Reviews for Palazzo Rosati
Review 1:Wonderful! Great rooms, wonderful mattress. Welcoming hosts, offered beverages, fruit and snacks. Reasonable rates.Across from world class Etruscan museum. Free parking was available 200 meters away. 2 outstanding places to eat in walking distance- Patisserie belle Helene , and Numo
Review 2:We like Tarquinia and will return to this great B & B for a longer stay next time.
Review 3:This is a charming bed and breakfast in a great location in the historic centre of a beautiful little town. Francesca went way beyond what we expect in a hostess and we thank her very much for her efforts regarding breakfast for our 5:00 am departure for the airport.
Review 4:We were greeted by a welcoming family-atmosphere and provided with plenty of local information. A centrally located residence, opposite the Etruscan museum (well worth a visit), with no shortage of cheap local parking. The room was clean and comfortable with high-quality fixtures, effective air-conditioning and reliable wifi. We enjoyed a substantial breakfast and were encouraged to help ourselves from a cabinet of assorted cakes and pastries made available in the dining room throughout the day. A walk to the catacombs takes about 20 minutes and guests are invited to use the pool attached to the associated agriturismo located near the beach, which is a 10-minute drive away. Overall, a sweet memory, and will definitely be making a return visit.
Review 5:Unfortunately the unique archeological features of Tarquinia were closed on a Monday (obviously not the fault of the B&B). In any case our visit was not planned to include the features of interest, but maybe a return visit is required.
Review 6:We only stayed on a Sunday night and the accommodation was very comfortable. We were able to park outside the B&B and staff were very helpful in ensuring we didn't have parking issues after 8am Monday morning.
Review 7:Very hard to find. I didn't realize it was a B&B until we showed up so it had a very small plaque that was impossible to see from the car. Must make arrangements by phone in order to check-in. No staff present on premises.
Review 8:Great location, free or low cost parking a short walk away, super-friendly staff,
Review 9:Nothing
Review 10:Wonderful friendly welcome, beautiful well equipped and comfortable room, generous breakfast, flexible check-out, very convenient central location in a picturesque town, free parking nearby
Review 11:The people were really lovely, food was wonderful, many extras included. Location is very good if you travel by public transport. 2 minutes from the bus stop in the old town which has a connection to the train station (cost only €1)
Review 12:It was a bit hard to find. It's just opposite the museum: look a bit to the left for a plain door with the name on the buzzer. If you find a spot, you can park on the street in front for 3€ for 24 hours or elsewhere for free.
Review 13:Very good location: next to the museum and near a number of restaurants. The owner was very accommodating, especially about breakfast, but also with suggestions for things to do and places to eat. Note though that she doesn't speak English, so if you don't speak Italian, she will have to call a friend to translate.
Review 14:You need a phone to contact the host at your arrival which sometimes is not the case.
Review 15:Spacious, clean and comfortable room. Good breakfast with salt and sweets. Right in front of the museum and at the entrance of the historic city center. Free parking close walk distance. Elevator. Free water, coffee and biscuits. Attentive hosts. Highly recomend. .
Review 16:There was nothing we did not like
Review 17:We loved everything about this Bed and Breakfast. We will return. The attention to detail, the friendliness, the breakfast, the apartment, the town. .
Review 18:Good location for museums, owner very responsive even though we booked just minutes before showing up, owner very friendly and helpful with museums and sights, great breakfast, and very comfortable accommodation.
Review 19:Nothing!
Review 20:This b&b was beautiful, comfortable, centrally located, and run by excellent people! Breakfast was fantastic and so much more food than we could ever consume. The owners are warm and considerate. I only wish we stayed in more places like this one.
Review 21:The Room was beautiful and a very comfortable bed, a lovely dinning area, the owner and family were very welcomeing and made us a lovely breakfast, we only stayed one night but wished we could have had longer
Review 22:Difficult to find as no sign, only a very small note on the doorbell. No-one there when we arrived, until a helpful passer-by phoned the owner for us.
Review 23:A lovely room in a private apartment in a historic building. The owner speaks very little English and we speak very little Italian, but we managed to communicate. An excellent breakfast was provided.
Review 24:There's nothing that we didn't like.
Review 25:An excellent little family run B&B. Quite new, nicely furnished, quiet, comfortable bed, good shower, spotlessly clean with pleasant, helpful, friendly service and a good breakfast. We stayed for two nights while having a 'mini break' in Tarquinia. We couldn't have chosen a better place. It's opposite the museum and less than a minutes walk from parking (3 euro per day) and bus stop. A 15 to 20 minute walk to the Etruscan tombs. We enjoyed watching the sunset over the sea and islands from the piazza, a 15 second walk down the road and an excellent meal at the 'Arcadia' restaurant just round the corner. Couldn't have been better.
Review 26:Comfortable beds Close to museum Good breakfast Friendly hosts
Review 27:This B&B was located directly across the street from the museum. The staff was cheerful and friendly. I'll certainly return some day.
Review 28:very friendly great location, very comfortable and they met us late at night couldn't have been more helpful. Lovely family and a warm atmosphere. Great breakfast Thanks will come again
Review 29:an excellent location for a visit of tarquina, next to the museum, not far from the etruskian tombes. Spacious rooms and a very good breakfast included. We would recommend this B an B.
Review 30:Initially, parking was confusing as we arrived by car. It would have been helpful to have overnight parking clarified since the streets close in the evening for pedestrian traffic only.
Review 31:Tarquinia is a beautiful little city within ancient walls so the location was a feast for the eyes. The room very tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Our host greeted us and made us feel very welcome. Even though this B and B is right inside the gates of the small city, it still had a rather rustic, remote feel. (Great gelato right across the street.)
Review 32:There was no one thing we did not like
Review 33:Ansolutely fantastic. Gorgeous room and Pierre-Luigi was a thoughtful host. Breakfast and all facilities were among the best we,ve experienced. Can't speak highly enuf. Brilliant location as well.
Review 34:Family run very small and nicely renovated B&B. Everyone was extremely gracious and went out of their way to be sure we had everything we needed. Great location, beautiful accommodations, and generous host/hostess.
Review 35:Parking was close, but further than we expected. Driving in the walled city. (Not required)
Review 36:Staff was very friendly. Breakfast included meat and cheese. History of facility. Family run.
Review 37:The B & B was great. We were made very welcome. They provided snacks and drinks for us, which was very welcome. Although they don't live on the premises, they make sure you know where everything is. It was difficult connecting to the WIFI but once we did, it was fine. Our room was comfortable and breakfast generous.
Review 38:Everything was perfect! The hosts were a delight and very friendly, the room and bathroom were clean, luxurious and comfortable, and the hosts went out of their way to provide a gluten free breakfast for one of us. It was very generous.
Review 39:Excellent host - friendly, good local advice given and details of what was in the house to make life extra comfortable. Beautiful rooms, especially the painted ceilings Superb localtion if you came by bus and train as we did. Also opposite the wonderful archaeological museum. All so convenient.
Review 40:Absolutely beautiful room, very comfortable bed and the breakfast in the morning was large and delicious!
Review 41:Nice staff, personal service.
