Review 1：Mosquitos were coming in through the bathroom window and so a few made it in to my room too. Dead cockroach under nightstand. They forgot to book my airport cab but at least one came pretty quick.

Review 2：5 minutes from airport. Perfect for exactly that purpose. I wanted something cheap to bridge a few hours before my early morning flight. You get what you pay for so in that sense I can't complain too much.

Review 5：Excellent small hotel with a lovely team to welcome you. We booked a family room which was very large and perfect for us. Room was simple, new and clean. Breakfast was freshly prepared for us, portions were large and the food was basic but very yummy. Location is about 15 to 20min from the airport. It was a perfect first night as we landed late in the evening.

Review 8：When we reached at reception we met a v rude person at reception , even though we booked through booking.com, he told us you didn't book the room, then he asked for extra money and gave us room at a higher rate . Later when owner came , he told us that your booking was made but receptionest wasn't aware. Is it professionalism? Why did they charge us extra then? Then our room AC wasn't workinh properly, we made complaints at least 5 times , but they told us that no other room is available, we will change room as soon as it is available which never happened. When you enter you see den of mosquitos everywhere. And it's waste of money. You can good hotels near airport

Review 10：the hotel is not bad, but service is terrible, we booked two rooms but when we arrived late in the night we are told only one room avilable, we ask the staff to fix it but he let us waiting in lobby not action at all, seems doesn't care if we stay or not, half hour later we asked the staff he brought us to a neighbour hotel, which is far below the room level we reserved...fairly speeking without all these bad service the room itself is pretty good value for money

Review 14：There was a light above the dresser that blinked at intervals. It was quite disturbing but throwing a towel over the bulb helped.

Review 15：EVERYTHING!!! This hotel should be rated five stars. The rooms are very modern and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Food was amazing and the staff very friendly.

Review 17：Near to the airport. Tuktuk for 500,- Rupies, if the stuff is calling it for you, fixed price. Go to the main road -just 2 min walk- and you'll pay 300,- rupies.

Review 26：It is not close to the beach or to the restaurants on the beach (it's in a village next to negombo), but that is not why we stayed there. Plus the beach itself is not really worth it.the location is great for a night of rest prior to traveling. There is still some construction going on in the hotel,but there is nothing to bother other than some construction materials here and there.

The personnel was really nice with us (they offered to give us a free ride to the airport when we said we have no more money), and the breakfast is amazing. The hotel is situated 45 mins walking from the airport, or a 300 - 500 rupees (usd 2-3) tuk tuk drive away.

The airport shuttle means to hire a car with driver for 1000 LKR. The hotel is not completely finished. Some parts just look like they forgot to do them before opening the hotel.

Review 46：It is near the airport, great for the first or last night in Sri Lanka. The hotel is clean and new. I didn't see any cockroaches and only a few mosquitoes, even though they wouldn't be so surprising in the area.

Review 48：It's a budget hotel with spacious rooms and bathrooms. Enough open space in each floor. It's located at a few minutes' drive from the airport. Negombo-Colombo highway is a few minutes' walk only. The owner is a very cooperative woman.

Review 49：Tuktuk scams at the airport. Don't pay more than 500 slk rupee,it is very close to the airport! We had a deal and than the tuktuk took us somewhere else and pretended to be lost and charged us 2000slk ruppee in the end we payd him 1000 because he got agressiv, even after we payd him the 1000slk he didn't want to leave and askd for another 1000slk and he said the hotel we had to pay more money and that we were no honest people but luckely the hotel defended us.

We were warmly welcomed the the room was nice and clean. They really made us feel at home and gave us tips and suggestions on places to visit and how to bargain with the tuktuk drivers. If we ever find ourselves back in Sri Lanka, we will surely be staying in Neo Holiday Home.

Review 68：The place is super nice, safe and clean. All staff including the host are all friendly and helpful. We spent one night there before we left for Thailand. My husband lost his wallet in tuktuk. It was a stressful night because we don't have one more day to manage to look for his wallet. With high hope that the driver would bring us back his wallet, our host didn't just hang in, instead, they asked if we wanted to go back to Colombo Fort Train station where we took that tuktuk just to find some clue. They're super helpful and generous. Fortunately, the driver brought his wallet back. People in Sri Lanka are incredibly lovely. We didn't get a chance to say goodbye in person as our flight was so early. We left the place at 5am. We wish to have name and address of our host, so we can write a letter and send gift back. I'll find out how. Highly recommended! We'll definitely go back and stay more nights there. Thank you so much for everything and wish you all the luck and best!

Review 82：The hotel is located just 10 mins away from Bandaranaike International Airport. It is exceptionally clean. The rooms are spacious with air-conditioning. Washrooms are adequately stocked with amenities. The variety of spread for the breakfast is also good. The owner and staff are very helpful. They arrange for taxis or trishaw at any time of the hour if you ask them in advance. There are a lot of restaurant options if you walk till the main road. Food City is just 5 mins walk from there. Liyanagemulla railway station is 10 mins away

Review 88：Easy access to the airport, you can go by bus 187-E3, which is about a five-minute walk from the guesthouse. It costs 20 rupiah, and takes less than 10-minutes. From the bus station, it's a seven-minute walk to the airport, or a 100 rupiah tuk-tuk ride (don't pay higher, cuz it's no more than about 500 meter trip). This is a very nice hotel, very clean and comfortable, but the Wifi was really spotty. That would be my only complaint. To get there from Colombo Fort, you can go my local train, get off at Liyanagemulla station, it's about a three-minute walk from there. You can also go by bus 187, get off in Liyanagemulla near the Global Park building. The road to the hotel is right across the street from this building, it's about a 200 meter walk to get there. It's a very good option if you want to be near the airport and stay in a budget hotel..

Review 89：Nothing.the WiFi didn't work the day I was there but I didn't need it and the owners were very apologetic. Local power cut, what can you do.

Review 90：The owners are really friendly and welcoming, can't do enough to help. The best room standard I personally have experienced staying in budget accommodation in Sri Lanka- big bathroom with hot water; flat screen tv; massive bed; luggage rack; air con; dimmer lights and electronic do not disturb signs on door that you can switch on from your bed. Plenty of plug sockets. My room had a balcony. Very clean and secure.

Review 91：The lady who runs the hotel is so nice. The rooms are modern (we stayed in the deluxe) and very comfortable. There is even wifi in the rooms which is something Sri Lanka struggles with!

We had a 3am flight so went there for the evening to have a ret/shower etc. It is an ideal place to stay the night you arrive and/or leave. The owners were happy to arrange a lift to the airport for us at 12:30. It is very close to the airport. The owners are wonderful people....so friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble.

I had a fabulous noodle dinner on my first night cooked by the owner which I can only describe as delicious..... The location to the airport is literally 10 minutes away....and there is a railway line 3 minutes away which goes to Colombo Fort in an hour... There are local restaurants within walking distance and a local supermarket which is easily reached by walking...all in all I am thoroughly pleased with the 2 night stay and highly recommended this holiday home.

Review 103：The location of the property was amazing. It was very close to the airport (4.1 KMS or Rs. 250 to 300 in a Tuktuk Rikshaw). The place was very peaceful. The Railway Station was just 2 minutes walk away and trains runs throughout the day (last train leaves Colombo for hotel area at 8:20 PM) and takes just Rs. 30 to go to Colombo 11 (Fort, Main Colombo Station). The train also goes to Nighomo or something which has beautiful beaches and can shop for souvenirs there. Amazing Staff also, specially Amanda.

Review 104：Ordered food from a very limited menu told 2 hours later that the chef wasn't available and we'd have to go out. Advanced request for an extra bed wasn't acknowledged or prepared for so we waited while a very small camp bed was put into the very small room (very clever perspective photographs in their details!). The staff was welcoming, helpful and made me so comfortable being there. Gave me the best first impression. Check in was easy. nicely and simply decorated hotel. very clean. Quite surrounding.it would be nice if I could stay even longer. I would return to this hotel with my family next time when I visit Sri Lanka. It was a pleasant, safe and relaxing stay. Review 119：I stayed at Neo Holiday Home with my five year old son. It is the best ever experience I had in Sri Lanka for my 20days trip all around the country. This property is very close to the airport and they arranged a hotel car for drop me at the airport. Own by very young lovely couple speak fluent English (Prasanna and Amanada) personaly attend to every guests to make their stay more comfortable. Even Amanda recently gave a birth to a baby but still she is looking after her guests. Amanda showed exceptional love and caring for my baby son and that makes his stay was even more comfortable. Staff also well trained. excellent WIFI available in the entire property. Food was very good. Very clean, nice quite rooms with clean linen. They added new rooms to the property as well as a Gym and a roof top garden which is nearly finish. They told me part of a property has been closed for some time and recently they opened again for guests. I had a lovely and great time at Neo Holiday Home. Thanks everyone for making my last night so brilliant. Definitely come back to receive your hospitality again and will spread the words.
