Reviews for Quest Mandurah

Review 1:the outside and internal stairs we have a daughter with limited mobility so it was a bit tough on her

Review 2:the large living area and toilet on the lower floor the pool and spar

Review 3:The people above us were very noisy banging doors but not a huge issue

Review 4:The Pool! The lady in reception (6th jan) was so lovely and very helpful couldn't fault her. Thank you

Review 5:I just think for the amount of money we had to pay that the up keep of the apartments could be better. Our bedroom blinds were broken. The kettle was broken. The pressure in the shower was not good. The walls all need a new paint.

Review 6:Staff were friendly place looked comfortable great location close to most tourist attractions

Review 7:High, step up and into bath/shower combo. Extremely tight parking spaces which will test those who drive 4x4 vehicles. Quite steep in apartment steps to get up to first floor rooms. No provision of inhouse restaurant for breakfast.

Review 8:Very spacious and clean apartment and walking distance to city centre. Security within an electric gated system.

Review 9:The accomodation is getting a bit tired the air con wasn't working the towel holder kept falling off the wall also the toilet was broken down stairs

Review 10:The location is great we have stayed there lots of times

Review 11:Tight Car parking bays with 2 cars next to each other - difficult getting Suitcases etc through entry to apartment.

Review 12:Spaciousness of the One bedroom apartment! Abundance of storage/cupboards. Huge Bed!

Review 13:The restaurant was closed on a Monday night no notification about it. I had no car so was a little put out by having to leave the hotel in hunt for food

Review 14:It's location was very central

Review 15:Need a front doorstop so we can get our bags in without the door closing. Its a little thing, but our first impression of the unit was difficult. Would also like a choice of units when booking online... may have paid a bit more for a garden/pool view

Review 16:Heaps of room, comfy bed and great faccilities.

Review 17:The parking is extremely tight and we felt the price was high in comparison to the quality. We understand prices may have been elevated due to the event.

Review 18:The location was perfect for the Mandurah 70.3 which was the reason for our visit. The facilities were good and met our needs.

Review 19:Stayed at Quest as i was participating in 70.3 Ironman. Great location with pool/spa overlooking canals and easy walk to event and Mandurah restaurants/shops. Late checkout was provided to coincide with end of race. Secure gated residence.

Review 20:price-understand it was a peak weekend, but was quite pricey for what we got. Room 64 - man the couch (fold out bed one) was shocking, sunk right down when we sat in

Review 21:location, facilities, reception friendly, had everything, nice balconies, equipped kitchen, parking

Review 22:The bed was two single beds pushed together not very comfortable.

Review 23:Reception staff were wonderful and very helpful. They offered advice on taxis etc as we had a wedding to attend.

Review 24:As we had children, there was no way of securing them in the rooms ie. did not have a key to lock the ground floor sliding door to the courtyard. No security latch on the front door to stop children from opening and entering the car park area.(room 35A & 35B)

Review 25:We did enjoy our stay, although very short.

Review 26:The parking on site for larger vehicles is very ordinary. I had to keep checking to see what bay's were available as my vehicle wouldn't fit into the bay allocated to our room. We then had restricted access to our room as someone was using our bay which may it difficult when taking our luggage from the room to the vehicle.

Review 27:Convenient location on the canals. Early check-in was happily arranged as we had a very early start. Small kitchen in the Studio was adequate for light breakfast prep.

Review 28:Faulty hotel swipe key, rather tired/outdated room décor & furniture. This room needs repaint. Bathroom light switch gave small electric zap (reported this). Overpriced for what it was.

Review 29:The location, very friendly staff, the pool was wonderful.

Review 30:Room over deodorised to the point where it made our eyes burn and thoat sting. Very, very bad. If it was to disguise previous occupant smoking it didn't work as there were cigarette burns on furniture.

Review 31:The position and convenience.

Review 32:The pictures on booking.com are far too promising. If you book a studio or a one bedroom apartment, you have no chance of getting a room with a canal view, they're all overlooking the small garden, as we were told. Imagine more of a motel than a waterfront hotel, with parking under your bedroom or right in front of your studio door. Rooms are not new, but clean. We found it too expensive compared to other options in Mandurah.

Review 33:None of the apartments actually over look the estuary. The cleaners weretrying to get into our room to clean before we had even left

Review 34:Good security.

Review 35:Parking out back is VERY tight

Review 36:Location, just out enough to no noise but still close. CLEANLINESS!!!! It's a little dated but it has everything you could possibly need

Review 37:The pillows were lumpy and cheap, the toilet was faulty and the apartment is definately due for refurbishment. Bathroom was very average.

Review 38:The outdoor spa and size of the apartment were both excellent. Great staff, free wifi and value for money.

Review 39:The self catering area was cramped and poorly laid out. The room 44B needed updating, painting and bathroom refurbishment

Review 40:It was a well located property with lovely garden and good staff.

Review 41:Wifi non existing,(was explained well what was happening with wifi) but was still disappointing as couldn't load emails and daughter couldn't watch movies on tablet coz no Internet

Review 42:Saturday check in i was permitted 2 hours early and receptionist was fantastic Sunday check out was allowed 2 hours later, receptionist was sensational

Review 43:The receptionist on the Sat night and at check out Sun morning was excellent. she was extremely courteous and helpful and accommodating. to our needs after a glitch in booking. Unit was very clean and ha all you could need in it.

Review 44:Everything. Was a cold evening when my cousin and I arrived. Heating did not work and there was only one blanket on the bed (no spare). Parking very tight. Way too expensive for what was supplied.

Review 45:Nothing

Review 46:The alarm clock we found at some crazy hour of the morning was set to go off? You could hear every movement upstairs and the car parks were extremely small

Review 47:The price was reasonable

Review 48:For the expense I would have expected at least a small carton of milk supplied with the tea bags etc. very inconvenient having to walk to IGA for milk. Why supply tea and coffee but no milk?

Review 49:I didn't like the fact that I wasn't a were that I would have to pay a security bond of $150.00 to stay only one night ,because i had master card instead credit C. I wouldn't mind if I had get the money back in my account as sooner I checked out , but five days have past and still pending

Review 50:I liked everything . My son and I stayed over night we had dinner around the pool it was so quieter and wonderful . Loved it.

Review 51:Zero

Review 52:From the cleanliness to the comfort could not be faulted which made our stay very relaxing, and to look out at the lovely garden so nice, secure parking is a huge bonus as well. I have recommended Quest to family & friends.

Review 53:The inconsiderate other guests who take up all the parking that are not assigned to them and park so close to the entrance you can only just make it into the room. The rude guest who smoke near our room which then came into our room. The Blood stained doona not very pleasant...

Review 54:Close to shops and inlet

Review 55:The room was shabby, needed a paint, and really !!! two single beds tied together with a plastic shopping bag to make a queen?? For the price a shower over the bath, not my idea of Resort accomodation.

Review 56:Parking was very tight and not big enough for two cars, units could of been cleaner and there were stains on the curtains. Wouldn't stay there again

Review 57:Good location, easy walking distance to twon

Review 58:The parking areas are a bit too small to easily manouvre in and out.

Review 59:Walking distance of the town centre which is along a grassed area next to an inlet. There is an IGA open till 9 pm within 200 metres. Nice garden area next to the rooms. Was only there one night so can't say too much more.

Review 60:The seat on one of the dining chairs wasn't attached to the actualframe of the chair (both screws were missing) and almost caused anaccident when one of our group sat on it. The radio had a frayed wireand we couldn't get it to work. The 2 single beds were the mostnarrow we had ever encountered and not really suitable for adults tosleep on. There were also a couple of large cobwebs in two corners ofthe living area and another in the bathroom. We thought that thereception area and the gym closed too early and was a bit inconvenient.

Review 61:Absolutely loved the size of the apartment and the included amenitiesand the view from the rear deck was amazing! My friends and I couldn't have chosen a better place to stay and will definitely recommend it to family and friends.

Review 62:We drive a Prado so we were really lucky it wasn't booked out otherwise we would of had to park in the car park out the front because the car spaces outside the room were tiny

Review 63:The room was perfect for what we wanted and well priced.

Review 64:Our room was at front of property rooms at back of property would of been quieter and had a view of water.

Review 65:Very good value for money. Large clean room. Free WiFi. Location.

Review 66:there are signs everywhere saying non smoking property, however, everyone ignores this and smokes. as a non smoker this is not good. unfortunately permanent residents above me were loud on 2 of my 4 nights stay and woke me up 3am

Review 67:2 bedroom apartment fabulous and well equipped. spa great. location fantastic

Review 68:The exhaust fan in the bathroom was horrendous, it was very noisy and made using the bathroom very unpleasant. It was not possible to slip to the bathroom quietly during the night.

Review 69:Over all the facilities were lovely!

Review 70:One little issue that was handle well by the night manager, was the car space sizes. Can't fit two big size cars in there. Still enjoyed it so it wasn't like it ruined anything.

Review 71:I really liked the location of of where Quest Resort is. The ladies at the reception desk both night and day were extremely nice - very good customer service. The studio room was perfect for my partner and I, we enjoyed it a lot that we're going to book another room there again!

Review 72:Parking was very small even though we only had an IX35. People parked next to us didn't park very well, no consideration for other guests.

Review 73:Very convenient for our needs

Review 74:Cleanliness of almost everything from items that may have just been missed recently (Glasses, cutting board, Shower curtain, outside of oven) to stuff that appears endemic (cobwebs and cieling fan in bathroom). My partner also discovered a large hair in the pillow (not hers). Plastic undersheet on the bed was both hard and noisy - meaning any movement in the night is likely to wake others - it felt like I was back to toilet training of many years ago.

Review 75:The Apartment is nice and spacious. Staff were professional. Free Wifi Great location - near the city.

Review 76:banging doors from neighbours. Washing machine and drying machine right outside our room going well into the night saturday night and woke us up early Sunday morning. And the adjoining room (the ones with all the washing) had the cheek to place a do not disturb sign on their entrance door.

Review 77:Plenty of jetty space, close proximity to restaurants, cafes by water or walking distance. Friendly helpfull reception staff location location location

Review 78:The pillows were terrible and the car bays are way too small, the cars are in the bays beside other cars it is impossible to squeeze out the door without hitting the car beside. We had to park hard up againts 1 side and squeeze out the other.

Review 79:Nice hotel & gardens, good location!

Review 80:On one night (5th hottest day on record in Perth), bedrooms on the top floor were still quiet hot all night.

Review 81:Location is centrally located from the heart of Mandurah but far enough away that you can have a quiet peaceful time.

Review 82:Access to the upper apartment a bit tight

Review 83:Views out the window. Proximity to town. Groceries next door. Bright and airy livingroom and balcony. Tasteful decor and quality bedding.

Review 84:Even though a large complex it was very quiet and I particularly liked the security setup all the facilities are maintained to a high standard being able to walk to the jetty and enjoy a wine and nibbles a bonus

Review 85:We were in a studio apartment (actually a 2 bedroom, 2 story apartment with the downstairs bedroom determined to be a "Studio"). Upstairs occupant could be heard urinating throughout the night, doing "skipping" with a rope from 5 AM, and walking around with very loud ladies shoes on after we banged on the ceiling to have her stop her skipping program!! Complained to management (when they finally arrived at their office at 9.15 am), but did not satisfy our stay. Very expensive, overpriced and totally poor accommodation.

Review 86:The secure nature of the complex.

Review 87:Reception staff were lovely and welcoming. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The Quest is just a short stroll from the great shops and cafés that Mandurah has to offer. (Rosie's Cafe is superb!)

Review 88:Would be beneficial to have the microwave on a shelf above the sink area so you could have some space to put the kettle and have a cup of coffee.

Review 89:Walking distance to Mandurah foreshore. Very clean and excellent service. Lovely gardens and very relaxing atmosphere. Would definitely stay again.

Review 90:That the adverts mentioned wi-fi and foxtel we weren't able to receive the wi-fi and the foxtel only had a limited amount of channels

Review 91:The special you had on at the time was great value and quite relaxing

Review 92:Little bit noisy, we had upstairs apartment could hear a lot going on down stairs and in drive way when we were sleeping

Review 93:Very close to everything and parking right out side the room.

Review 94:Parking was constricted especially for SUVs. A cafe would be an excellent addition to this resort.

Review 95:security, Safety, very well mannered attendants, Had a wonderful four days of relaxing and taking life easy as one is supposed to at our age. thank you all very much

Review 96:Parking area was too small for large car, access to apartment is shared and was noisy when other guest entering and leaving and felt confined, no light on in access way unsafe.

Review 97:Location was great, bed reasonably comfortable.

Review 98:Room wasn't ready but otherwise everything was good

Review 99:Clean apartment close to shops and restaurants. Friendly staff. Secure parking. Lovely view of waterways

Review 100:Two beds pushed together to make a double bed

Review 101:Security of premises Walking distance to shops and restaurants Close to water Overall value for money compared to Bali holiday

Review 102:Stayed one night with a group of friends, location eas perfect, staff was polite and professional, rooms were so comfortable i couldnt fault it would go back again

Review 103:Our room was next door to the gym and our room had a noise like an exhaust fan was on 24/7.. We were going to change rooms but we didn't bother asking but it was really annoying. We couldn't sleep. The bed wasn't too comfy either.

Review 104:I like the location and the spacious bathroom and room.

Review 105:The internet didn't work The bathroom locked itself from the inside so we couldn't get in They already took the payment before we got there but when I booked it says we pay on check in

Review 106:Very spacious Has all the things you need It was clean Beds comfy

Review 107:The car spaces are a little tight, and would love to have a proper double bed as you get lost in between :) :):) but other than that it was great !!!

Review 108:I loved the location, room was nice and spacious. and a lovely quiet atmosphere which is always a bonus :)

Review 109:However, those who stayed in the three bedroom unit in an adjacent block found the unit to be tired, the 2nd & 3rd bedrooms lacked a wardrobe or even hooks on the door/walls or drawers in which to store clothes, and minimal space to place open suitcases to 'live out of'. The kitchen was 'galley' style, and for six people in the unit was a bit cramped. The bathroom fan did not always turn off when the light was turned off, and produced a loud vibrating noise that penetrated through the ceiling space to the bedrooms. The shared bathroom for bedrooms 2 & 3 did not have a separate toilet, so with 4 adults sharing the bathroom, it required some consideration to ensure no-one would need the toilet whilst another was in the shower.

Review 110:We were travelling with 6 other couples. Those who stayed in the two bedroom units had beautiful modern units with spacious lounge and kitchen areas. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The complex security was excellent. The units were in a nice area, but across the other side of the bridge from the main cafe area of Mandurah, a bit of a walk, especially in the dark.

Review 111:Door was so stuck, took a good 5mins to open. Stipulated non smoking rooms NOT non smoking complex online. Went to get into bed, was tangled in the lower sheet also as it wasn't made properly. Also a guide to the TV would be nice

Review 112:Water pressure- awesome, clean apartment, once I doing the bin

Review 113:We were next to entry gates and they were bit boiset otherwise all good

Review 114:The facilities were excellent catering for all our needs 4 adults the outdoors was lovely indoors was really roomy beds comfy surrounds quiet

Review 115:That I could not smoke on the balcony Which is shame It would not have bothered anyone so unfortunately I would probably go elsewhere next time we live I perth and love it done here and will be coming down a lot

Review 116:- Slow wifi internet. They provide a ADSL in the unit but it seemed others also using internet from that modem which was supposed to be only for that unit! - The price is a little bit high in compare to what you get.

Review 117:Location, Cleanliness, Friendly staff, kitchen appliances, quite, close to amenities.

Review 118:Reception closed early ie before 6pm the evening we were not given clean towels. I requested clean towels the following morning and had to make another contact before they were eventually delivered after 10.30am. Not good enough.

Review 119:The location and the layout of the rooms, some very pleasant staff.

Review 120:Staff fantastic. Anything we needed was not a problem. eg towels, tea, coffee, laundry powder. Four young children were happily tolerated playing in the common garden. Room had great cooking utensils - everything we needed was available, new and clean. Staff were professional and caring when our 6 year old cut his leg on the top of a garden light. Chocolates were given to the kids to help console them when their brother had to go to hospital. A complimentary night topped it off as our holiday was cut short with the hospital visit. Those sort of gestures really make a holiday a positive, enjoyable experience so you tend not to dwell on the unfortunate accident as much. Hopefully our son continues to keep well and not get sick as a result of the cut - thus far we are very happy with everything.

Review 121:Someone pinched my parking spot

Review 122:The Price really good for Mandurah, the pool and the view from the pool. Everything else was fine.

Review 123:Great place apartments with water front are by far the best , versatile facilities

Review 124:Apartment was tiny. Sheets smelt like they hadn't been changed. Bed so uncomfortable it felt like it was 20 years old. Basically no kitchen!

Review 125:Pool area could be bigger

Review 126:Rooms are great

Review 127:location

Review 128:Loved where it was situated and the rooms were great

Review 129:We liked the size of the room.....and all the facilities in the kitchen area. Extra T.V. in bedroom.

Review 130:loved the facilities and closeness to the town centre.

Review 131:I didn't know that the cut of line for sign in on a public Holiday was 3pm and I arrived at 4.15pm

Review 132:Nice and quiet even for 1 night
