Reviews for Casa Andina Private Collection Valle Sagrado

Review 1:We went for our anniversary and Javier who was the manager gave us an excellent upgrade and made our stayed comfortable and great. The staff was very nice and available to help. We had an amazing experience there. Also an excellent location between cuzco and ollantaytambo which is where u take the train to Machu Picchu. We absolutely recommend Casa Andina Urubamba if u want to desconect a little bit from the city and experience an environment of comfort and pleasure.

Review 2:We had a nice stay howeve we were charged inappropriately for a suite and a standard room when we stay in 2 standard rooms. We made this change after reserving through booking.com. When we arrived at the hotel and saw the suite was 2 stories with stairs my father could not do the stairs because his knee was in pain. It was only a $40 difference but in principle Casa Andina should have not charged it especially considering we spent a total of 10 rooming nights in the Casa Andina brand and many meals with large gratuities. My father and I are both successful business people and this is just bad business and short sighted. Although I enjoyed my stay I will not be back and will tell my friends not to go there. Furthermore your internet was the worst of all the places I stated in Peru and it was false advertisement to say there is a jacuzzi, sauna, and spa- none of which were working when we arrived and this was a major reason we booked.

Review 3:Beds, restaurant, peaceful location

Review 4:The receptionist girl did some mistakes... one of them she gave wrong address to taxi driver and we almost lose our train at urubamba station... There aren't any place to go around there for eat, so you have to pay a high price to eat in site there.

Review 5:The view, it's like a haven there...

Review 6:Wifi is sporadic. Ask the front desk which network is stronger and use it in the lobby.

Review 7:Beautiful garden with hammocks that let you relax and gaze at the stars. Be sure to bring not only your passport, but your immigration form. They require it at check in. I left mine at Cusco and had to emailed it to them when I returned.

Review 20:1) Internet reception in room poor and slow in the lobby 2) Taxi prices set by the hotel are ridiculous - I advise walking 200m down the road to a nearby tour operator who can arrange a taxi for you for a 1/3rd of the price

Review 21:1) Beautiful and relaxing setting 2) Spacious rooms 3) Diner is of the best I found in a long stay in Peru and prices are reasonable for the quality.
