Review 1：Location:wonderful lake Maggiore(marvelous scenic views),comfortable cities around the lake.Not far from Milan, Switzerland (38km) Staff helpful,friendly, well-organised.Breakfast not bad (omelet,eggs,prosciutto),cakes,cheese,etc.

Review 3：Staff was very kind, understanding and helpful (we checked in at 10.10pm - no problem!!!!!). Breakfast was cheap (5€ per person) and very good. The room was great value for the money and very clean with air conditioning. 10minute walk from the city center and lake. Quiet location.

Review 19：Location is not very good, but wasn't that bad. Only I mind about isinternet was very slow and we have to walk to the main conuter to getwifi. It was take a lot longer to open a internet page as well. Hope itcan improve in the future.

Review 24：This was a mediocre hotel overpriced for what it says it is. It is akilometre from the lake and there was no good advice about where it layand no good map available. We set off for a short stroll and found itbecame a very long one. As we set off, we checked out the dining roomand meals were available until 9pm but after becoming lost due to theirpoor help, we came back at 8.50pm and were told the restaurant wasclosed. The fridge in the room was noisy and almost useless. The stateof the room was poor with scratched surfaces and tatty sanitation. Iasked specifically for a double bed but found two small mattresses thatdid not fit well together and were too small for the bases. The pillowswere so flat, they were not pillows. The shower head was hopeless andthe place looked scruffy. Lighting was poor in both the bathroom and themain room.The hotel lay in a sort of traffic island and road noise was a disturbance even with the window closed. As for the claim the lakeside view was worth the extra, we could not see how any view of the lake was even possible. Some of the staff were even rude and surly. For a four star hotel, this was the worst we have been in. My reports are generally positive but this place deserves all the criticism.
