Reviews for Aanola Villas
Review 1:The bay and beach is cleaned daily but sometimes plastic bottles or bags get washed up . Not icky stuff though. Swam there most days.
Review 2:The apartment is basic but really spacious and in a great setting. It has a large tropical garden with terrace which overlooks Tapion Bay. The lounge is nicely airconditioned, the Wi-Fi is fine but best of all is the friendly staff who couldn't be more helpful and accommodating. It is a very quiet upmarket neighbourhood. This may sound strange as a place to visit but the nearby hospital has a nice little café at the rear with stunning views and they do food and lovely coffee! Often we were the only ones there. They have a shuttle bus into town which is very cheap too. A taxi is about 10 USD. There's a great ramshackle bar/restaurant about 5-10mins walk too. The bay is two mins walk. We recommend a bus from town to Choc Beach for a waterside restaurant and a classic Caribbean setting. Our second visit here.
Review 3:The appartments are far from the city. Local buses available at 5min walk but not very convenients. Taxi fares to town exxpensive. Not very suitable if you don't have a car. Only one restaurant in the vicinity, not much choice in the city either.
Review 4:Nice little beach at 5 min walk.
Review 5:No complaints
Review 6:Extremely amazing staff, helpful and friendly...made me feel at home. Great views from the apartment, 10 min walk to town...10 min walk to the Sandals La Toc beaches. Thanks Des...One love.
Review 7:It was dirty, no air conditioning, sporadic hot water, and no dining of any sort within walking distance. They need to make it clear that it is necessary to take food and drink. The staff was friendly when I was able to speak with them, but they are not good at returning calls. My toilet broke, and when I called to have it repaired no one called me back. It remained that way for the duration of my stay. I don't usually post negative reviews, but I don't want anyone else to have the same disappointments and surprises I had. The two worst things was the kack of air conditioning and how dirty the place was. They have a great structure. They just need to maintain it properly.
Review 8:I was pleased with the size of my apartment.
Review 9:Aanola Villas is worth the money. Everybody was warm and friendly even strangers had time to answer questions and give directions to their favorite beaches. We got hopelessly lost of course but we had a great time and did some exploring around the island. Not as much as I would've liked but we'll be back! Tks guys!
Review 10:St Lucia was amazing! The people we met were all very friendly. Aanola Villas was excellent and exactly what we needed; fantastic value for the money. I found our apartment to be roomy and clean and comfortable for me and three kids. I slept inside. I slept outside. The kids played outside. I was never a bit concerned. We ate our first guavas. It tastes kinda like a strawberry but bigger and yellow with kinda pink insides. I never actually saw one growing on a tree before. Need to thank Desma for making our stay so enjoyable and thanks for that great guava jam recipe. Will try as soon as I track down some fresh guava.
Review 11:Needs some remodelling ( especially exterior and shower)
Review 12:Good value
Review 13:No bad experiences
Review 14:Large lounge area. Location.
Review 15:Value from money
Review 16:Great value for money. Spacious apartment with washer. Staff is very accommodating. Will stay longer next time.
Review 17:The place was incredibly hard to find --- nobody on the street even knew the place existed and there was no sign. There is absolutely NOTHING around the hotel so you would need to rent a car to get any food or see anything. The wifi didn't work even after they tried to fix it and the stove needed matches but they didn't provide the matches until I asked. There was no phone. The screens had holes in them. We were directed to go to the hospital down the street for food and wifi. Not very helpful staff. I would definitely NOT recommend to stay here.
Review 18:The place was fairly clean and roomy
