Reviews for Loginn Hotel
Review 1:How cold the little bathroom was because of the ventilation - and it was about -15 degrees C outside, so I am sure that can't be helped! Having a shower did help me acclimatise, however, LOL!!
Review 2:I really loved the cabin - so cute! And when the staff mentioned we could use the restaurant bar area without buying drinks precisely because the cabins are small, I thought that was really sweet - so I sat there, editing photos etc. and listening to cheesy Europop music (in Sweden after all). I didn't need to buy a drink or food, but I did - and the menu offered was simple, but quick, and tasty and presented well :D breakfast was a cold affair, a big buffet of cold stuffs... except the toasty maker, nomnomnom... the photo attached shows the view from the restaurant across Stockholm, over breakfast at dawn! :)
Review 3:Actually, I liked everything about the Loginn Hotel. It has an amazing atmosphere, the cabin was tiny but clean and comfortable and the community rooms, the restaurant are very spacious and cozy. Highly recommended!
Review 4:Well... It's a boat you know. Everthing is tiny. And don't expect huge windows.
Review 5:Idea of Hotel on the boat is excellent. Delicious food. Staff is great. Feeling is amazing.
Review 6:My son and I had the absolute best Christmas ever! Staying on a boat and then this one was just fantastic. My nine year old son already decided he wants to book room 101 for the summer. And if the sun is shinning he wants to sleep on the deck! Good luck and thank you so much for everything! See you soon! Vilum&co
Review 7:We were quite looking forward to our stay in Stockholm and in this hotel. Our room was located in the bottom floor, at the very end. The room was very small (not surprising) and it would have been fine if it looked a bit nicer. Instead, it looked quite old and tired, nothing special about it. There was mold in the bathroom, totally unacceptable for us. In our opinion the whole bottom floor needs renovation. Looks like the rooms (and the corridors) on the top floor are nicer. Another thing we noticed. There is an amazing view from the boat, but when we wanted to take some pictures, we noticed that the whole deck is covered with odd pieces of old furniture and other stuff. It's a shame, because it could be such a nice place to stop for just a few minutes to enjoy the view and take some photos. All in all, we think this hotel could be great and definitely a unique experience for tourists if some renovations were made.
Review 8:Every member of staff we met was very friendly and helpful, willing to give us tourist information. The location was also good, we didn't mind walking to the main sighths and shopping areas etc. It was very conveniet to get to Skansen by boat. Breakfast was also fairly good. Oh, and amazing views!
Review 9:I really liked the location but there didnt seem to be any shops close by if you wanted a snack
Review 10:The owners are wonderful snd very helpful. The food in the restaurant was great and it was good to be able to come back after a day of site seeing and not have to go out to eat. The atmosphere is brilliant and we felt very much at home.
Review 11:No place provided for eating your own food. Staying a week I just could not eat pizza every night.
Review 12:Terrific staff, great breakfast and the best pizza! I'll be back soon for more.
Review 13:I hop my pictures came out the right way round... The app seemed to turn them and not let me delete... Maybe it will be ok? :0)
Review 14:Great, quirky, clean, cheap.... Wonderful view from the rooms port hole and a good, cheap, friendly bar... Simple but satisfying breakfast and all in all a great find. Rooms aren't big but they are great for the money!
Review 15:Brilliant location food was good staff was friendly only issue was the size every thing was a bit cramped but I'm 6ft 2 with wide shoulders so suppose that's my problem being tall
Review 16:Room is very small - as this is a cabin on a boat. Room was a bit outdated, small renovation would be needed. Breakfast is basic - muesli, cheese, ham and bread.
Review 17:Nice and cozy room, nice view to Stockholm from the window, very quiet.
Review 18:If you want to be longer that 2-3 days, location could be better - it is about 20 minutes by walk to the old town and 15 minutes to metro station. Small room, but we expected this.
Review 19:Very good hotel: nice staff with comunicate english, delicious breakfast, its clean, location - we were pleased.
Review 20:It is really easy to locate the boat, it is kind of on the iconic position in the city. The staff is really nice, we felt very welcomed. We had the room which we could see the view across the river, the view is super fabulous in morning and evening. The room is very clean. Although the room is very small, we hang out in the city and just came back to sleep in the night, so it is not a problem for us.
Review 21:room close to door (beeping each time opened) - if this is because of smart price in booking.com please make note about it cold in room
Review 22:interesting place, beautiful view, easy to reach
Review 23:Our room was right by the entrance and below the bar/restaurant making it hard to sleep.
Review 24:I really enjoyed the location of this hotel, it was close to the tube station and attractions.
Review 25:The bed was small (as advertised), my boyfriend who is 6"1' was a little uncomfortable! But not a big problem for a short stay.
Review 26:Great location a short walk to Gamla Stan (old town). Lovely staff. A fun place to stay with a bar and restaurant upstairs. Great views. Room was clean. Great value for money.
Review 27:Doors are too noisy of other rooms , especially when guests are entering there room in the evening. but its what you expect on a boat i guess , so it is exceptable
Review 28:its cosy , clean , friendly staff in reception and in restaurant , nice and fresh breakfast. If i do get a good deal again through booking.com i will definitely visit again , it is worth 539kr per night but not 1000kr per night as is the standard rate. Another good point is the parking , just infront of the place there are parking spaces available and free between 17.00 - 09:00 which is very important as it is not so easy to find a hotel in the centre with parking just across the street :))
Review 29:Lovely staff who turned the outside deck heater on just for us one evening. Very friendly and helpful. Great room with super interior- we loved the themed decor
Review 30:I loved everything. Perfect staff, location and accomodaton
Review 31:The staff were very pleasant and friendly. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was the best it could be. Fantastic location and unique experience, which made for one of the best parts in visiting the city. Always very clean and tidy
Review 32:The small double was limit too small for 2 adults, I rented an extra room after the first night.
Review 33:Very friendly welcome, cabins comfortable but very small. Breakfast was good. Would have been good to have had a bottle of water in the room. Fairly accessible on foot. Very quite, I was surprised.
Review 34:Not too many options for the evening menu at the restaurant area.
Review 35:A very charming hotel, it feels like being home inside a boat! The staff is very welcoming!
Review 36:Cabin fever sets in quickly Bathroom smells a bit musty
Review 37:The quirkiness of staying on a boat. Close to Stockholm and attractions Friendly staff, decent breakfast and pleasant restaurant It's a good nights sleep too Amazing views over lake Malarän and Stockholm
Review 38:Not much space to work in your room, and bathroom small (but not unexpected given its a true ship)
Review 39:Good location, nice ship, good place to relax at night with stunning view out from deck (covered - heated at night). Great value rooms and the Gravlax is a great bite to eat in the bar.
Review 40:A bit far from metro station, Gamla Stan and other central locations.
Review 41:The views were amazing from the room windows, balcony area and the bar. Breakfast was plentiful. Loved lingonberry juice! Helpful staff provided us with extra blanket.
Review 42:As above: Noisy vent in room Breakfast was Ok but a bit simple
Review 43:Nice to be on a boat as it was a bit different. Breakfast was Ok but quite simple. The bar area was lovely and it was nice to enjoy a drink with an excellent view. The ensuite bathroom is pretty small and there was no plug provided. It was very easy to lose things down the piping. The rooms were cleaned daily however so this was fine. I had a very noisy ait vent that emptied into the room. I'm not sure if this was to ventilate the room but it was easily possible to open the windows. I found the noise from the vent quite irritating. Staff were always friendly. Location is Ok but it's a bit of a walk to Gamla Stan and town if you're having to do it every day.
Review 44:Staff. Particular one was not in the mood. He doesn't seem happy to see us there, don't know why. But he may had a bad day, it's okay.
Review 45:The view! It was amazing!!!!!!
Review 46:Charming boat in central location just a few minutes walk from old town Stockholm. Nice bar, great views, clean room, comfy linens and great included breakfast all at a super low price for Stockholm.
Review 47:Size of bed and room. We were in a small double which was the equivalent of a small single at best and is not big enough for two people or anyone taller than 5ft 10 (head hits the ceiling). Booked & paid for 3 nights and booked and stayed in another hotel after 1 night.
Review 48:Bar area was good
Review 49:The room and bed were only big enough for one person (not even double-bed size) despite the fact that we booked for and were charged for two people. The bedding/duvet was for a single person. A ceiling fire detector was hanging low enough to get hit and go off, the stairs to bed (!) were sharp and dangerous, the bathroom was too small to turn around in, and the portal windows looked at a garbage bin and people's legs on the street. The stairs in the hotel were dangerously steep and there was no elevator.
Review 50:Staff was friendly and very helpful. The outdoor bar/cafe had a fantastic view at night. The hotel was located within walking distance of Gamma Stan.
Review 51:Really low ceiling, limiting the guests to max. 185cm height.
Review 52:Location, location, location! And an open bar on deck with incredible view of the City hall, Gamla Stan...
Review 53:nothing
Review 54:We have only stayed 2 nights but everything was amazing, location - just 10min walk to Gamla stan, room - basic, small with only bed, table and chair but you only go there to sleep - so it was all we needed, bathroom - small and clean but might be a problem for tall people as the shower was like 180cm. Breakfast - good, night bar - great with amazing views
Review 55:1.Room was absolutely boiling hot when I arrived. With difficulty managed to get small port-hole open. 2. View of the pavement edge / quay not very inspiring (asked for Lake view). 3. Room was rather cramped. Top bunk quite low so not easy to get into lower bunk. 4. Breakfast was a fairly limited selection. 5. Suspicious of hygiene/cleanliness of room - I was bitten a lot by something - some bites in places I would not expect to get bitten when walking around! 6. Walk to city felt longer each time. Just a bit further than I would want to be really.
Review 56:1.Good view of the Lake. 2.Boat looks impressive from the outside.
Review 57:Small rooms (as expected) - just about had room to stand up in the shower. The food menu was very limited.
Review 58:Value for money was good. Bed was comfortable. Amazing views from the outdoor bar. Walkable from the central station. Fast wifi. All in all a positive experience.
Review 59:I've paid for a economic double room, which it's quite small but I got a private very clean, power shower and a double bed which was very comfortable. No complains!!!!
Review 60:Very friendly reception desk...all info need were given out with a big smile!!! Lovely atmosphere at the boat....
Review 61:We loved the gorgeous views over the lake, the relaxed atmosphere on the boat for eating and drinking looking over the lights of the city, friendly helpful staff and great location. (Just a short walk along the lake and we were in the old town. )
Review 62:You can't alter your booking once it's made. I made a split second mistake with a date, emailed the hotel and for no answer, emailed through booking.com and I was told to check the policy on the websites. Wasted £80! The place wasn't in great repair either - buckets catching drips from air con and a bit shabby.
Review 63:Lovely location in the river but I'd just go for a drink and watch the sunset.
Review 64:At this price the lack of space is not an issue.
Review 65:Great location, with a wonderful view. The hotel had novelty which overruled the lack of space and facilities.
Review 66:We were on a room on the side of the road and it could be a bit busy/noisy at time with people getting in and out of the bar upstairs.
Review 67:Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice to be on a boat compared to a 'regular' hotel. Decor is very nice and comfortable. Hotel was good value for money.
Review 68:Some staff at the bar were not so polite and prefered no talking. Food variation limited and only 3 choices of wine in a glass (red, rose, white). No traditional food like herring and potatoes.
Review 69:Great staff at the hotel, good bar with lots of beers and cider, wine ok (but only bottles). Kitchen limited but some dishes were great.
Review 70:Bed a little high for oldies! But clean and comfortable.
Review 71:Almost everything! Food - limited menu but quality excellent. Staff superb. Management very friendly efficient and concerned. Happy to return anytime.
Review 72:beds were very uncomfortable, very noisy through out the night no gluten free option despite mentioning this and being told there would be!
Review 73:lovely location great bar on top of the deck
Review 74:Fantastic central location with a great view over the water and wonderful to have the weather to eat breakfast on deck. Very helpful and welcoming staff, comfortable bed, and the tiny cabin not a problem as plenty of social areas to sit and read or work if needed.
Review 75:This is a case of location, location. The room was as described, so we knew we were trading some comfort for a unique venue. Read up on the history of the ship whilst sipping the best priced glass of wine with the best view.
Review 76:For that price, the breakfast was really simple. The shower was right above the sink and next to the door of the bathroom. There was a small curtain between shower and toilet. During showering the floor in front of the toilet got soaked and the floor in the room. I couldn't sit on the toilet, because the fixed garbage bin was in the way. The air in the room was bad. The ventilation worked very poorly. There were a lot of corners which hadn't been painted. In our room, we had a really bad internetconnection.
Review 77:The view from the room and the bar. The personel was friendly. The beds were small but cosy.
Review 78:Asked for room overlooking the harbour had one overlooking road near entrance and was woken by guests coming in later at night.
Review 79:Staff@ reception and bar very helpful and friendly. Top deck lovely to sit out and enjoy the views across the harbour. Only a one night stop as exploring other areas of Sweden.
Review 80:Cabin was full of insects. During one night I was painfully bitten over 40 times (25 times in right hand). My hands are swollen, which made my further trip by car difficult. Strongly revive this place, despite its good location.
Review 83:Breakfast was uninspired.
Review 84:The deck bar was wonderful. Prices were reasonable and the pizza was very good. Also, it was heavily frequented by locals which made for good networking and engaging conversations.
Review 85:Great location, clean cabin which was perfect for a budget stay. Easy to walk to Stockholm central, Gamla Stan and close to stations. I had a single cabin which has a little bathroom with door. It is a boat so rooms are small but perfect for what I needed. Definitely stay again!
Review 86:- Tiny rooms, but that was not unexpected - It is a boat after all :)
Review 87:- Fantastic restaurant/bar in the deck with a spectacular view of the city - Staying on a boat was really fun!!! - Excellent location - walking distance from the Viking Line ferry terminal, two subway stations, and Gamla Stan (Old Town) - Cozy room - Friendly staff
Review 88:Bedroom very small and several steps into double bed. However, price and location made it worthwhile.
Review 89:Great location, cheap bar was great atmosphere and views on deck of boat.
Review 90:The location of this unusual accommodation is totally amazing you could not get better views.Nice and easy atmosphere where you can come and go as you please .don't feel trapped in a hotel room, stay here, really clean and welcoming, evening meal options could be better but plenty of restaurants to choose from in town.An excellent base to explore from.
Review 91:room very tiny. I couldn't really stand up! Would be nice to have some cross ventilation.
Review 92:Location and view and outside areas. Absolutely beautiful. Lots of ambiance!
Review 93:Bedroom submarginal and should not be offerred as a bedroom without fully describing its limitations and not appropriate for the less able
Review 94:Location is a strong point with parking close by
Review 95:Pretty tight quarters. Breakfast was great but not a lot to choose from.
Review 96:The staff is really helpful. Definitely a unique experience (staying on the boat). Great view of the river and river front. Slow paring area, bike path and walk way on the streetside.
Review 97:Some renovations and repairs are needed. Cabins are, as expected, a bit cramped. It was somewhat out of the way, but not too far to walk to the old town (Stockholm).
Review 98:Staying on a moored ship was nice. The decor was interesting (nautical), and breakfast (included) was good.
Review 99:We didn't eat on the boat because the menu didn't have much to choose from, and was expensive and looked not very good. Also the wifi stopped working on the outside deck which in my eyes it should have still worked as long as I was on the boat. Breakfast Didn't have much to choose from. Not even any fruit.
Review 100:It was definitely a very cool experience staying here. I would stay again! The rooms were small, but we were on a ship, so I didn't expect much bigger
Review 101:The rooms were very small and very basic!
Review 102:The top deck was lovely to sit and have a drink. Staff were friendly and helpful. A good location for travelling around the city.
Review 103:1 Coffee. 2 On deck- Gaps between middle rail and deck- not good for small children etc. I was with my older child so ok but I would have worried if I retuned with my 5 year old. I would stay elsewhere in this case but I would definitely return here- it's great. 3 limited menu but enough for a couple of nights and fantastic quality.
Review 104:Helpful and knowledgable, made to feel very welcome, friendly atmosphere, easy going and relaxed- fairly quiet, fantastic decks with bamboo, shelter and colourful light, plenty of space chairs tables and views here. It's cosy with wifi, TV and board games, blankets to sit outside with.
Review 105:No elevator, and narrow bed (this was as advertised). But it is at least a km from public transportation, much of it over cobblestones. On Friday and Saturday evenings, there was no room to sit up on deck--too many people.
Review 106:View over the harbor was great. And our porthole opened. Breakfast and wifi were both good. We ate there once, and the food was good and reasonably priced.
Review 107:The bathroom was clean, but partly a bit mouldy as it is probably a bit older. Our toilet overflowed due to not pressing the flush long enough as we learned afterwards. There was no closet in our room. We did not need any however for a longer stay it would be better to have one.
Review 108:We loved the view and the location itself was very special (on a ship) to us. The terace and TV room were nice for hanging out. All in all we felt very comfortable and had a great time.
Review 109:i have no issues with the small rooms, but the ceilings were a little low and resulted in us always bumping our heads
Review 110:the staff there are very friendly, they gave great sightseeing advice, and tried their best to make us feel comfortable
Review 111:The staff. They have no knowledge of the city and they are not professional
Review 112:-Location (nearby the centre) -Breakfast -sight (you see gamla stan and the parlament) -balance between quality and price
Review 113:No complaints. It did what it said on the tin and more.
Review 114:The location is perfect for the Old Town with all it's attractions. It is also only a fifteen minute walk to the tube station ( unless your old like me) then it's twenty.
Review 115:the en-suite tended to flood after a shower without draining away easily, the cover was not quite big enough to cover 2 people comfortably. Everything else we couldn't fault for what we were there for. If you're looking for luxury this isn't the hotel for you, but it is ideal for a long weekend stay to suit your needs.
Review 116:Staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in a room on the bottom level with a fantastic view overlooking the harbour. The room wasn't overly spacious but we knew that would be the case as we only needed a comfortable place to sleep which that served. We loved the top deck seating areas with heaters as the view is beautiful. We were concerned that you would hear quite a lot, this wasn't the case, you could only hear people walking past in the corridor or the odd toilet flush. No other noise and we had restful sleep.
Review 117:Carrying suitcases down long stairs from subway station. No bus on street facing hotel. Very small bathroom,
Review 118:Nice breakfast, lovely view, great deck area at top of boat
Review 119:The bathroom shower was a bit tatty and needed fixtures in place but I'm surprised each room had a bathroom anyway. Should not deter you from staying.
Review 120:The owners were fantastic and really tried to help with our queries about the local area and getting around. They also amended my booking with no problem. The beds were surprisingly comfy and whilst the cabins were quite small, the novelty of staying on a boat made it worth it. The boat is big and lovely too and would be great in the summer.
Review 121:Staff very obliging and fantastic facilities for snacks, drinks, late meals. Staff opened breakfast early due to our early flight out. Excellent drinking Water free.
Review 122:Breakfast could be more varied, but it was good anyway.
Review 123:Very good location. There is an amazing view on the Town Hall from the top floor. Stuff was very nice and helpful and drinks in the restaurant were for good price.
Review 124:One morning the toilet didn't work, but it was fixed immediately.
Review 125:The Hotel provides everything you need to explore Stockholm. It's in the middle of the city, a simple breakfast is included, it's quiet at night and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Don't expect any luxury - it's a boat.
Review 126:Very convenient location for what we were in Stockholm for. Although there are no buses running past the ship, the Tunnelbana and buses are only about 5 minutes walk away
Review 127:I had the pizza at the bar on the boat as it was suggested, but I was very dull, not great. Beer and breakfast was good.
Review 128:Bed was comfortable, room was clean, very friendly staff, fun view from porthole. As you would expect on a boat, not much space.
Review 129:We had a great stay, staff were lovely and very accommodating and helpful. Plentiful breakfast and good shower. Room was small but big enough for a base for a city break.
Review 130:Tiny room, could hardly move! Luckily, we were there for only one night with only hand luggage. Where should we have left a suitcase? The bunk bed was uncomfortable. Reasonable breakfast and very friendly people. Comparatively low price for central Stockholm.
Review 131:Friendly, 'caring' personnel.
Review 132:There's nothing that I didn't like. I knew that it's on a boat and small room. If you want a big hotel, this isn't it. We were there in March - no problems with heating in our room.
Review 133:The location is great if you don't mind a bit of walking, 10min walk to subway station and 15min to lots of pubs. The rooms and beds are small, but that suited me fine as I was with my girlfriend! And I'm 6'4" (almost 2m) tall. The pub on site has the least expensive beer that we ever had anywhere. The workers there were friendly.
Review 134:Enjoyed the meal and breakfast but limited food choice.
Review 135:Its a ship, nicely converted, great outlook and not too from city centre. Small and friendly atmosphere. Rooms small and basic but very nice and bunk bed I stayed in very comfy.
