Review 1:Perfect located - few minutes from village on the Hill in private wineyard - very cute romantic calm place with enough private Space, Pool nice hidden in trees with enough chairs and Sun or shadow - both possible. Extremly nice and helpful owners taking care each possible Minute. Politeness, help as well as smile on their faces every day - very positive way to make your day Nicer. For romantic week if you want to spend Time in calm area with possibility to reach all important sightseeing up to 1 hour (Firenze, Pisa, Siena,...)
Review 2:Everything was lovable.
Review 3:We had wonderful experience staying in Podere Vignola on a hilltop amidst lush green vineyards. Beautiful centuries old villa with tastefully done up interiors and well stocked kitchen. Hosts Giovani was always a phone call away, ever helpful. Overall beautiful experience.
Review 4:Wifi was very difficult to use - inconsistent. Kitchen was a bit rustic.
Review 5:Beautiful surroundings, convenient to train, very reasonable cost, friendly helpful hosts.
Review 6:The location is jaw-dropping. Almost corny in its Tuscan perfection amongst the vineyards, with cypress trees along the ridge above, and the Arno meandering along the valley below.
Review 7:The only thing would be the need for replenishing supplies like toiletpaper, dish soap and extra towels but that was a small matter comparedto the joys we experienced every day driving down the hill and seeingthe countryside. It was sensory overload in a good way.
Review 8:My sister and I brought our two teenage granddaughters here for avacation. My first comment when Giovanni opened the door (@2 am due tiflight delays) to our apartment was "It looks just like thepictures!" Our stay was awesome, not just for the great Italianvistas, the wonderful food and hot showers at the end of a long day ofsightseeing but because of the helpful owners. Whatever we neededFillipo and Giovanni were there to help us. I wanted to surprise mysister with a 64th birthday dinner and they were able to arrange forEliza to come and cook us an authentic meal complete with fresh fruittart as the birthday cake. I will forever remember the picture I took ofmy sister holding her "cake", she was so happy. Thank you forthe memories!
Review 9:There was nothing that we disliked.
Review 10:My wife and I stayed for 3 nights in Oct 2014 in a 2-Bedroom apartment at Podere Vignola; it was the best part of our one-week vacation in Italy. Lovely location with beautiful views; charming, rustic, neat and clean accommodations; extremely courteous and helpful owner / manager going out of his way to make our stay comfortable; thank you Giovanni for a memorable vacation.
Review 11:It is (very) hard to find the place! There is no navigator that send you in the right way!! You need to call the owner from the city-center and they will take you there. There was only one TV.
Review 12:The staff was friendly and kind. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly. Many TV channels. Great view in any time of the day. Very well equipped kitchen. Large fridge.
Review 13:From the moment we arrived and were warmly welcomed by one of the two sons who operate this property, we knew we'd chosen the perfect place to stay. Every detail was perfect and every question was answered. We could tell, that at Podere Vignola, the comfort and well-being of their guests is priority number one! Everything about the place was impeccably clean and looked after. We highly recommend and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Loved it!
Review 14:The only problem was the shower doors the rest was excellent
Review 15:The Views, The Pool, The Staff. The Area
Review 16:No real negative - there's always room for improvement!
Review 17:Location!
Review 18:Picture post card location. Peaceful. Good accomodation & swimming pool. Clean. Friendly
Review 19:Pool - kids lived there Fully equiped kichen Very spacious apartment Smooth check in and check out Great host Giovanni!!!
Review 20:We loved Podere Vignola. The hosts were more than just friendly and responsive; they felt like family. The grounds were beautiful, the apartments tasteful and impeccably clean. The kids enjoyed spending time at the pool or the ping-pong table after sightseeing in the morning. We could cook for ourselves and then eat outside at our own private table in the courtyard. Only 15 minutes to Florence, the location was tranquil yet still incredibly convenient. We can't wait to go back!
Review 21:Excellent location in the hills above a village with all amenities, including a very good pizza restaurant and take away. Lovely pool and sun bathing area, very well maintained.. Table tennis for when it's a bit cooler. Friendly host .
Review 22:Great place for a quiet holiday. Evertything was fantastic. The house itself was very clean with plenty of space, well looked after and surrounded by beautiful views of tuscany vineyards
Review 23:The services. We payed 10% extra charge for cleaning, and we had to take the garbage to the city from the house. The wifi is very bad, you can use it only in the garden, on one place.
Review 24:The house itself is very nice. The territory is beautiful. The owner is very kind. It's very close to Florance, and there's a train from Sieci, going to Florance's main station.
Review 25:The beds are not good at all. Small room had two so tiny single beds that is not really comfortable at all. The kitchen is very old style and might need some work too.
Review 26:The location is tranquille that you need to be careful driving there. Perfectly quiet and secluded while being 5 minutes driving to the free car park and train driving you into the middle of Florence in 30 minutes. Last thing you want is to drive in Florence, that I consider even worse than Rome.
Review 27:There is not really much to criticize. We were here in spring, and despite that it is not the main season there were regular traffic jams in the directions to Firenze, mostly starting right after Sieci, so its always better to use the train (which works really fine and reliable till very long in the night) rather than the car.
Review 28:Beautiful location in the hills between vineyards, fantastic views! Very good train connection from Sieci to Firenze Central Station (approx. every 30min, 2.50Eur one way). A really fantastic scenic route to Fiesole.
Review 29:Small things like kettle, some salt, oil, sugar etc would make difference as you think about kitchen. Bit awkward to locate the property, watch the signs on the stones, car is a must
Review 30:Gorgeous countryside views, sounds and smells.
Review 31:We met with Giovanni in a big car park in Sieci. He helped us to find the house in the evening. Very nice house! Beautiful wiews! Silece! We From Sieci (free car park) 20 min. to Florence by train. Highly recomended!! We loved it!
Review 32:No washing machine. I would suggest having at least a place where people could do their laundry.
Review 33:excellent service from Giovanni having offered to meet me in a more easy to find place and bring me to the apartments. I enjoyed the stay and it was stress free checking in and out of the place. The apartment is very well kept and clean
Review 34:The villa was hard to find at first. Just look for the painted rocks T the intersections and you will be right. But. Car is a must.
Review 35:Podere Vignola is stunning. The perfect Tuscan break close to florence. Giovani the owner/host is kind, helpful, informative and will give his time to help you without hesitation. As a family of 6 ( with a car.- essential..!) we wished we could have stayed longer than the 3 nights we booked.
Review 36:No terassa in the apartment. They don't offer dinner and breakfast and nobody tell us to bring food with us. When we order dinner the woman that cooked cooked 6 hours (!) in our kitchen it (dinner) supposed to be at 7 p m but it became at 8.30 p m and finished at 11 pm . So my husband get mad cause our cottage was busy with cooking lady from 5 to 11 to evening (almoust 6 hours). And when we arrive we also went to town to look for some food.
Review 37:Beautiful views! Nice garden and vineyards
Review 38:The host is a professional person that makes the hotel well managed. The hotel is a place satisfied for its landscape view situated inside a mountain area with a clear air. The room is relatively simple but very comfortable. You may find yourself wrapped with greenish when at a walking.
Review 39:Accommodation Podere Vignola was great! The rooms are spacious, very well equipped with a beautiful terrace. All the beauty of Tuscany I felt while drinking my morning coffee on the terrace overlooking the beautiful landscapes. My compliments to the owners who were very friendly, willing to help us with everything that we needed and meet our every request. They've done everything that we feel like at home. Time spent in the Podere Vignola - Tuscany was one of the most beautiful in my life and I would recommend to all who come to Italy to visit it.I will definitely come again !
Review 40:The few plastic lawn chairs did not add to the ambience.
Review 41:Everything was stunning! Great views, informative and friendly staff. Huge comfortable accommodations. Fireplace, gardens, patios authentici to Tuscan countryside.
Review 42:The beautiful landscape, vine yards, friendly environment.
Review 43:It is hard to find villa, but owner was coming for us to the main street- with it no problem.
Review 44:The owner is very friendly and helpful.
Review 45:Slightly noisy from next door apartment.
Review 46:Location was excellent for visiting Sienna and Florence. The staff were fantastic and very accommodating.
Review 47:Magnifificent relaxing stay in the Tyuscan countryside. Bellisimo!
