Review 1：There was some difficulty checking in as we arrived at 2:00am. It took a while to be let in.
Review 2：The rooms were spacious and clean, with very comfortable beds and cotton sheets. There is a nice patio off the room in the garden. The host was helpful in arranging transport.
Review 3：It would have been nice to have a t.v. in the room and hot water kettle for tea since there is not a restaurant in the hotel or very close by.

Review 9：The rooms are huge, with really high ceilings. So much space and very clean. The grounds are green and luscious, with a very clean and naturally warm swimming pool. It's quiet too, despite being only a few minutes';walk away from a supermarket. Great location. I definitely recommend this place. The owner, Malraj, happened to be there when we were visiting. He's a generous and extremely helpful person, and so is Sugath, the man who runs the place. So great karma all round:-)

Review 11：It was great staying there for two days, at end of trip to Srilanka. The best part was ,we were invited by owner og this villa, Mr Malraj, to chill out over a glass of beer on the 31st December evening.
Review 12：Bit expensive getting to the airport- best to book a metre taxi youselves if there are only 2 of you. A little hard to find- booking.com GPS coordinates are incorrect but Google maps has the right location.

Review 24：The property, located at a quiet place, is very inviting. It has, however, a few downsides. Each room could be furnished with a refrigerator, a television and a safety box. Besides, there is no restaurant in the hotel or in its vicinity. . A small restaurant in the hotel could improve it substantially.
Review 25：No breakfast facility, no electricity back up, no WiFi in room at all not even paid basis, poor lighting outside hotel for walkways up to main road, poor billing style, takes service charge separately besides room rent which is not a legal tax but without services this service charge is waste, have to pay separately for AC, so in a way hidden costs are many. You need to find a breakfast place outside and so first thing in the morning is to locate breakfast.

Review 28：Location is perfect just 5 mins to the airport. The Villa is well designed with good style. All facilities are really clean and the staffs are taking very good care of the place. On top of that, the owner is super friendly and very helpful. It was probably the best stay we had in Lanka. And one of the most unforgettable experiences.
Review 29：Booking.com details that the place has a kitchen. That's not really the case and whislt we did manage to make some food the kitchen is very basic and not that accessible.

Review 33：The kitchen related items were a bit odd. The fridge can't be plugged in where it is and even when we moved it, it didn't work. Also there is no stove and no kitchen utensils. But I assume that all the people come here to sleep one night and don't bother about cooking - I didn't even expect them, but I did expect a working fridge to keep some things before the flight.
Review 34：Very kind staff. Although we arrived late, they allowed us to use the pool, and also at 6am in the morning! The apartment was very spacious and beds comfortable. Very close to the airport. There is also a supermarket close by.

Review 42：The manager is the kindest guy, helped us alot on our first few days in Sri Lanka - you really feel at home. This is the perfect spot if you need place near the airport. Nice clean rooms, nice pool, also its easy to relax a little since its quite. Transfer to airport is about 10min. There is a Supermarket about 5 min by foot, ATM about 2 min with a TukTuk.
Review 43：some parts of the villa is not complete yet, make sure you ask them where they up to, or you risking to stay in a muddy entrance with unfinished apartments, some of the light are not complete. wi fi is very slow and only available in one area

The room and house is clean with a very comfortable bed. The swimming pool is crystal clear and the garden well taken care of. The highlight of our stay was the amazing breakfast that Sugath cooked for us and later we were spoiled with coconut drinks in the pool!! Thank you Sugath! Thank you Malraj!

Review 53：AC available only in the master bedroom and its very hot in the hall. The door lock of master bedroom needs to be repaired. The glasses in bathroom is transparent and any one can have a look from outside, it needs to be changed with design glasses.

Staff is very cooperative. Price is very less compare to other hotels. This is better to stay in this villa instead of having room in 5 star hotel. Best for family even for couples and friends. A pool was the main attraction for my children who enjoyed alot. Owner Mr. Malraj Balapitiya specially visit us next morning with his wife and share some important things to do in Srilanka. Am very grateful to him for their hospitality. We will definitely stay in Airport Villa whenever come again and suggest everyone to stay.

At evening time Malraj´s wife and daughter offered us an exquisite dinner. Hmmm. Thanks once more for those moments. Moreover, very worried about our trip, as we decided to arrange the car and driver with them. All was perfect. I highly recommend.
Review 64：The villa has two rooms,one king bed, and one twin beds. We booked two rooms and got the whole villa with swimming pool. Just like in home. And it's only 5 mins away to airport.

Review 112：Based on the reviews we saw here, we decided to spend our last night in Sri Lanka at the Airport Villa. After 10 days of traveling around the country, Airport Villa provided the perfect relaxing end to our trip. We unfortunately didn't get to enjoy the pool because of a storm, but it looked lovely. The caretaker was welcoming and recommended a restaurant for us to have dinner and ordered a tuktuk to take us there. Breakfast the morning of our departure was excellent. All in all, we had a very nice stay and would definitely recommend Airport Villa to those who want to be close to the airport.
