Review 1：It's mass tourism. Restaurants, the beach and pool area where often crowded with people. One day we wanted to do a snorkeling trip and we were told, that at this day about 300 people will join this tour, so we decided to do it another day, where only 100! people took part.

Review 2：Overall we had a great stay. Rooms are clean and nice and the beach is pretty fine, too. Staff is kind and well organised, except the reception wich was not very friendly and helpful. Food is good, but nothing special.

Review 6：Staff were very unfriendly, quality of food was poor, long wait fordinner. Eating times too strict, half the menu items were unavailableand variety was slim. Beach is nice but the floor is full of coral andsharp rocks on which we cut our feet on. Ended up leaving early, willnot return.

Review 9：After payment, I realised that the resort is having adult & child rate. We actially paid extra of RM400++ (approx RM500) for our 2 kids. Although Booking.com assisted to negotiate with the resort, they refused to adjust. Also, the resort refused to issue receipt to Booking.com customers. So, it is advisable to book directly with the resort.

Review 10：We really enjoyed the full board package (3D2N). The package covers ferry, breakfast, lunch, dinner and 3 snorkeling trips. You can even snorkel at Tg Tengah (walking distance from resort) for corals and fishes including baby sharks. My kids enjoyed the swimming pool as well. The sand at the beach is white and smooth.

Review 11：Hopeless non-existent wifi. They say there is wifi at the lobby but it didn´t work during the days we were there. they have PC´s with reasonable speed in the internet room at MYR10 per hour

Review 17：The beach is very clean and beautiful as advertised, and the room is definitely comfortable, but the best part is the friendliness of the staffs, not to mention they are extremely helpful, informational and professional. I had great fun with snorkeling and scuba diving!

We did have one of the new rooms which were modern and clean but we wanted I be nearer the beach so moved to the older ones. Although we were happy with them. Review 36：For good swimmers or water sports fans, it can be frustrating as the swimming area is limited with many boats approaching the shore and no windsurfing is possible; no surfing as there are no waves. The arrival and check-in together with groups Must be improved as it is messy and too long. Buffet breakfast quality was average but meals were ok quality/price wise with reasonable prices. Finding a long chair under sunshade can be impossible if you did not "book" it early in the morning as many guests just leave their towels on the chairs and go out for the day, returning mid afternoon to get their space! Not due to this hotel, but other hotels along the beach board/disembark clients 3-4 times a day using barges coming to the beach just 100m away which is quite noisy and polluting the water. Let's hope that hotels on the island will tackle pollution in the right way.

Review 37：Arriving by boat is a pleasant experience by itself. Great location on Redang island with a pristine sea, white and fine sand on a long and wide beach. Having a drink at night at the bar, looking far over the sea is so relaxing. About 500m on the left side of the beach lies a small cove (at the start of the other beach) where water is very clear until >10m deep, with nice corals and fish. Snorkeling there is wonderful. Staff is kind and trying to help as much as possible although sometimes at loss over trifle requests. The pool is also very nice, with a water slide for children and a jaccuzzi. Our pool facing room was large enough for 4 adults (with 2 single beds) and clean. Many activities for those who want to discover the island and the sea although not "challenging" ones. Organized groups participate to these activities which leaves the resort rather quiet during the day (and of course, the activities can be quite crowded). Unfortunately, I did not try scuba diving. There is also a small but practical convenience store on site.

Review 42：This is not my first time to Redang but first time to this resort, frankly said this is the most unsatisfied one. The resort is too much commercialize. The ground staff is unfriendly. I can't feel relax. If you want to lay back and enjoy a good island holiday (not to enjoy the facilities etc), never ever choose this resort!

Review 43：The resort is booked en masse by Chinese tour groups. Very noisy and certainly not a romantic resort or relaxing at all. If you do not choose to have the buffet dinner, there is very little choice. The a la carte reataurant is badly lit and feels like a railway station. The dishes which came out were not acceptable. Spagghetti al olio should not be lukewarm nor have chunks of pepper in it. It should be made with garlic, olive oil and chilli. My rice came out stone cold which is not advisable under food safety guidelines. There is no option to be able to eat near the beach. Also the seafood BBQ was cancelled three times due to rain. Understandable, only it wasn't raining on any of those occassions. The breakfast buffet was plentiful although all warming plates were not active so the food rapidly went cold. Also the cappuchino which cost RM6 was not fresh and probably came from a packet with sugar added. The dive centre never had anybody attending on the three occassions we went over. So we took diving trips with the resort next door. When we booked and paid RM300 for a private boat for Merang jetty and driver to the airport it arrived half an hour late. It then proceeded to drop other people at different resorts it took 2hrs (we were told 45min). The car wasn't waiting for us and a car was booked whilst we waited at the jetty. A small compact car arrived and we had to have our baggage on our laps. Overall not enjoyable.

Review 45：1. Bad room facilities (ancient TV with horrible TV channels / no toiletries provided apart from basic shower gel and shampoo). 2. Bad hotel service (no room service / not much choice for food - only buffet and limited ala-carte restaurant / slow service - it took more than an hour to prepare a plate of pizza when there's clearly no other customers at the bar). 3. Very limited beach chairs available and no cushion with the chairs (the cushion has to be rented). 4. Overly expensive and not worth the money paid considering the bad service and quality - you pay only for the location & beach.

Review 53：The resort is more of a mass tourist kind, where everything is organized for the mass; from transportation to eating time and leisure activities. No wifi in the rooms. Only one chair in the room.

Review 54：We did not take the all inclusive package so we where free to do what we want, but we sneaked in the organized boat trip for free. The beach is almost empty at any time and the location is perfect. Staff is friendly and helpful.
