Review 1：The pool water was freezing. The bed wasn't particularly comfy. The ventilation in the room was horrible. If you shower all the steam comes in the room. Turning the ventilation up meant the room was enveloped in a loud buzzing sound.

Review 2：The hotel was clean. The hot tub and saunas were enjoyable.

Review 3：Staff is not professional and not polite. Smoking is allowed in all the reception and lobby caffe which means there is no way in or out the hotel without inhaling it all. All non smoking areas get smoky over time because of lack of ventilation. Not enough parking spaces. There is a lack of code as we observed a large group of people listening to loud music on cellphones in the lobby while fixing cheese and meat plates from products bought in a supermarket. Also we got expired product from the bar. In my case it was a beverage. drunk people listening to loud music in the floor halls at 3am - had to ask reception to help remove them. could not go back to sleep that night.

Review 4：The room was large and clean. Its in a good location on the main blvd in Sinaia. Decent selection for breakfast.

Review 5：The room smelled strongly of dust and bubble gum perfume; the bathroom smelled like the sewers. The water in the pool was yellow and obviously dirty. The reception staff was not polite. Also, the hotel didn't offer a parking spot - they had a free spot that they said they were keeping for "somebody with disabilities" - the car that was parked there the next morning was not from someone with disabilities.

Review 6：The location of the hotel is good, close to the city center.

Review 7：bathroom - was a lake flowing to the hall after a shower, cold radiator in the bathroom,. Room with Kitsch ornaments, but was ok, can live with that. The most disturbing was the unflexibility of the personal: breakfast ends at 10, at 10:03 everything was taken from the tables, including coffee. Internet slow in the evening. TV can be upgraded, but with UPC can watch some nice movies.

Even the weather was chilly and in the room some heat was needed, the heating at the hotel was turned off. After long discussions with 3 hotel employees I managed to get an electic heater. 3. Friendlyness is alwaysdifficult in another language, but who ever invented this stupidityshould instruct the personnel to camouflage it with friendlyness and anexcuse. No questions, no smile, nothing. Try asking a sentence like" I hope you liked your stay" or are you afraid to get ananswer ? We will not come back.Breakfast: Food is OK, Atmosphere is horrible. Six(!) tables (Carpathia has 70 rooms) for six people each crammed in a small room,i have had more pleasant breakfasts is youth hostels.

Review 71：The checkout, which was the worst that I have experienced in many years.First of all, the pos did not work, so we had to go withdraw cash, andthen it took more than one hour to checkout. In the end we had to justleave the room rent in cash, as the girl at the checkout counter did nothave time, to print us a bill. We also had to leave about 11 Euros for abar of chocolate ( from the minibar in the room) as they could not findanybody to go check the minibar in this whole period. There were manypeople in the same situation as us and the girl at the checkout was rudeand clearly overwhelmed. We asked to see somebody like the manager, whocould help, and she said that on Sunday, there is nobody there. So, ifthey know that most of their guests checkout on Sunday morning, why dontthey have more people at the checkout desks, after all it is a 4 starhotel, with 4 star prices. Also, the breakfast is very poor. Just a fewslices of bread, ham, cheese and eggs. I have stayed in other hotels inSinaia before, and no way does this hotel compare to them. I will notstay at this hotel ever again.

Review 73：Scandalous: the hotel doesn't accept Credit Cards for payment. Their motivation that the line is defect is not credible. The situation has been mentioned by other visitators also one month ago (see reviews on Booking.com). I cannot recommend this hotel while the payments can be done by credit cards.

Review 74：This is not a 4 star hotel. You cannot pay with card. The sink wasbroken and overflows, I had to ask especially for the air conditionerremote; the air conditioner filter was never cleaned and smelled ofmold. There was no soap in the bath. The breakfast was poor. The fitnesswas with just one device and the pool is 7 – 12m you cannot swim there.And that’s not all – at the checkout the staff check the content of theroom in front of you no matter that your reservation is guaranteed bycredit card… they doubt that we probably stole something When asked forexplanations, the manager just passed me without a single word.

Review 75：Waitress/waitresses do not smile,they don't say :good morning or something like that,usually they talk loud between them in their language and this is a way to consider they have no ideea what a pro means,doesn't matter what kind the position you've got in a hotel. .Coming late to the hotel,the receptionist(it was a girl) smoked and layed down on chaires in bar aria(never seen in other part of the world...),no sign to go back to her job.Reminds me to the communist era mentality.If I'd be the owner I fired all of them and hire new guys well trained for the job.
