Reviews for Hotel Villa Tirreno
Review 1:Nice hotel, very clean, has gym and pool. breakfast was fine. rooms are large and staff is very helpful. it is 30 minutes drive from parco leonardo. and 45-50 minutes from fiumicino airport. Very quiet. Tarquinia doesn't have a lot to offer. but it's a fine stop with a resonable price. We had two large rooms with extremely large terrace. facing the pool.
Review 2:Warm and friendly. Pleasant, very helpful staff. All necessary facilities. Excellent service.Great food at reasonable prices. Location. Free parking.Very nice hotel. No bad comments. Would visit again.
Review 3:it is quite outside the town (which is a 15min walk up quite a steep hill). close to main road and not a particularly nice location - no views from rooms or anywhere else. It was quite expensive.
Review 4:comfortable hotel with nice facilities. the room was spacious. breakfast good. very modern building. nice and cool in the middle of a hot period.
Review 5:The pictures make the hotel look bigger than it is, it's a family run medium hotel that has everything. Bed was a little hard
Review 6:Staff are very helpful, food and wine/the restaurant is awesome great quality, rooms are a good size and quiet. Things to do in the area.
Review 7:Amazing staff who were happy to help with all requests. Great pool which was really relaxing - it's by a main road but wasn't noisy enough to bother us one bit and was surprisingly empty during our stay. Also a perfect location for car users like we were, ideal distance off the motorway and between the beach and town. They upgraded us on arrival which set the tone for a great stay.
Review 8:Location : outside swimming pool next to road with intens traffic and hence very noisy.
Review 9:Perfect service of the staff. Comfort and hygien of the (superior) rooms was very good.
Review 10:Staff--desk person, waiter--were incredibly pleasant. Food was good. Spotless room. Nice amenities in bathroom. Close proximity to the airport (less than one hour to get to car rental at FCO). Easy access to highway.
Review 11:None
Review 12:Good breakfast. Excellent swimming pool. Easy location for driving into local town or further afield but though on a main road the double glazing eliminated all traffic noise. The facility to use the twin restaurant on the beach was ideal and the meals in both establishment were huh class and good value
Review 13:Breakfast was not very exciting although the coffee was tasty.
Review 14:We stayed for one night on the way to Tuscany from Rome. The hotel was easy to find, just off the road. The room was clean - large with a sofa and a desk, comfortable but not luxurious.luxurious. The bathroom was small but there were slippers and plenty of toiletries. It is a drive to the old city but the old city's interesting with amazing views . The service was excellent and the staff are most helpful. They kindly made us salads at 10.30 at night, even though the kitchen was really closed.
Review 15:I'd like to have seen prunes for breakfast and olives before dinner, but that's pretty much it.
Review 16:This was easily the best value, and best hotel in two weeks. We stayed in very good hotels in Milan, Venice, Levanto, Tarquinia and Sorrento, but this one wins hands down. Superb food in the restaurant, outstanding service in Italian and English, proximity to everything in the town and the Etruscan ruins here and Cervertei. We also did our day trip to Ostia from here. Simply perfect.
Review 17:Great memory foam pillows. Excellent breakfast with good quality products. Modern, up-to-date room/furniture. Very clean, unobtrusively friendly personnel.
Review 18:A little walk up hill is required to get to town/restuarants if you choose not to eat there. Only a minor inconvenience.
Review 19:Great service, all the staff were incredibly friendly. Spacious rooms plus a swimming pool. Good breakfast.
Review 20:The staff were lovely. Would try to assist in anything you needed assistance with. Made to feel at home and very welcome. Had our own verandah to watch sunset!
Review 21:If I am being honest, food was just OK. Not the first meal we were expecting in Italy. Gnocchi and speck OK. Beef was not good quality. Fried fish platter was ok.
Review 22:We were met by Enzo, who could not have provided a better welcome! Check-in in 30 seconds, sitting by the pool awaiting our dinner in less than 1 minute!!
Review 23:Nothing
Review 24:Excellent place to relax in a friendly atmosphere. Very good restaurant with a variety of dishes and wines. Hosts are very kind and welcoming. Couldn't be better!
Review 25:Just a bit too far outside town to walk in.
Review 26:A welcoming hotel on the outskirts of Tarquiniia. Great food and a lovely pool to swim in. Also provided an early breakfast before we set off for Rome.
Review 27:nothing
Review 28:The family who runs this hotel is caring, friendly and see to your every need. Nearby they have a beach club which also makes your stay enjoyable. The restaurants in both facilities are very good.
Review 29:Could not find anything to not like.
Review 30:I loved the rooms with the big balcony, so spacious and modern and the food is just Fantastic The service is just amazing. Daniel and his father Enzo go out of their way to make sure you are well taken care of. Within walking distance to Citta di Tarquinia or catch the bus just was amazing to walk around the little walled city with so much history.
Review 31:Very nice staff, allowed us late check out without additional charge, helped us with directions to the beach and everything else we needed. Great food in the restaurant. Pleasant swimming pool. Tarquinia is a very pleasant medieval town, worth a visit. The beach is so-so as most around Rome: built-up, loud, busy, lots of people, almost all private, so expect to pay.
Review 32:But the restaurant and area for eating is weak
Review 33:Nice hotel
Review 34:Helpfull friendly staff made our stay very enjoyable!
Review 35:excellent restaurant food
Review 36:Fantastic service.

Review 46:swimming pool
Review 47:Great staff and restaurant. Seafood is delicious and transfers from airport & port very dependable.
Review 48:The hotel was out of town. The walk to town was uphill and would not suit everyone.
Review 49:Very comfortable hotel, large rooms, good pool.

Review 59:Staff were excellant. Great service.
Review 60:Relaxing pool area. large balcony.Good restaurant excellent service.Very comfy beds & large room well furnished all mod cons.Owners & staff very helpful & friendly
Review 61:Main a little noisey around peak hour but not a problem with windows shut. Can't control air con.from inside room must ask desk to set a temperature.
Review 62:Quite modern hotel, good restaurant, friendly helpfull staff. We had a large room with a large balcony eith views to the sea. Good to watch the sun go down and drink some Prosecco. On main road and good easy access to town centre.
Review 63:The hotel is a little characterless inside. Tarquinia itself is an interesting town to visit for a day but probably not for an extensive trip. However we found it easy to tour from and there are plenty of beautiful sites within a 45 minute drive.
Review 64:Friendly staff all very helpful. The hotel and the rooms were very clean, there was constant hot water and the hotel had a very attractive pool area. The food was excellent and it was very pleasant having dinner outside by the pool. The bed and breakfast rate was quite attractive and the hotel was well located for easy access to both Tarquinia Lido and the town centre (both about a five minute drive away) and 10 minutes from a very pleasant golf course.
Review 65:The room was clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly (my apologies to the waiter for forgetting to tip him..) and the Albanian Chef of the hotel restaurant serves delicious meals, which pleasantly surprised us. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Review 66:Personnell is extremely friendly and helpful! Simply the best! The pool is amazing. We stayed there and went to Rome (just 1.2 hrs from Tarquinia). And do not forget to visit the old town of Tarquinia. It is charming and absolutely no tourists. Definitely will come back.
Review 67:Nothing. I was very pleased.
Review 68:It was very clean and beautiful. It looked as nice as a 5 star hotel. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, and staff was attentive and friendly.
Review 69:Possibly the position but although near to the road the rooms are soundproofed and very comfortable.
Review 70:lovely 22 room hotel in residential area or Tarquinia. 10mins uphill walk to old walled town which was wonderful and a bus ride to the beach which wasn't that nice. The food in the hotel is superb and has an excellent chef. Hotel arranged a taxi from our ship in Civitecchia and again to take us to Rome Airport. Not anywhere to walk so would recommend a car as its a lovely region.
Review 71:No negatives - Everything was excellent!
Review 72:Staff was exceptionally helpful at all times. They went out of their way to provide gluten free options at breakfast. All facilities were well maintained. Dinner & Lunch were freshly prepared and delicious.
Review 73:noisy street in the evening, so one should close windows and use airco
Review 74:helpful staff, nice swimming pool, close to the beach, close to the center of town, clean and spacious rooms
Review 75:A little dear but justified by the quality
Review 76:Staff very friendly and helpful, hotel modern with superior furnishings, good quality meals in hotel dining room, short drive up to old town centre with many towers, archaeological museum & WorldHeritage listed Etruscan painted tombs. Vincenzo is an easy drive away.
Review 77:We are the couple that traveled with Celia and Mark, Lynne and BobMiertschin. We really enjoyed every moment of our stay! We were near themuseums, countryside and within a reasonable drive to Rome. Weespecially loved the restaurant on site for breakfast and dinners. Veryconvenient and gourmet preparation of food at every meal. The ownersalso had a companion restaurant and beach site that was available to thepatrons. We ate there and enjoyed the beach! It was beautiful. Thisfamily owned business is a real find and reasonably priced. I wouldsuggest it to everyone!
Review 78:Hotel too far from beach.
Review 79:Family Business, well always eager to please. Nice food well presented.
