Review 1：Food at breakfast buffet was horrible and didn't even look fresh which is sad. Staff is very unhelpful with any restaurant recommendations and when asked they just hand out a preprinted map with resturant names.

Review 10：The first room, though a non-smoking room, smelt like an ash tray. However, the receptionist was quick to response when I complained about it - they changed the room immediately, moved all my luggage for me and brought me a air purifier. The second room was flawless.

Review 35：The exceptional service of the Front Office staff. Although I speak little or no Japanese, they patiently listened and endeavoured to answer all my questions. I wanted to know where to get a "samurai umbrella" for my grandson, and after an initial 'don't know' answer, the receptionist left a message to say they found the store, and showed me an Internet posting of it! She then called the store, made them hold it, and gave me the exact price to pay on collection. Needless to say, my grandson was happy and speechless when he saw it.

The reception counter has been moved from the ground floor to the 6th floor, but the hotel rooms are on the 11th to the 16th floor. Hotel guests have to queue up for a long time waiting for the two elevators as non-hotel guests take the same elevators to the floors below the 11th floor.
