Reviews for Martinborough TOP 10 Holiday Park

Review 1:The next door cabin to 6 was very close and it wouldn't have been good if the people next door were noisy.

Review 2:Being amongst the vineyards. Everything necessary was provided. Soft white towels and face cloths. Peace and quiet. Near lots of walks.

Review 3:The bathrooms were cold. While the showers themselves were very clean with good water pressure and temperature, there is no door coming into the bathrooms. Maybe a door at the entry would help a little. Also the bed was uncomfortable in my cabin.

Review 4:The cabins and bathrooms were amazingly clean. The linen was crisp and bright white. Little things like hooks, towel rails and a torch were helpful. The gardens were lovely too. The electric blanket was a luxurious surprise.

Review 5:The office was closed every time I tried to make contact, (3 times) so I had to ring from Christchurch on my return to ensure that we had been checked out. Disgraceful

Review 6:Not good value for money - no water or cooking facilities in the units, paid less per night for similar units at other camps in the area with full facilities

Review 7:Nice new units, very clean and tidy

Review 8:The thought of going across to toilets at night tried to avoid that. Condensation was a pain

Review 9:Meeting others new experience to us Having breakfast with fellow campers was great.

Review 10:Really great location for being so close to the Martinborough square, very nice cabin that has an up to date contemporary feel, lovely surroundings and very good on price.

Review 11:Nothing bad :-)

Review 12:All facilities were very clean, good pressure in showers, friendly staff and comfy bed. We hired bikes and cycled to the vineyards it was great!

Review 13:Only a minor detail, would really have appreciated mosquito nets on the window of our cabin so that we could've slept with the window open as it was very warm.

Review 14:Lovely staff, excellent set up and location.

Review 15:Friendly staff, comfortable bed in studio cabin, clean and well serviced. Local swimming pool is right next door. Martinborough is a great little town- a few really good shops, cafés, a great market on the first Sunday if the month. Wineries galore but also well located for day trips all through the Wairarapa.

Review 16:We were there on a very windy night and the cabin roof made an horrendous noise - not sure if anything can be done about this.

Review 17:Loved the park like setting with mature trees and well kept lawns. Kitchen facilities great with plenty of equipment provided.

Review 18:Except, the night we stayed there was a frost, which meant that the whole of Martinborough turned into a scene out of Apocolypse Now. Helicopters and Jet Engines running all night to protect the Vineyards. Unfortunately, this meant we had a very disturbed sleep. Apparently, this only happens 5 or 6 times a year. so, just a bit of bad luck. And the host did warn us :-)

Review 19:The Campsite is really good on all fronts.

Review 20:* The queen bed could have done with a thick topper pad to make it a bit softer.

Review 21:* Friendly staff * Gas hot water * Good layout of grounds * Good Facilities * Reasonable sized cabins
