Review 13：It's a little far from the town. That may be a good or bad thing depending on what you're looking for. The only other issue is that it was incredibly hot the entire night. I ended up taking a small portable fan from the bathroom to cool me off.

Review 21：We chose this place just for a one night break of driving from Tuscany to Belgrade because it's very close to ITA-SLO border. We just needed a bed and a bathroom. We got much more! The owner was very nice and friendly. Showed us everything we needed. The place is very quiet, clean, has a free parking and the bed is very comfortable (loved the pillows!). Definitely recommend it! We loved it!
Review 22：I was driving from spain to hungary an stopped here to sleep.My GPS stopped working in France so I had no idea where to look for the place.I arrived to the slovenian border almost at 10pm and gave a call to the apartmanet to ask for the directions.There was some problem with the network so the line broke. I drived to Postojnek and tried again.The owner lady said that her husband went to the city to look for me as I said I was lost and then the line broke. Eventually I waited for him at the petrol station just off the highway then drove to the apartment after his car. I was very impressed by their helpfullness,it is rare to experience such a nice gesture. The apartment itself is on the top floor of their big house. Everything was very clean,the room was comfortable and warm.The owners are very kind. I can only recommend the place for anyone,the area is nice if you want to go for a few days holiday,but it is also better option then a hotel for those who just stop by for a night rest while driving somehwere.

Review 24：The couple was very sweet and had a nice outside dog too. The apartment was very spacious, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen/living room all separate rooms. Wifi worked great and the breakfast was very nice as well. Location is great for seeing the castle and the caves. You really should have a car if staying here though as it is not in the town center area.
Review 25：The place has a very strong and unpleasent smell, probably of mold. It was impossible to stay in the living room/kitchen. The place wasn't clean enough: mold on shower curtain, spider webs, dirty oven... The entire place is very outdated. The pictures on the website look a lot better thab reality.

Review 31：It's not a hotel, but rooms to let in a family house. The hosts are very friendly and they made us a very good breakfast. The feeling there is like being to grandma's.
Review 32：This is a complete regular house leasing the available rooms to guests. The house has a very horrible smell the moment we entered the house and it didn't stop there, the entire 1bed room apartment on the ground floor smelled like some old food or mold or something terrible. The bathroom had a terrible smell, too. If you prefer clean and nice smell (or just no smell) where you are staying, keep away. The apartment is pretty old style with old furnitures. And, the bathroom shower curtain had a black mold in the middle...and the bathtub clogged when we showered normally. The cleanness of the apartment is far away from being perfect, especially the bathroom and the bedroom/heaters, etc...places that should be cleaned for the guests are either forgotten or ignored. We saw a lot of dusts on the heater and windows (also with a spider net). The windows and blinders don't really work well, either. We asked the owner to open the blinder since we couldn't open it. Later,it was very difficult to close the blinder..and we didn't wanna break it due to its oldness, we just left it open, which made our bedroom very bright in the morning.... If you are staying in 1bed room apartment downstairs, you will hear the noise from the upstairs walking or using the bathroom. By the way, there is no reception or anything. We ranged the bell of the apartment and got no answer. After awhile, an old lady showed up upstairs and came down to let us in cuz the owner was absent.

The breakfast for 4 Euro per person is a deal not to be missed, and the location is in a residential neighbourhood that is quiet and about a 5-minute drive from downtown Postojna. The fact that you have a wellequipped kitchen and you can even wash your laundry makes it a goodopportunity for a longer stay. We enjoyed the breakfast served into theflat. Owners are very nice and welcoming, suggested tourist sites andasked if we needed anything. This was the only appartment we stayedduring a week of traveling in Slovenia and it was a very goodexperience. It would be nice to have airconditioning in the appartment,we were lucky to be on a rainy day but all other days of our travel wereextremly hot.
Review 86：The place was hard for us to find when walking from the railway station.It lead us over the highway very early, and then onto small smalldirtroads which was a plauge when having a suitcase on wheels. But thatmistake was due to following the Google Maps walking direction. Sodon´t!!! Instead keep walking on the west side of the highway for aslong as you can, that way is in much better shape!Not many bus connections either. It wasn´t an issue though since we got ride from the owners to the Postojna caves and to the city! =)

Definitely recommend it!Extremely helpful and nice owners that among other things offered to give lift to different locations.Their english was really good. The room we got (the big one upstairs, suitable for three persons) was really spacious and nice. Clean! Comfortable beds and an excellent pillow in the smaller bed! Free WIFI that worked properly. The breakfast had many different choices and was really tasty =) Two sorts of bread, juice, tea, coffee, omelette, marmelade, cheese, ham, tomatos, honey, butter and crossiant. Quiet and calm area.
