Reviews for Pinot Villas

Review 1:Very comfortable and clean. Nicely furnished. Loved that it was so close to the square. Received a very friendly welcome from the owner. Definitely recommend and will be back.

Review 2:Nothing really. Wish we'd stayed longer. No cooking facilities so no good for a longer stay.

Review 3:Friendly owner, very central but secluded location. High-quality fit out, but felt homely not sterile.

Review 4:Very hospitable - gave us a great welcome and good overview of where to go and what to do. Impeccably clean and tidy villa and could not be better placed - walkable to many of the wineries and a stones-throw from the centre of town.

Review 5:Ideal for a recuperation break, but with plenty to do. The cinema (circus) is worth going to it has a very good restaurant with a very good selection of wines, that you can take into the movie with you, makes for a very pleasant and relaxing evening a very definite 10.

Review 6:Everything- most notably being upgraded to the 2 bedroom option after realising that it was mother and daughter. The heater, blessed relief after a day of chilly wind and rain. The spa bath- pure bliss to warm tired, chilled muscles.

Review 7:Nil

Review 8:The level of service along with the peaceful tranquil surroundings. Boutique accommodation with facilities that reflected flair and character. Looking forward to our next visit.

Review 9:Nothing it was just lovely!

Review 10:Cottage was so clean and well appointed. It had a separate bedroom and lots of space. Great location meant you could walk into town and some vineyards.

Review 11:Having to go home

Review 12:The location, quality of the accommodation and the friendly positive attitude of the owner. This a fantastic facility ideally placed to take greatest advantage of what Martinborough has to offer as well as a good location to the rest of the Wairarapa

Review 13:It would be hard to improve on our experience and overall impression of Pinit Villas. Extremely well appointed - the owners had really thought of everything! Thoroughly enjoyable experience - wish we could have stayed longer.

Review 14:There was no air conditioning. The noise created by people late at night walking past our bedroom window on the wooden deck was loud. There was no privacy sitting outside our room during the day.

Review 15:The room was lovely and location to town great.

Review 16:- situated close to Martinborough square, cafes, shops and wineries. - it's easy to tour many wineries on foot or on a bike (bike hire available)

Review 17:We arrived 9 February for an overnight stop. It was raining and the town seemed like a ghost town from the mid west. Should have stayed a few days so that we could have explored the local vineyards.

Review 18:Very comfortable and close to Restaurants and Supermarkets.

Review 19:My bed was a bit hard, comes down to personal preferences, but not the most comfortable. A psycho fridge that made the weirdest noise at night - woke me up a few times.

Review 20:The owners were very helpful - I checked in earlier than expected and they made my villa available early. Lovely villa, great surroundings, very close to Martinborough Village. Great place to be to attend the Martinborough Fair.

Review 21:The price and quality are in balance with each other.

Review 22:Beautiful apartment with all the necessary stuff and more (cd player, cd's, books). Loved the jacuzzi. Quiet, good parking, well situated for wine tastings and a stroll along the main street of Martinborough.

Review 23:Nothing

Review 24:This was by far one of the best places we've been so far. Stayed only one night, should have stayed at least 3 to fully enjoy this beautiful accomodation.

Review 25:Upstairs bathroom door did not close and problem with shower head but was being fixed but unfortunately not for our stay.

Review 26:Location and comfort with excellent wifi also given lots of information about area. Lovely garden to relax in.

Review 27:No negatives worthy of comment.

Review 28:A comfortable & friendly place to stay. Very convenient for local wineries and many other places of interest. Lovely part of the country.

Review 29:My sleep was a tad uncomfortable due to the high pillows provided. Provide another set of flatter ones? Obviously a minor detail that comes down to personal preference :)

Review 30:Friendly welcome, very clean room with gorgeous garden area out front :) Perfect for a couple or small family/group. Super close to the town centre!

Review 31:A very comfortable and luxurious unit right in the middle of Martinborough, close to excellent restaurants and bars. Many extras that make your stay more enjoyable. Close to all the vineyards

Review 32:A wonderful spot to take in Martinborough charm. Very well appointed, roomy and great outdoor garden area as well. For the price, you can't beat it.

Review 33:The bedroom top cover on the bed could do with replacing. Looks and feels old and tired. The couches in the lounge not the most comfortable.

Review 34:Location was excellent. Everything was exceptionally clean. Set up like home away from home. Books for reading DVDs and some very nice furniture. Would defininitly recommend.

Review 35:Shower enclosed by curtain rather than glass

Review 36:Spacious accommodation, bathroom separated from bedroom by corridor so as an early riser I could shower without waking my husband, WiFi worked very well, comfortable bed.

Review 37:The villa would have been even more perfect for long stay if had washing machine & drier. An upstairs toilet would have been good too. Both of these comments only give plus value, and did not detract from overall enjoyability.

Review 38:We had Villa 1 which was at front of complex. It was excellent. Very comfortable and well appointed placement of furniture. Double bed downstairs, two single beds upstairs. Sitting area with two comfy tub chairs, dining table & chairs - the villa had everything - even easy- listening CDs and reading material. Position in heart of Martinborough 'town' so walking distance from Martinborough Hotel(excellent meals & cosy atmosphere). Check out the Cinema - it is a very comfortable boutique cinema where you can take in a wine - like Gold Class. Make sure you book the restaurant and be early for the movie as it is very small/ intimate. I think it's open only certain days of week. In summer, walking distance to many wineries if you don't mind walking. I considered staying at Peppers which is a little but out of the town centre so not as handy to what the town centre has to offer. Btw - I do not recommend going to Martinborough Monday - Wednesday in winter as many places not open until Thursday - Sunday.

Review 39:Cold tile floors in the bathroom 1st thing in the morning :)
