Review 1：The first morning they stopped serving the cooked items, apart from hard-boiled eggs at about 8.45 but as that only amounted to rubbery scrambled eggs and low quality frankfurters, it wasn’t a great lossThe reception staff were friendly, although one wasn’t particularly well-informed about local connections, and couldn’t really help with general queries. Residents are mostly using the place just for b&b while visiting local attractions and therefore tend to be out early in the morning, making it a very quiet hotel during the day / evening. The bar was generally almost deserted during the evenings, although there aren’t many distractions in town. I imagine that is the only reason one would be in the area

Review 2：Very convenient for walking to the Postojna Caves and the shuttle bus to Predjama Castle. A simple no-frills hotel, with satisfactory breakfast. The selection of breakfast cereals and bread was good and the variety and quality of the pastries was amazing. The room was spacious and clean and the en-suite good. The [free] wi-fi connection was fast.

Review 3：No lights in the hallway in the late evening. Had to use a torch when I went out. Light was on in the morning - too late for evening wanderers. Unguarded stairway made lack of lighting more problematic. Afternoon staff gave impression that objected to interruptions when information sought. Took too long for hot water to reach shower - thought system was broken.

Review 5：Many fixtures were old and broken. Matress was a foam slab 10 cm thick. "double" bed was 2 singles together with a wooden plank in the middle. Bedding was not nice.

Review 17：airco was not working well enough , rooms are a bit outdated though you can see that efforts are being made to bring it up to standard. When we were staying at the Hotel Sport, the restaurant was understaffed (we had to wait for our dishes for more than an hour... which spoiled the evening).

Review 19：The air conditioning did not work properly and we found it very hard tosleep, the bathroom was smelly, the toilet was leaking and the showerbase had a lot of mould around the edge. I tried to tell the staff butthey didn't seem to understand.

Review 22：It is rated as one of the two five-cog rated cycle-friendly hotels in Slowenia , and offer all sorts of added features , BUT these add-ons are all expensive . I felt let down to the exrent .that I did nor rent a bicycle which had been my intention; I do not think this is the managaress' fault .

Review 24：Weird welcom at the reception. The light in the Hall was out. Struggling to find our room. Awful view on a tank. The tank made a lot of noise. We could not sleep with the window open because of the noise the tank made. Under our mattress lay a plank! Had to format our own bed. Dirty carpeting. The breakfast was shameful. No real coffee. No real juice. No fresh rolls. No yogurt. The fruit was frozen. The worst ever experienced. We we went somewhere else to get coffee and something decent to eat. The sauna was not included. This hotel is aimed at large groups of [cheap] bus users. If you are a loner you don't fitt in. I don't think the other guests have paid as much as we did. Much, much, much too expensive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Review 25：It was very suitable for us as we were travelling round Europe onbicycles. Breakfast was outstanding and prepared us for riding. Hotel iswell geared up nd suitable for people wanting to explore the area onbicycles. Will definitely stay here again.

Review 26：Could not fault the hotel or staff. This was by far the best hotel on my way from UK to Croatia.

Review 27：This was a fantastic little hotel. It's family run, staff is very attentive to all your needs. Food was great and location is fantastic (you can walk [15-20 minutes] to the Postojna Cave). Hotel has a sauna/spa, bikes to rent and a museum almost next door. If you visit Postojna Cave, please read up on the Castle before you buy a combined ticket (castle is 11KM away from the cave and it is more or less empty inside. Walking on the grounds is free, you only pay for entry inside). This was by far the best hotel on my way from UK to Croatia. Even internet was free and very decent. You will not be disappointed.

Review 28：Too much smoking, even though right outside still drifted up to our room right above. Noise from outside patio out front went all night- 4am. Poor wifi in room only barely worked occasionally. Terrible sewer gas smell from bathroom drain.

The reception closes after dinner time and we had to wait outside the hotel for over half an hour before someone came to open the door! Breakfast very poor, one of the worst ever experienced. Mancanza di qualsiasi servizio aggiuntivo al solo dormire con colazione. La reception chiude dopo l'orario di cena e abbiamo dovuto aspettare più di mezzora fuori dall'hotel prima che qualcuno ci venisse ad aprire! Colazione pessima, una delle peggiori mai provate.

Review 34：Despite my paying for the hotel in person they have debitted Cy credit card for 2 rooms. I rang them up. They admitted their mistake & promised to reverse the charges. They still haven't reversed the charges. How much do I have to spend on phone calls not to mention the tension

Review 36：The location is great, a few minutes walk to the center of Postojna, or a few minutes drive to the cave. They offered indoor parking if the outdoor lot was full, which was nice.

Review 37：Only one little pack of shampoo in the bath room for 2 people (no soap to wash hands). However, when I told this to the staff at the reception, he willingly sorted it out immediately.The lamp beside my bed had no light bulb (so I couldn't read before I go to bed) but I didn't ask for it as I was tired. If I asked, I am sure that they would fix it.
