Reviews for Tesoro Manzanillo All Inclusive
Review 1:food terrible. swimming pool disgusting and dirty. service staff dont care and our complaints about swimming pool met with hostility.
Review 2:air conditioning in room. big bathroom. alcoholic drinks good esp. spirits.
Review 3:Friendly staff. The hotel offers many different fun beach activities and pool. The shows are great! Every night during dinner they have Carnival night, Pirate night at the beach, and so many other.
Review 4:1) Reservation was not valid, they charged and assigned rooms as they want. 2) They charge extra for kids already included in the reservation 3) Very poor housekeeping services 4) 2 elevators for 17 floors 5) Food services insuficiente and very disorganized 6) My family got sick (stomach ache) 7) We left early due to all this issues 8) We demand refund for the 3rd night, we couldn't handle it anymore.
Review 5:Nothing
Review 6:I wouldn't like to be there in high season, the pool seems to small for how big the hotel is, I guess it would get pretty crowded. The desserts were left uncovered, and were usually surrounded with bees! It was until there was a big swarm of them that they would but the desserts in the fridge.
Review 7:The beach is quite private, it has a very nice kids area, rooms are nice and comfortable.
Review 8:Management very bad they want to charge you for everything. same food every day at the buffet
Review 9:Workers very good they work very hard and don't get paid only 35 dollars a week and they work to severals hours is not fair for what they charge
Review 10:I didn't like the fact that they didn't have free wifi, the food wasn't all that good, the wait for the elevators was ridiculous, the wait for everything was terrible. I had to pay extra for my my 15 yr old daughter. The rooms need a fair amount of work. I don't agree with the four stars they gave this hotel, I believe it's about a two star hotel. For the quality of this hotel the rate is high.
Review 11:We liked the ambiance, the friendly staff and the location.
Review 12:The food
Review 13:The staff were very accomodating
Review 14:they need to upgrade the kids playground
Review 15:food was great
Review 16:Need more pools one isn't enought.
Review 17:The Beer could be bottled didn't care for the draft beer to much!
Review 18:Liked the easy beach access and all the amenities!
Review 19:There were no vegetarian options and always the lunch menu for two days had same carrots dish for two days. The pool was dirty with many small insects at some places and sand... They need more English speaking staff
Review 20:A average hotel to spend a weekend getaway
Review 21:The weather was too hot and not enough breeze from the ocean.
Review 22:I enjoyed everything about the resort. It was relaxing, the food was good and service was excellent.
Review 23:Rooms need full refurbishing. Facilities (pool, restaurant) are toosmall for the amount of rooms, so if you go in high season everything isovercrowded. You have to queue for the restaurant and then for the food.Reception and restaurant are understaffed. Internet is very expensive. There are much better hotels in Mexico for the same price.
Review 24:The food is the only thing that deserves an excellent. Beach has apublic access but is nice and clean.
Review 25:Although I'm sure this hotel was really nice about 10-15 years ago,it's definitely past its prime & needs to be refurnished!! Thecarpeting is very old fashioned and worn out, the furniture &furnishings are outdated and the rooms are old looking (& almostmusty smelling). It was pouring rain and cold during our stay. We triedto turn the thermostat up but were told there's no heat - only airconditioning. A maintenance man came up to our room with a ladder toclose the vents. Paint chips fell all over the carpet but we were toldthe room had been cleaned earlier so no one could vacuum up the mess. Wehad 4 lamps in our 2-room Jr. Suite and none of them had a cover on thetop screw so the shades were always crooked and flopping around. Theinside handle on the shower door was broken and wouldn't close. Itwas hanging with only one screw in it and would have been easy for themto insert another one so the door would shut. The strongest stream ofwater in the shower came out of the top valve of the shower head, ratherthan the shower head itself. The towels were very thin and small - nolarge bathsheets like we are used to. The administration treats you likeyou're a freeloader, not a cherished guest. Every time you leave orcome into the hotel, they check your wristband to be sure you're notsneaking in. The front desk people very firmly let you know that youhave to check out by 12 noon on your day of departure & that meansyou need to give your bags to the bellman by that time, or have themwith you and you need to be in line at the front desk by 12 noon tocheck out so they can cut off your wristband. You need to have yourremote and your room & towel keys with you and if you're not inline by that time, you'll be charged an excess fee for staying late. There are no exceptions!! That means if you go in to have the buffetbreakfast, where you can enter until 11:30 A.M.
Review 26:We liked that we were able to make a reservation on 12/26 for anarrival date of 12/30, as our other plans fell through. It wasconveniently located in the area we wanted to stay & Hector, theHotel Manager, was very helpful & accommodating in finding anotherJr. Suite for us as we were unhappy with the one assigned. The best thing about this hotel was the buffet breakfast. The Cafe where it's held looks out at the ocean and has a GR8 view and the food was good. We also enjoyed the New Year's Eve buffet in the Adobe Restaurant & the show that night was also very good. The way Booking.com handled our reservation and their intervention & personal follow-up with the hotel when we were having a problem canceling one of our 3 days was outstanding & we will definitely work with them in the future.
Review 27:beach and pool chair availability - there is a posted 20 min max on reserving but not enforced. Building maintenance lacking. Variety of food needs to change daily. Entertainment noise level too high. Hotel provided shuttle to city would improve time. Availability of more than one person to schedule reservations for tours would reduce in line wait time .
Review 28:Access to beach, availability of drinks, room layout, maid service, Coral cafe wait staff
Review 29:Cold pool Agua fria en la piscina
Review 30:Mexican show
Review 31:the Bar at the pool - drinks were not that good. Also food at buffet needed a bit more variety.
Review 32:No complaints - it was all very great
Review 33:Quality, Service, views
