Review 1：Great accommodation in a great location. We used it as a base to explore Cape Palliser and the seal colony but it is also perfect for visiting the wineries in the area.
Review 2：This motel was a pleasant surprise with hotel-style facilities in a garden setting. With the units set apart from each other, it was quiet and peaceful and the host friendly.
Review 3：Great welcome on arrival, great location near to the town and vineyards. Recommended dinner at the historic hotel in town which was excellent. Accommodation was very comfortable, clean and lots of space to spread out in the unit to chill.

Review 10：The bed wasn't a double bed it was two singles pushed together so it lumped in the middle. The tap in the bathroom made a rather loud noise when turned on. When the jets on the spa bath were turned on, black specs came out and it don't look very clean.

Review 13：Good location. We had a lovely little outside deck with table and chairs overlooking the garden. At the end of the day, it was a great place to have nibbles and drink some great regional wine we purchased in the town.
Review 14：The room needed airing before we arrived. There wasn't a fresh smell, it was stuffy, unfortunately we went out straight away so couldn't air it out ourselves.

Review 19：Really nice facility. We were in one of the 2 bedroom units. We had our kids with us (ages 7 & 13) and it was perfect for us. Would also be great for 2 couples. Even though it was winter, they turned on the underfloor heating before we arrived and the gas fireplace worked a treat to keep the whole house heated. We loved sitting out on the front porch and was pleasantly surprised to see such nice kitchen facilities and dishes, etc. even serving plates/cheese plates!
Review 20：The single bed was made up in the lounge area when the suite was booked for two. (Would have been better left as an alternative setee.) While the crockery and cutlery appeared to cater for three occupants that was not universal. (2 knives and 2 large plates as I recall.) Further from town that I expected.

Review 24：Very noisy neighbours (I was asleep when the people in the unit best door arrived back). They were like thundering elephants and turned a TV on that made a high pitched non stop sound (took them about 10 minutes before they turned that off). Next morning - they were equally as loud leaving. No fault of motel owners though. Not sure soundproofing could have prevented that much noise. Just rude people

Review 26：Pretty much everything, the unit was spacious and clean. We check in earlier, which was great. We got a little fresh milk bottle (given when we checked in) so we can have a cuppa on arrival, nice way to welcome the customers.

The studio appartment was very comfortable and clean and the staff were great. It was a very warm couple of days and the upstairs bedroom was very warm so it was very welcome to have the fan in the bedroom. Thanks for a great stay.

Review 39：What a find this turned out to be for us. We had one of the executive suites and were very impressed. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and cosy, it opened out onto a little patio and the lawn, nice place to sit in the late afternoon sun for a glass of wine. Short drive to town. Manageress was very helpful and obliging. Would definitely use again. Great coffee and blueberry muffins from the Café next to Poppies gift shop.

Review 43：Ants are not cute but they werent that much of a big deal either, we expected their would be some not because of the motel but because Martinborough is a beautiful place who wouldnt want to set up home there:).
Review 44：We loved our room it was perfect for our little whanau:). We loved the bed, my husband and I can't remember the last time we've actually had a whole bed to ourselves. Our 18mth slept really well in her portable cot, she had a bit of a cough so that was a relief for us:). We adored the heated flooring and the venue was close to where my singing gig was:). The owner was very accommodating, friendly and helpful, we will definitely be back:).

Very clean, spacious for two people, usual amenties we like such as coffee plunger, hairdryer. It was very quiet and private with the trees etc. Would definitly stay again.
