Reviews for Hotel Corallaro

Review 1:Only TV channel in English was CNN so had nothing to do when the weather was awful for 2days. Also the steep hill to climb to the town

Review 2:Had a sea view and the view was breathtaking, lovely to walk a few yards to the beach. The staff were always happy and so helpful.

Review 3:Deck chairs around the pool rather than sun beds.

Review 4:Excellent location, minutes walk from the beach and bars/restaurants. Large car park & varied breakfast. Hotel & room was extremely clean, friendly staff.

Review 5:I think wifi was included but we weren't given information about this, but to be honest we weren't all that bothered as we were there to relax

Review 6:Everything! The staff were super friendly and helpful, the rooms were spotless as were the communal and pool area. So close to the beach and thoroughly enjoyed breakfast every morning. The beach and town itself are fab and really close to the hotel.

Review 7:Very cozy and homy ambience. My kids felt at home with the lovely corallaro family and their adorable dog milo.the staff are so helpful and highly motivated to attend to your needs.

Review 8:The location is fantastic. Santa Teresa is wonderful and this hotel is perfectly situated to enjoy all there is on offer. Quite understated and the website does not do it nearly the justice it deserves.Worth every cent and the staff are so warm and helpful.

Review 9:The beds weren't comfortable and the look&feel of the room was a bit "spartan". The limitation for 1 per wi-fi free turned to be a problem

Review 10:The service was excellent and the staff attitude as well. It's so close to the Beach - a big advantage

Review 11:Room cleaning absolutely dirty for 210€ per night it is unacceptable (Minibar not clean with piece of ham stick in, dust under the bed, butter on the desk...) Balcon... with a view on the cooking place with the smelling...

Review 12:Proximity of the beach

Review 13:Breakfast could have been better. Sometimes there was strange smell in the bathroom.

Review 14:Good location next to the beach on one side and city centre on the other. Friendly staff. Nicely designed room with comfortable bathroom facilities. Large parking area. Wifi free of charge for one device and working perfectly.

Review 15:The breakfast was not great, but provided the basics. The beds were slightly uncomfortable as well as the pillows.

Review 16:The location is perfect! Easy access to a gorgeous beach! The staff is super friendly and very helpful.

Review 17:mini bar is empty. There was a group of school kids with uniform visited the hotel kids area every afternoon, quite noisy. No kettle in the room even requested in advanced.

Review 18:Room is fresh and clean; the view of the sea is fantastic. Big parking space; Great location - only 100 metres walk to the beach(go there early, it can get very busy, WC on the beach costs 50 cents), about 5mins walk to the main square, 5 mins drive to supermarket for drinking water.

Review 19:The beds are hard by US standards but better than what I usually find in Italy.

Review 20:The location is perfect with less than 5 minutes walk to the beach and the town square. The rooms was clean and a nice size. I had one of the third floor rooms with a balcony and the view was amazing.

Review 21:The absolute best location to stay in Santa Teresa - the only hotel on the beach (1 minute) and a quick walk (though up a steep short incline) to the shops and restaurants. Staff very professional and friendly. No complaints.

Review 22:The doors of the shower were broken and nobody resolved the problem although we have asked about that many times. Swimming pool closing time was definetely too early, at 6.30 pm. The hotel is absolutely overpriced. Poor breakfast.

Review 23:Location.

Review 24:Breakfast (Continental) just untill 9:30. This is to early for Holiday. It was possible to have a littel breakfast just with Sweets till 11:00.

Review 25:We had room number 322, with fantastic view to the sea. The best bathroom we ever had in a Hotel. The beach in front of the Hotel is fantastic.

Review 26:Breakfast - very limited and mainly packed/canned food: compotes, jam. Absolutely no vegetables at breakfast Head of waiters have been informed, no reactions. Our room (no.230) was located above the kitchen area, we paid 280 EUR per night and was filled with smell from the dinner. Air conditioning was not capable of cooling the room, we had to leave it open during all day. Pool closes at 19.00 Sorry to write so many negative aspects, despite being an optimistic and a positive person I felt ripped off. For future customers: it worth it only if you want to be close to Rena Blanca beach.

Review 27:Location 100 meters away from the beach.

Review 28:On Booking.com, it says that we could have free internet for one item pr. guest, and there was free wi-fi in public areas. This was not so. We got one free wi-fi code pr. room, and there was not free wi-fi in public areas. We complained about this, and got one free wi-fi code for each person (we were 4 people in two rooms). This was of course very good.

Review 29:Almost everything was fine, especially that you could get a late breakfast ;) Near to a wonderful beach, and close to the center. Only 5 min. drive to Capo Testa, which has wonderful beaches. Very nice hotel and staff.

Review 30:large hotel with quiet long distances to walk to new rooms in upper level breakfast only until 0930, afterwards you only get coffee and brioche at the bar (which was not mentioned at checkin)

Review 31:very new and beautiful room in new part with great seaview very close (100m) to the beach on the border of the town why it is quite quiet during the night but also close to walk to the center

Review 32:Breakfast buffet was below expectation. Some music/noise from a nearby Beach Club.

Review 33:Friendly and helpful staff. Nice and clean room with balcony.Good location, near the beach. 5 min walk to town.

Review 34:Nothing

Review 35:Very welcome stay for travellers with small dogs. Staff was very attentive. Excellent view if you ask to have breakfast or dinner outside, near the pool. Perfect hotel location.

Review 36:Fairly noisy building which seems to reflect noise such as walking, doors opening and closing and corridor traffic.Bathrooms lack basics extras such as facial tissues,face/ body cream.

Review 37:Closeness to the beach

Review 38:We have absolutely nothing to complain

Review 39:Great location, good facilities and very good food. Very friendly and helpful staff You can relax there even , when you waiting four days for your missing suitcase

Review 40:We liked proximity to beach which is heavenly. Very friendly staff who are very helpful. Santa Teresa di Gallura is a charming little town and the atmosphere is generally easy and relaxed. We were there in late June/early July. Don't know what it is like during peak season.

Review 41:The hotel and the staff were excellant, very clean, all the staff very helpful, the food was excellant with lots of variety. Marina was very helpful and polite, the hotel is well situated to the beach and also a short walking distance to the town square. We look forward to returning in the near future.

Review 42:- near to the beautiful beach - great location - nice breakfast right by the pool

Review 43:Same breakfast everyday.

Review 44:Front desk staff very helpful. Great location.

Review 45:Staff very helpful; hotel cuisine pretty good; good location very close to the beach

Review 46:some staff members were friendly others a bit rude, breakfast was poor

Review 47:Great location

Review 48:Slamming doors and screaming children

Review 49:Location away from noisy center of town

Review 50:Small room

Review 51:Best location and best staff and best pool.

Review 52:Breakfast ended a little early.

Review 53:Very nice and helpful staff. Good location close to the beach and town center.

Review 54:LOCATION AND STAFF THE BEST

Review 55:The staff were without fault. They were great, went out of their way to help and make our stay memorable

Review 56:Staff were delightful

Review 57:Rooms

Review 58:Location, staff, pool

Review 59:Better to rent a flat than hotel

Review 60:Centrally located. Close to the beach and city center. Parking on site. Clean, amaibly decorated. Attentive staff.

Review 61:The pool was out of order when we were there not that this mattered as the beach was beautiful

Review 62:Excellent location just steps away from beautiful Rena Bianca beach. The hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff were very friendly.

Review 63:I would rate this hotel not more than 3*. We chose a triple room which was on the ground floor and next to the backroad with no view, just wall few metres from the window, so we did not open the window during our 3 night stay and avoided hotel as much as possible. It seems there are only few rooms with balcony and great views and these rooms cost double. Breakfast was without fresh fruits.

Review 64:Nice room interior, close to the beach. Staff at the reception very nice, friendly and efficient.

Review 65:Nothing!

Review 66:Staff very helpful, wonderful beach 100 metres away. Short , steepish walk into delightful village centre with loads of good restaurants/bars.

Review 67:Set menu for dinner at E25 per head. No other choice if you wanted a smaller meal. Not many people feel like a 4 course meal every night. For a four star hotel we felt that we should have been able to make a cup of tea/coffee in our room

Review 68:Friendly staff and spotless hotel which is close to the beach A leaking toilet was attended to promptly Decor is light modern and airy.

Review 69:There are no loungers by the pool [only deck chairs - nice though they are]... indeed space around the pool is limited. The pool is v.cold.

Review 70:The location was superb [we had a hire car to explore local beaches despite there being one on our doorstep]. The bar/lobby area is a comfortable hangout. We had a good quality twin room [often twin rooms are poor]. The staff were eager to help [not always matched by English but hey my Italian is pants]!! Everything is very clean.

Review 71:My friend and I were quite happy

Review 72:Really friendly staff, very welcoming. Great beach at the end of the road and located a short drive to many others. A short stroll into the town centre. Large comfy bed too. Decided to go back for our last night in Sardinia as it was good for the airport, so no need to look elsewhere. Wifi access too.

Review 73:Location of our room (409). It was quite difficult to find it in firstdays of our trip. View of the room also was not superb. Not a 4-star hotel. Value is not worth for the money we paid. You'd better not have any problems with your room, otherwise you will be surprised how the staff of "grand hotel" solves problems (we had some incident just before our departure and had to run to the bus station to be there in time). Rena Bianca is beautiful beach, but we were surprised to see medusas there, one of which bit me once.

Review 74:Location (100 m from the beautiful beach Rena Bianca and not far fromBus station, port and city center).Staff in general was friendly and helped to plan excursions to Maddalena, Corsica and San Teodoro. But not all speak English fluently. Breakfasts were rich, but without variety.

Review 75:Uncomfortable bed Small/ overflowing shower Quality of towels Lack of WiFi in rooms Bfast starts/ ends too early - quality of food questionable

Review 76:Location Clean & tidy Swimming pool

Review 77:Terrible value for money- too expensive, it's not a 4star hotel at all. Rooms are very poor and uncomfortable, as well as ugly. Seems like a dorm or an hospital. Really disappointing.

Review 78:Staff was very friendly and helpful

Review 79:They never let you to take even a piece of bread after 10 am. They neverlet you to touch to anything even if you were there before 10am andstarted to take something to eat at 10am. They are so rude.

Review 80:The rooms were didnt fully match the expectations due to the price and the 4 stars. This is a 2 or 3 star hotel. Period.

Review 81:Great staff, good recommendations on nice restaurants.

Review 82:The pool is almost in the car park.

Review 83:Room was reasonable (but not like the picture on the website). Staff were friendly and helpful. The sun terrace upstairs is handy. The breakfast was the best we had in Sardinia.

Review 84:This is not a four star hotel. We were given a room which overlooked the car park and were woken up very early every morning by refuse collectors. Expensive for the quality of the hotel.

Review 85:Excellent location and staff. Within a short walk from the main beach.

Review 86:We loved our room (319) with a nice view of the sea. The whole area of Santa Teresa is very nice. A beautiful beach, great sunsets, rocky coastline, Capo Testa nearby (there's a lovely hike from Santa Teresa), and a great central square with good restaurants and bars.

Review 87:Hotel was tricky to find with all the one way streets. Ask the staff for written directions before arriving by car.

Review 88:The staff were wonderful and very friendly. They were the nicest we have ever had on any trip to Italy. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel was close to town for shopping. (Go out the back near the playground equipment and you are only 5 minutes from shops.) The beach across the street was lovely.Lots of free parking at the hotel. Take the ferry to Corsica. It was a wonderful day trip. We walked to the port.

Review 89:Do not expect to find breathtaking view from your room. These exists but are limited.

Review 90:Exeptional location close to the best Santa Teresa can offer. Both service and hospitality exeeded all our expecations and made us feel valuable as guests rather than welcome as customes. The hotel common areas were modern and upgraded, whilst rooms can be found from a little back dated to exellent. The typical parking challenge at Sardinia is non existing here.Dont miss this hotel and the beach 100m down the street.

Review 91:Wi-Fi in reception area only. Need to pay for pool towels. Bedroom "towels" more like dish cloths, ours very fraid edges, food mediocre at best

Review 92:Friendly staff, great pool, close to beach.

Review 93:Wonderful hotel. We had room with seaview. Fantastic and worth the little extra. Lots of restaurants nearby. Great pool with beach across the road. Great sand no rocks. The staff of the hotel are the nicest people we have found anywhere. They are extremely helpful with any queries on area we had. Thankyou to all.

Review 94:Rooms are somewhat dated.

Review 95:The staff was excellent. Very approachable and knowledgeable Always nice to be greeted with a smile! Location was great, close to many fantastic beaches.

Review 96:When the hotel was busy the breakfast buffet needed replenishing more promptly.

Review 97:Excellent position close to the beach and the lively town. The room had a sea view from our balcony. We used the good sized swimming pool and the lounge area.

Review 98:The room was basic enough but this would not appear unusual as so were other hotels we stayed in while in Sardinia. Also, ours was a standard double so perhaps a superior is nicer.

Review 99:We stayed in a standard double room with terrace and seaview. The room was big and bright and extremely clean. The hotel itself is really lovely, with a great lounge area/bar, friendly staff and a beautiful pool. The breakfast was also very nice. Proximity to the beach, as well as town was fantastic.

Review 100:The main thing missing from the breakfast is fresh fruit. A 4 star hotel should be serving fresh fruit.

Review 101:Really lovely and helpful Hotel staff. They made us feel very welcome, helped us to print boarding passes and gave us tips and driving directions that were really useful. The position is great just near the beach - and the pool was good on some of the days when the beach was too windy. Great hotel for the price.

Review 102:Air in the room was wet, so swimming clothes and towels are never become dry.

Review 103:We were staying in the hotel for 2 weeks in July. This is the nearest hotel to the beach Rena Bianca. Hotel is really good, has friendly staff, swimming pool (not used cause sea is nearby), parking. Breakfast is the same from day to day but yummy. Room cleaned up every day.

Review 104:Our stay at Hotel Corallaro was excellent. The staff was friendly andhelpful. The hotel is located a 3 minute walk from the gorgeous beachRena Bianca and a 5-10 minute walk from the center of quaint SantaTeresa di Gallura. We will return next year.

Review 105:It was very noisy - just kids everywhere and people's shoes on the hardfloors at all hours. The breakfast was very limited and dull, you haveto pay extra for beach towels (5€ per towel!) and the pool was tiny.

Review 106:Very clean and some staff were fantastic - especially the Austrian ladywho was very warm and happily spoke a little English. The free parkingis fantastic and the location is great for the town and beach but bothare very small and the latter is very busy. I really recommend hiring acar and exploring other beaches and towns.

Review 107:Lovely swimming pool with pretty palm trees. Hotel well decorated, staffextremely helpful and friendly. Nice air-conditioned room with balcony.Peaceful and tranquil setting. Definitely would stay there again. Veryconvenient for beach and a short walk to main town square.

Review 108:The size of the suite was incredible compared to traditional Europeanhotels. Also the staff bent over backwards to make our staycomfortable. My daughter became sick just prior to our arrival and thefriendly staff helped us locate a doctor and pharmacy on short notice, even translating our situation to the doctor and pharmacist who bothdid not speak fluent English. The location right next to the beachprovided excellent views and atmosphere. I highly recommend this hoteland plan to return someday.

Review 109:The fact that the water was not potable, and they did not warn you about it by leaving a bottle of water in the room and telling you via a written note. After I had brushed my teeth, I noticed a small icon of a water glass with a slash through it (meaning "do not drink"). Also did not like the fact that their restaurant was not open. One of the factors in choosing the hotel had been a comment in my Guide to Sardinia that the hotel had an excellent restaurant. Did not like the towels -- they weren't even terrycloth. And they didn't provide beach towels! Also, they were filling the pool which affected the water flow in the guest rooms.

Review 110:The view of Corsica from the balcony.

Review 111:Noice

Review 112:Location

Review 113:breakfast can be more organised and more choice.

Review 114:good location, nice diner

Review 115:Good position but getting to the village centre involved a walk up a very steep hill but soon got used to it. Staff very helpful.

Review 116:The town was very nice. The beach was beautiful The staff was fantastic

Review 117:average breakfast

Review 118:Nice spacious room and bathroom

Review 119:nothing!

Review 120:everything!

Review 121:Air-condition equipment in the room didn't work sufficiently

Review 122:Larger space in the room , Cleaness in the swimming pool , Dinner

Review 123:Close to the beautiful waters of Sardinia

Review 124:Very poor wifi-coverage.

Review 125:A family hotel so lots of children. It could be noisy at times but it's what you expect when you have lots of children

Review 126:Friendly and helpful staff Wonderful pool It is a hidden oasis
