Review 1：The owners are very helpful and friendly and always made sure we were good. The rooms nice and cozy, and our balcony had a spectacular view to the mountains. The blankets were very nice and warm. The bathroom and toilet are shared but are always kept clean and in great condition. Breakfast is GREAT and delicious, and you are asked one night before what is your preferred time to have breakfast. There is a mini fridge available if one needs to store something.
Review 2：The Gasthaus Bergfried was in a very good location for our skiing trip. It was very comfortable and nice for the value. It was perfect for relaxing after being out all day, and the hosts were very helpful and provided a wonderful breakfast each day. They also provided us a discount for the Ellmau Badhaus. The location was an easy 3-4 minute drive from the lifts, and it was easy to use the Skiwelt bus to the ski resort lifts. Also, the location was a close drive to the lifts, and 2-3 minutes walk to center of Scheffau. The town is really cute and good for getting ski rentals, walking around for some peaceful site seeing, and also for getting something to eat, we never had a problem. We had a great experience. It was a good deal and we hope to come back really soon.
