Review 14:This hotel is like an oasis in the middle of the desert. It has a lush courtyard that allows one to get away from the city. The beds were comfy and the 65 peso credit per person for breakfast was an unexpected surprise. The free, secure parking was comforting. It is a nice stroll to the downtown attractions. While in Durango don't miss one of the Wallendar (sec) Creamerias for a lite lunch and excellent pastries. There is one in Centrol (3 all together)...
Review 15:Hotel on the corner of 2 very busy, noisy, dusty streets. Main street in front is torn up and is the lobby, basically half the hotel. Pool dirty, dusty and cold. Bathroom dirty - toilet lid cracked in half, moldy shower. Only sink in the room, not one in bathroom. No frig. Did not eat there - too noisy and dusty. Would not recommend to anyone, even with construction finished.
Review 16:Not much - overpriced compared to other places we've stayed between Durango, Mex City, Guad, etc - there was coffee in room. Does have lots of off-street guarded parking. Such promise - so disappointing.
Review 17:We had read that parking was expensive, but it was included as was advertised. Perhaps that writer did not know the carpark was also for the public and that a room number needed to be quoted. We had also read that eggs were burned in the breakfast restaurant, and ours were on the first day but on the second when we mentioned it, they were lovely.
Review 18:rooms are a little dated, but comfortable
Review 19:The location to the main square was within walking distance as were other attractions. Lovely old hotel good breakfast.
Review 20:The area near the hotel is not scenic, although it is easy to walk the 8 short blocks to the Cathedral and other notable architectural sites.
Review 21:The facilities had a faded elegance that was comfortable and charming. The gardens and pool were very picturesque, like an oasis in the city. There 2 good restaurant options on the premises and lodging included breakfast stipend. Rooms were comfortable. This was excellent quality for the price.
Review 22:Food at hotel restaurant was not good. Price were a little high for what it had to offer. Restaurant service was poor
Review 23:Rooms were clean, beds were very comfortable
Review 24:Renovations
Review 25:Location and building
Review 26:A bit more lighting in halls would be safer.
Review 27:A nice relaxing place for a couple of days of touring Durango.
Review 28:the grounds were very attractive, the food in the Teraza Restaruant was excellent
