Review 1：Wi-Fi internet access was not satisfactory. please improve the network further to provide better coverage and speed.

Review 3：The room was a bit basic - and would benefit from having a fridge and safe. Service in the restaurant wasn't the best but the food was tasty.
Review 4：The best feature of this hotel was the pool which was great (and the visiting monkies). The room was clean and the aircon worked.
Review 5：The hotel is close to the street so you hear a constant passing of cars when you're relaxing at the pool. The breakfast was not good. The toasted bread was tough, didn't seem to be fresh. We didn't have internet connection at all in the room. We had to sit in the communal areas to get reception.
Review 6：The room and hotel is very clean. We enjoyed the pool, which was well maintained. The shower was good. The location is good, close to the old town with the ruins to visit. The staff was friendly.
Review 7：there is a disco alfresco in a tented area and noise untill midnight with a loudness far above the pain. Complaints of hotel guests will be neglected.
Review 8：I didn't know that the hotel was on the main road of Polonnaruwa. The manager told me that as the rooms where on the back side there were very quite. I could not sleep because of the noisy street.
Review 9：Mahanuge Hotel is a nice small hotel, with a basic but very clean rooms. The hotel is organized in two buildings with a garden with a pool between them. The main building is on the road and the rooms are in the back building facing the garden. Staff is very nice.
Review 10：More friendly staff you will never meet. Helpful, considerate, quick, smiling and polite. Rooms excellent and modern. Very clean with nice facilities. Fine breakfast and food. Wi-fi worked well in Lobby, terrence and restaurant. A very good experience. I wish they soon install Wi-Fi in the rooms.
Review 11：The buffet wasn't the best, the tops were left off so some of the meals were a bit cold. I also suspected that some of the dishes (Pasta) were just reheated. I was surprised they did a buffet as there must only be 8 rooms, not really enough customers to warrant cooking that much food! The room was nice and seemed quiet but for some reason it seemed to be very 'boomy' when trucks or buses went past, even though the road is nearly 100m away. Guess it's just unfortunate design. Only other niggle was the doors into reception are very narrow. I got stuck with my bag.
Review 12：The hotel is in a peaceful location and the gardens and pool are nice to relax in. Shower was nice and hot and the A/C was one of the quietest (although not the coldest) I experienced.
Review 13：We liked everything. If one were to be very picky, then perhaps the buffet dinner can be improved, but we appreciate that it's an easier option than menu-based dinner. So we were not really fussed!
Review 14：We stayed at Mahanuge Hotel for 2 nights in July 2014 and we loved it! The Hotel is only a few minutes away by bike/tuk tuk from the ruins and we found it really comfortable. The rooms are newly decorated and cozy with (both) fan/air con; a little terrace on the back as well as one on the front with chairs overlooking the hotel garden. There is also a juice bar next to the hotel entrance: the lady working there is lovely and the juices are amazing! Staff were very friendly - we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others.

Review 27：Although the hotel is new, it is not comfortable; It was poorly built and starts already to show some problems. The windows don't close properly, for example. The fan only worked every now and then, and so fast and with so much noise, it felt it'd fall on our head any moment. The bathroom stank so bad we could barely go in it, towels didn't smell much better. The sheets were not clean, with suspiscious stains and holes, and insects were walking all around on the bed. We were happy we stayed only one night.
