Review 1：A makeover would be in order, and perhaps an HRV unit to cope with the damp.
Review 2：This is a tidy, peaceful motel that is close to restaurants and other attractions in Te Anau. The staff are friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money.

Welcoming and helpful lady who helped us book a cruise in the sounds. Very quiet environment. Convenient location close to the city center. Free wi-fi, good when it worked.

Review 24：Our only complaint was the poor wifi... it is supposed to be included but it was down more than it was working despite a number of attempts by the manager to reset it, which was a bit frustrating. That may be a short-term issue which may well be fixed in the future.
Review 25：We enjoyed the Parklands Motel very much. We stayd there in March 2015 for 4 nights. The location is very good - right across the street from a large park, and close to the centre of the town. Given the good location, the rent was very reasonable. The unit was clean, the bathroom/shower was excellent, the bed comfortble, the kitchen decently outfitted for cooking in. It opens onto a nice rose garden in one direction. The manager was very friendly and helpful.

Review 30：It's not just this hotel, but we found wi-fi to be sketchy many places in New Zealand, even if you pay for it. They are upfront about that, but it still doesn't make it easy. My father was hospitalized in the states and it was so stressful not having dependable internet to keep in touch.
