Reviews for Leena Guesthouse
Review 1:booked on internet for 2 nights at a cost of 1014 Thai bht but the price should have been 840 thai bht.why was it more expensive to book on website than just turning up?paid for 2 nights on arrival(1014 bht) but couldn't get my business completed in time so asked for another 2 nights which I paid for on the spot(840 bht) On checking out found hat my 2nd payment had not been registered in the book got a demand to pay again.
Review 2:I've stayed here about 6 times in the past and was reasonably happy with everything but very disappointed with the attitude of the staff this time.too many people doing the same job and not communicating with each other.
Review 3:Wfi reception could have been better but I think this is a problem in this area rather than specific to this guest house.
Review 4:Close to my area of business.
Review 5:This was a totally grotty, run down room ~10sq m, air con didn't work, TV didn't work, no offer to change rooms. The woman owner and staff would have to be the worst I have encountered anywhere - very rude and unhelpful.
Review 6:Have no idea why but the price of my room (the best what they have with A/C and hot shower) at booking.com was 15 USD (and I had a Genius deal) but if you come directly to the reception it will be only 11 USD. Not fair.
Review 7:Good WiFi. Was surprised. Good and helpful girl on reception.
Review 8:They charged us more because we used Booking and they were really impolite and rude.
Review 9:I have NEVER written a negative comment and I have been around a lot of places. I will just say that the personnel was rude, the rooms uncomfortable and wifi sucked. Do not book via booking.com, if you just show up to the place you can have rooms for 50 000 kips but you will pay 130 000 kips for the same room via booking. Don't be worried about accommodations, there are tons of guesthouses not advertised on Internet.
Review 10:We had no water overnight and in the morning.
Review 11:This hotel is in a good location and just fine for a a night or two when travelling through Laos but I wouldn't want to stay any longer.
Review 12:The meals were expensive compared to Thailand and the breakfast was small and bland. The hot water shower was barely lukewarm. The staff were already stripping my bed and cleaning the room even before I'd checked out, which was around 9am!
Review 13:The two meals I had for dinner were tasty and the location was quiet. The air conditioning was actually cool for a change
Review 14:Have only one working light and it was in toilet. Not very clean, was on floor a bottle cap, dust and soap package on toilet floor. Have few blackouts. Very poor wi-fi.
Review 15:Near to city center.
Review 16:Room was a bit dark because the window overlooked a corridor. But not really important as I didn't come to spend all the time in the room!
Review 17:Clean, good location, helpful staff, nice and reasonably priced food. Free wifi though signal can go up and down a bit. Very close to a beautiful temple and a busy street with lots of shops and cafe. Good value at less than 500 baht/night.
Review 18:Quiet location within walking distance of the river front.
Review 19:Mosquitoes and healthy food options scarcr
Review 20:Laundry and driver and good english
Review 21:Only WiFi in central area.
Review 22:Air conditioner worked well, clean room, quiet.
Review 23:Super slow wifi So many mosquitos
Review 24:The location... The architectural designs
Review 25:very noisey in the daytime and quite a few dogs in the lane up to the guest house
Review 26:haveing a drink in the bar at night and chatting with other guests
Review 27:(1) very pushy for paying room rent (2) extremely reluctant to provide any advice or help for tours
Review 28:nothing really
Review 29:Friendly staff but limited english No fridge TV and Aircon remote not working
Review 30:Good hard bed Very clean Nice restaurant Quiet
Review 31:The bed was very hard and there are bars on the window but this seems tobe normal in Laos.
Review 32:It is the nicest guesthouse in town, the family are friendly and it has anice atmosphere, the freshly cooked food is good too.
Review 33:Costs $15 USD online, and only $6 if you want up with no reservation, tons of mosquitoes in the room, bad reception on tv
Review 34:Comfy bed, free water in room, close to bus station
Review 35:Bit of a walk to nearest shops and restaurants but not too bad as Suvannakhet only a small place. Quite a number of dogs wandering around and barking though!!
Review 36:Reasonably quiet and facilities ok for a short stay.
Review 37:-Internet is not really reliable, but I think that's a common problem in Laos.
Review 38:-Nice staff. -Tasty food at restaurant. -Tranquil location.
