Review 1：Good hotel in the city. Close to everything. Not so big room but enough. Car parking outside. Nice and clean. Great service at check-in. Good review of interesting activities.

Review 5：Cant cook fish in the room. By right owner should provide cooking odour extracter if he afraid the fish cooking make the room smelly. Theres a lot of people selling fresh fish at the lake side but unfortunately we cant buy as no fish cooking allowed.

Review 11：The manager (owner?) was very friendly (and very excited about the upcoming rugby championship the next morning). He had changed our room because he knew we would be arriving late and didn't want us to wake up other guests who were getting to sleep early for the 5am game! He also made suggestions about things to check out in the area and along the way to our next step. The room was great - table chairs, full kitchen, pretty much anything you would need to cook. We were only spending the night but had we stayed longer it would have been fantastic to have.

Review 12：The extra attention to detail eg.paper hand towels in kitchen &bathroom Also having a comfortable couch so that a couple can sit together to watch TV or to have a quite chat. Thank you and kudos to you &staff.

Review 13：Derek was very welcoming. We had a nice stay there. We forgot earings at the motel and he sent us an email so we can arrange a postal courier to have it back. He did it very quickly and we had it before we left NZ.

Review 15：I love the playground for my 3yrs old child. And the room is very comfortable and updated. The location is very easy to find and near the cafe and restaurant.

This is a nice, clean modern motel easy walking distance from the lakeside bars and restaurants. It is quiet and comfortable and I will certainly book again next time I plan to visit Wanaka.

Clean Room which had everything required including a 60 inch tv! Wash facilities on site. Plenty of parking. There was a lovely little patio area outside the apartment to relax. Great views, fantastic location & reasonably priced. Highly recommend! Book now! Will be back too.

Review 31：We found this to be comfortable stay. The bed was great and the little touches like a morning paper and paper towels in the kitchen made a difference. We had a standard unit - if I stayed again, I would choose the superior. Derek the owner was very convivial and a fount of information.

Review 32：This is not the place to stay if you value some privacy. All units, especially those on the upper level as you drive in, have huge windows facing the car park. To enable privacy heavy drapes must be kept drawn as there are no sun filter curtains allowing both light and privacy while in the unit.

Review 33：Staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The service was beyond what was called for, even putting towels on the car windshield to prevent it from frosting. The location was very convenient as well.

Review 34：Derek, the owner of this motel, was very helpful and kind. We had some parcels that was sent to this motel, and those parcel didn't arrive on the schedule time. However, Derek was so thoughtful to call us back about the parcels even after we left the motel. Also, it was such a beautiful place that is close to everything - restaurants, the lake, supermarket, highway etc. The free wifi worked very well. I had experienced that wifi doesn't always work well even it's offered for free. I had no issues using wifi at this motel. Thank you so much again Derek for all your help, kindness and exceptional services. And I hope you find your lost cat!! :)

Review 36：Friendly staff who were always willing to help. The room was cleaned regularly to a high standard. The staff did a few little extras during my stay, to make it better, including putting a towel on the car windscreen on frosty nights.

Review 54：The studio unit was tucked away in a corner and , consequently, very dark. It was small with equally small bathroom. The mattress was soft and there wasn't enough space for a table and chairs. There was a 5.8. magnitude, 4 kms deep earthquake which lasted for a minute the day we arrived and no staff appeared to check on the guests' emotional situations!

Review 56：We arrived on bikes having ridden in pouring freezing rain. The owners allowed us early access to our unit. Very much appreciated by all. Position is extremely close to town and may not be the newest motel in town but it lacks for nothing. Good value for money too.

Review 57：How awesome to have free 5GB Wi-Fi per night!! Most South Island hotels charge $5-$10 per GB for Wi-Fi ( Ridiculous). Received a fantastic customer services from Bruce!

Review 58：Facilities described by Booking.com were not in our allocated room so Manager changed rooms reluctantly after we showed her the copy of the booking sheet that u had sent us. She blamed u for providing us with misleading information and we had to insist on her providing the contracted facilities at no extra cost. An unfortunate attitude.

Review 65：Quiet location on the outskirts of Wanaka. This is an older motel . We were comfortable in our unit which was smallish, clean and covered all of our basic requirements. Wifi undergoing a change at the end of our stay to a new system of "free" which will be a big improvement over "wifi cards"

Review 69：The location of this property is great, very central and easy walking to pretty much all of Wanaka's eateries, the lake etc.

The room had big windows, which was nice, but they faced the car park and there were no white curtains to give any privacy only thick night time curtains. The living area was not well arranged. The price for the room was much more than it should have been, based on experience at previous motels in New Zealand.

Staff were friendly and helpful, with ideas for things to do in the town, where to eat etc. I am always happy when there's a laundry I can use, and the barbeque made dinner easy when we didn't want to eat out.

Kids (aged 4 and 6) loved the play equipment provided, eg trampoline, totem tennis, swings and climbing frame. Easily watched from the room. Nice to have a full sized fridge.

To be able to stroll across the street for coffee, or round the corner for other refreshments, is a real bonus in Wanaka, where parking is often difficult.
