Review 1：Hotel booked 7-8 months in advance to co-inside with a booking via Andre Rieu Travel Making it a 2 night stay instead of 1 night. Hotel Overbooked and forced to take an alternative Hotel...Not Very Happy.

Review 2：A bit too formal at reception where you are asked to be seated at a desk.

Review 3：Just a nice, decent hotel in this beautiful area of The Netherlands. Lots of possibilities for hiking and cycling around. Nice room with clean bathroom. Nice breakfast with sufficient choices.

Review 12：Friendly welcome from the receptionist. The room was not large but was clean and well-fitted, including wifi. The small sauna & steam room were clean and tastefully decorated.

Review 15：If you want to use a laptop computer in your room you will need to havea cable with you. The hotel lent us one, but unfortunately we couldn'tget the connection to work. However, there is wi-fi downstairs in thelounge area which worked well.The carpets in the rooms are a bit tough on the feet, but I had read about this previously and went prepared with a pair of slippers so it was no problem! There is no air conditioning in the rooms and it was very hot during our stay. However, we slept with the door to the balcony open and were careful to keep the voile curtain closed. This acted like a mosquito net so we were not bothered by insects getting into the room.

Review 16：This is a lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff who allspoke English. There was a slight mistake with the allocation of ourrooms, but it was soon put right. We loved the breakfast room, and thebreakfast too which we thought was excellent.We were a little disappointed on arriving to see that there is now a building site next door. However, there was never any noise or disturbance and once the project is completed I don't think it will be of any detriment to the hotel. (It's a block of flats for the elderly.) We found the hotel to be in a very convenient location. It was easy to get into Maastricht and also to get out into the countryside (which is very beautiful) and Gulpen itself is a pleasant little town. All in all we were very pleased that we had chosen this hotel and would be happy to stay there again.

Review 17：No floor heating in bathroom. We came in late and the hot water was very poor on that late evening.
