Review 3：The location is good, only 10 minutes away from the old town. However if you don't like meeting various local characters on the way, this may not be for you.

Review 5：Location - too far out from the old town and city centre. We had to use the bus every day which increased our overall costs. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, when arriving at night it was all very dark and it made me feel unsafe, it is surrounded by what it looks like housing estates. Amenities had to be paid for - sauna etc. Bed was not comfortable at all. No coffee or tea in the room.

Review 7：lack of a lift and very much noise at 212 (if i remember correctly). The draining pipes from next room or above room were in room walls and you could clearly here the water and even the toilet flush. thank god the neighbors didn't had any stomach or latter disorder :)

Review 13：The room was very noisy. The noise (shouting, etc.) from (probably) the sauna comes into the room trough the ventilation shaft. I can't be the first to have complaine about this, so this must be a structural problem they refuse to solve.

Review 22：The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the city centre and in a slightly dodgy-looking area of town but we had no problems of any kind. The staff were extremely friendly and the breakfast OK for the 5 euros it cost. All in all, this place offers excellent value as a base for exploring the town.

In the bathroom was a note saying if we wanted towelsto be changed, we had to put them onto the floor. We never did, but ourtowels were always changed for fresh and clean ones. Breakfast food wasvery diverse and delicious too, for every taste there was something tofill you up. Hotel itself is very clean and cosy. Keys are electronic,which is very easy to use. Reception is available 24/7, which isvery nice, especially when you come back late or you suddenly need helpin the middle of the night. Me and my boyfriend did not regret any eurowe paid for the hotel. Thank you very much, Riverside Hotel!

Review 41：- one key for two persons and no chance for the second - somebody tried to enter to my room during the night and reception cannot help - poor choice and quality of the breakfast - no warranty for the car park (you have to sign a document where you knowledge that fact before leaving a car for the night) - I was pressed to pay for the room before I entered it

The hard-working staff of the Riverside Hotel was unable to compensate for the worst management I have encountered in my recent six nation travels.Built around the concept of the “one-time guest,” the Riverside lacks the business model catering to customer satisfaction. It is marginally fit for Western guests. The management has no concept of building a “repeat customer” base, and attempts to squeeze money from its guest services to the maximum extent possible to reap the financial benefits from its customer’s pockets-- Now.The hotel is well outside the city center. There are no eateries, bars, coffee shops, or shopping in the vicinity of the Riverside Hotel. A cab ride is required each and every time its guests would like to reach a meaningful part of town. The area is of questionable safety for travelling at night outside of a group; there are drunks passed-out, sleeping, or still drinking at the many bus stops, tunnels, and parks between the city center and Riverside.Its collection system is archaic and inconvenient. Upon checking in the Riverside Hotel counter, I was informed that the credit card machine was broken and I would be held responsible for daily payments in cash. The hotel’s inadequacy became my responsibility as I was forced to visit the bank machine (ATM) to pay the bill daily. Additionally, after having the manager contact me, a portion of the staff was “less than friendly” for the remainder of my stay.There was a single English speaking television channel—BBC news; additionally, many of the music videos were in English, if that counts….Finally, the hotel is overpriced. At 32.50 Euro per night during the week with a price increase to 49.50 Euro on the weekend, I failed to see the value. I have stayed at hotels in the same price range much closer to the City Center that are cleaner, nicer, and much more convenient.Although the management boasts recognition by major travel firms, I am unconvinced.
