Review 1：Room had vertical blinds with sections missing so an early morning was assured . No freezer compartment in fridge for perishables or ice . No couch to sit on to watch the TV. No sachets of chocolate , only tea , coffee and sugar.

Review 2：Handy location to restaurants and beach. Good off street parking , room was clean. and reasonably quiet (room 8) I imagine the rooms facing the road maybe a little noisy.

Review 3：Dishes weren't clean, some of them still had leftover food bits and moisture from water that was used to roughly clean them. This is a health hazard and I found myself not using many of the utensils unless I cleaned them myself. Unacceptable.

Review 5：The room is extremely tired and needs to be renovated and completely freshened up. There was no full length mirror. There were no tissues available. The iron leaked water from where the power cable came out. Absolute hazard. The small court yard leading off the room was dreadful. No thought or flair has gone into this area. Big pebble stones on the ground, awful old plastic chairs, facing weeds and old fence. No appeal what so ever. Overall, very run down and wouldn't stay again.

Review 9：It just needs a little updating inside the room. We were in room 7. I did hear some renovations have started in other rooms. But for what you pay, it is totally worth it.

Review 11：The room had a terrible smell which we were told about upon arrival. Despite spraying the room etc, but smell didn't go away, not sure if it came from the shower waste, but it was really nauseating. I thought it smelt like someone had filleted fish in the room!! We weren't offered any compensation or reduction on price. It was really terrible

Review 13：We asked for 1 bedroom unit as had 2 children aged 8 and 9. Website said there were 3 single beds in the room and a double in the lounge. When we got there, double was in the room and 2 singles in the lounge. Not at all what I thought I had booked and was not suitable for our family.

Review 27：It was a pleasant surprise to discover a huge statute of "The Immaculate Conception" on top of the hill at Paraparaumu in commemoration of 100 years of the apparition of Mother Mary at Medjugore. Also there were stations of the cross.

Also noisy as directly over road from 3 x Caravans selling Burgers / Coffees / Waffles

Review 37：We were treated very well at Wright's. Pride of ownership was evident. The rooms had been nicely decorated and well laid out. It wasn't busy, so the owner upgraded us to a suite, which was very comfortable and spacious. The motel was close to the beach, and handy to many stores. We had a quiet room.

Review 40：This is the 3rd time we have stayed here, this time overnight. We booked a studio room, it was spacious, spotlessly clean, the bathroom was the same. There is an outside patio but it is mid-winter and too cold to enjoy that. Excellent location, 2 min walk to the shops, cafes and beach. Free WiFi We dined at the Thai Marina, on Marine Parade and would highly recommend. Lovey restaurant, excellent service, with a smile and delicious food with reasonable prices.

Review 44：The walls are paper thin, dated decor and little notes and instructions everywhere. The showers have barely enough water for a decent shower. The noise from the rooms upstairs, footsteps etc, were loud and intrusive. The notes all over the place made you feel uncomfortable, people don't need instructions about everything (except the ones that tell you the hot water is limited) . All in all, very disappointing.
