsen is a 10-minute walk from the property.

Review 1：The staff were great! Very welcoming and they went out of their way to provide information and to simply chat if they saw you around. Breakfast was delicious and the accommodation was generally exactly what we needed. Really enjoyed our short stay.

Review 3：Awesome staff , AJ and Lou made me feel at home , great breakfast every morning and lifts here and there to the ski resorts and bus stations. Communal area is awesome, very comfortable, nice big sofas and TV. Was expecting a backpacker kind of set up but actually it's a proper resort.
Review 4：Whilst there is a lot to recommend Morino Lodge, the staff were really outstanding. Friendly and always on hand, they really went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was as good as it could be - driving us to the slopes or the ski hire, recommending dinner places and driving is there too - never had such good service in a chalet. They really made our trip. Thanks guys!

Review 7：Only point would be that the supermarket is a bit of a hike - though the team at the lodge were very helpful in getting us sorted to get there to pick up a few supplies.

Review 10：Jeff, Matt and the team could not have done more for our group (14) in total. It was early season and they were happy to drop us at the snow fields each day, arrange and drop us at a chosen restaurant each night. Jeff could not have done more to make our stay more enjoyable and we will be back.
Review 11：A fairly loud buzzing seemed to emanate from some near-by outdoor vent from around 7:30 AM in the morning. Made it hard to sleep in. The shower sink could have used a kind hand and was clogged.
Review 12：Staff was actively communicative before our stay. Wonderfully helpful and friendly! Staff picked us up at Happo-Hakuba station (no charge) - again, very helpful. All along the way in fact the staff and owners were friendly and helpful. Cannot over emphasize the positive side of our stay. Lovely room. Clean and cool in the later summer. A nice lounge area and generally nice feel. The TV/Movie selection was very useful too for some nice relaxing.

Review 25：The Happo-One ski area in principle opens the second weekend of December, but when we were there in the 3rd weekend of Dec. the majority of the lifts were closed even though there was lots of snow.
