Review 1：The kitchen staff looked disinterested and not bothered. Though the food was great, they took a lot of time to serve an order. They had very limited number of beers and I was denied twice after my first bottle during my two days stay.

Review 2：Located on the Nilaveli Beach, the hotel gives you access to its own private beach. The swimming pool is clean and overlook the beach. The property is clean and the best part they have a staff who cleans up the private beach all the time during the day. The seafood is fresh. The front office guy was very friendly and helpful. They even arrange for trishaw if you need them.

Review 3：It depends on what is important to you. If you look for a serieus beachtime, this place works well. If you look for great comfort, hygien and excellent facilities this place is far too overpriced. The restaurant is mediocre (they already manage expectations in their menucard by asking for your patience, because they have a small kitchen) and slow in serving the food (nevertheless the staff is really friendly). You can bypass this by visiting the restaurant of the high park beach hotel (200 meters to the right at the beach). Great curries and fast service!

Review 4：There are a couple of major unique selling points for this place: location, a good pool and very friendly staff. Over kilometers of beach, this place has the best combination of a clean beach (a guy is picking trash each day) and a pool (as variation to the sea). And they have comfortable sunbeds. You can ask for clean pooltowels as well.

Review 5：Absence of moskitos net. The door of the bathroom could not close properly. 2 windows in the room could not close properly either. The water trickle in the tap in the bathroom was so little. You really expect something better for the price you pay.

Review 6：The location is great, with the beach and sea literally 30 metres from the hotel. Additionally the swimming pool was nice, big enough and clean. The WiFi is also working properly. The restaurant was fine.

Review 7：Bathroom was old, there were no towels, after asking they didn't bring them. Price much too high. Eating in the restaurant took more than two hours before we got anything.

Review 9：The wonderful staff are the only redeeming quality of this place; they did not have whale-watching or local massage/spa services (as advertised), their "restaurant" was open only for fixed periods and most of their menu wasn't available due to not having stocked various ingredients. Worse, the management is devious bordering on extortionate. I'd missed checkout by less than an hour when I spoke with management and asked them to call me a taxi. He said he would, then didn't. I waited for two hours, then checked with the front desk only to find out that I was now being billed for an extra half-day. This place is far enough away from Trincomalee proper that you must either be able to call for a taxi/tuk-tuk yourself or have the staff do it—management refused to let me leave unless I paid! I had to walk 2km with all my luggage just to reach a road where a taxi could be waived down.

Review 10：Room walls not very clean. Rest of cleaning was ok. Only cold water. No moskito protection. The breakfast were eggs every morning. I hate the eggs now... Expensive for what they offer (except position)
