Reviews for Vila Camelia
Review 1:A selection of diet bread at breakfast would have been welcomed.
Review 2:Quiet but central location, beautiful courtyard and a full of history intimate interior space. The great lobby with the air of age, transcends time. The tastefully appointed large rooms and the exterior architecture of the building completes an unforgettable accommodation experience.
Review 3:Absolutely nothing
Review 4:There was nothing that wasn't wonderful about this boutique hotel. All the way from breakfast to beds, from friendliness of the staff to the cleanliness of the rooms.
Review 5:A small hotel in a converted mansion within walking distance of Peles Castle and monastery in Sinaia. Interesting and comfortable rooms. Lovely grounds.
Review 6:The time when I was visiting here is already end of October, the weather is getting very cold at night. But the heater at room is not hot enough. The situation was improved after my request of higher temperature. However, the heater seems to be turned off after midnight, and the room temperature was getting cold thereafter.
Review 7:I chose this hotel because I love the exterior of the building and its surrounding environment. There are trees surrounding the hotel, and the environment is so quiet and nice. It is located so close to Sinaia Monastery and only a 15-minute walk to Peles Castle. Although it is not far away from the city centre, about a 5-minute walk only, the road between is a little bit steep, and dark at night. So you must take a taxi to the train station when you are having your baggage. But I love this sequestered environment because I want to come here for a vacation. On the other hand there are buildings all around you in the city centre. The hotel building is very historical with very charming interior. The central hall and the breakfast room are very nice and having ancient atmosphere. The breakfast provided is so good with some home-made dishes. All the staff of this hotel are nice and friendly. The reception can provide you all the necessary information for sight-seeing at Sinaia. I would like to recommend you my booked room which is just beside the reception. Because there is a private balcony with windows like a greenhouse. This is the only room having such balcony in this hotel.
Review 8:The building is neglected and the rooms are very standard and quite boring - no sign of the beautiful old style of the common rooms. Vila Camelia seems very popular for bigger groups that use the central hall to sit together in the evening - this leads to a lot of noise that can be heard in all the rooms! One night we couldn't sleep until 2 am because of that. The staff is there, but nothing more than that. The prices are quite high for the offered comfort.
Review 9:The building is very beautiful of course, certainly the central hall and the breakfast rooms are really nice. Good and diverse breakfast.
Review 10:Bad smell from bathroom drain.
Review 11:Nice rooms. Supportive staff. Excellent breakfast. Walking distance to Peles castle and city centre.
Review 12:Great villa, decor inside and breakfast!
Review 13:lack of a/c
Review 14:the villa itself, the balcony, peacefull and Calm.
Review 15:Check out should be 2:00pm instead of 12:00pm.
Review 16:Location
Review 17:relaxed atmosphere
Review 18:A bit worn down, easy to hear the neighbours.
Review 19:Nice location, great old house. Nice staff and breakfast.
Review 20:The only things we did not like were the water temperature in the shower that was not always stable, sometimes it was changing to cooler by itself and we also missed a clock in the living room. Besides these minor things the place is really great.
Review 21:We stayed in the two bedroom apartment that in the best possible way combined complete privacy and service and really enjoyed everything. The apartment is very comfortable while separate bathrooms for each bedroom add a lot. Location is best possible! A tip: there are step stairs leading to the park, that allow you to avoid the main road that is shared by cars and pedestrians. The breakfasts are also very good, with all home made dishes. Would highly recommend the place!
Review 22:I enjoyed really much the special atmosphere of the old building outside and inside as well, the rooms where decorated with good taste and were clean, equipped with facilities. The staff was kind and helpful.
Review 23:Perfect location. Very close to Peles Castle and Sinaia Monastery. Also, it is near to the access to sky station. Very clean room and comfortable beds.

Review 26:Absence of wifi in the room. Pillows could be softer.
Review 27:Perfect location - short walking distance to the railway station, downtown, the Sinaia Monastery, the Peles and Pelisor castles. Beautiful building of exquisite architecture, green surroundings, big comfortable room, tasty breakfast, lovely staff. Very good value for money.
Review 28:For those who would like more comfort, it could be strange to live in a hous where stairs and floors creak, but for romantics it is not a problem, may be even advantage.
