Review 1：long waiting times for everything in the restaurant and room service(dinner). Restaurant staff. Lack of some facilities that are advertised (children playground).

Review 3：There was no information in the room at all. A local map would have been very be useful. Also there was no encoragement to eat in the restaurant which from what we could see didn't have international menu.

Review 4：We stayed 6 nights at this hotel & grew quite fond of it. It was Swiss mountain scenery at a fraction of the cost. We had the mountain view suite that was very spacious, we really enjoyed the pool & overall we were very glad to have chosen Hotel Mara for our first trip to Romania.

Review 10：The pool is really big and deep and the jacuzzi is great, I also liked the sauna and the fact that the room was spacious and it had a balcony. The location is over the top, you can perfectly see the mountains.

Review 21：I've stayed with my 6yo daughter in an apartment on the fifth floor. The bedroom furniture was new and comfortable. The living room couch, however, was really old. There was no wi-fi in the apartment. It is far away from the center of Sinaia, so if you don't have a car, I don't recommend it.

Review 24：The weather was good, and we made all small trip that we wanted!The new cable car(pink),castle Bran (50km from Sinaia), castle Peles and Pelisor, Sinaia monastery... My husband and our son was fun in the hotel,s pool.In the restorant they have a amazing singers!And the prise for our stay,that you offer us wasnt the same on the reception.In the restorant is good for us because is not allowed to smoke.

Review 25：No SPA hotel can close the Health club for maintainance for one day. We have chosen the hotel because of the SPA and could not use it.

Review 27：the bathroom was old and dirty, the bed uncomfortable, no shelves in the closet, the minibar was a joke, the tv had poor reception, the staff in the restaurant don't know to say hello in the morning, the menu says one thing and you get another thing in the plate, the pool, showers and sauna war very dirty. One of the worst hotels I've stayed in.

Review 29：- In the first room we got (because we changed this one) we found mold around the bathtub and between wall tiles, batchroom door knob was broken - couldn't close the door properly, the shower didn't worked at all and also the air conditioneer was very noisy - The second room was ok - The receptionist was helpfull even if somehow i found him irritated because of the complains we had, maybe i'm wrong... - The staff from the pool was very unprofessional, because at that time we were the only ones there, they stopped the jacuzzi from working, after we told them we would like to use it they gave us that look and start it again

Review 33：- The hotel has a bit of an old feel, needs some renovating in the rooms. - the pool doesn't work on Mondays, which is not mentioned in the add. - Views to the mountain... disappointing, only the side where the entrance is, has a reasonable view. - Location is bad, if you don't have a car, good luck trying to get to the center of the city, if you do have a car, good luck trying to find a parking space some in the city center - breakfast was disappointing as well, almost no variations in the food. - the heating was poor for the 2 most cold days of our stay (temp -18), so during the night it was uncomfortable, it only got kicked back in during the last night of stay. - could not pay in foreign currency so travelers should be aware of this.

Review 35：The hotel description on booking.com does not match the reality. The fitness room and spa were not available and it will stay like that for a while. There is no LCD TV in the room. The heating is electrical, if you put the fan on 3 then you literally get dry, if you leave it on 1 then if is freezing. Breakfast only meats, cheeses and eggs, if you like these it is Ok. Otherwise you cannot find a single fruit in one piece (only a sugary fruit salad). Coffee a real let down but I did not expect much. Location almost outside Sinaia, forget about walking to any attractions around.
