Reviews for Hotel Amada
Review 1:Good, basic hotel. The owner is very friendly and considerate. The rooms are comfortable, although lacking the amenities of a more expensive hotel, such as a kettle or fridge. They did have comfortable beds, a good ac heater and satisfactory shower. The hotel is close to the highway but at least for rooms facing the sea is quiet (couldn't comment on the rooms facing the other way). It is a short drive to Byblos.
Review 2:Not clean, 2 spiders as soon as we got in. It was raining and the window (Closed) was leaking and a puddle of water filled the room. A/C worked well but made a lot of noise! We opened the hot water for 10 minutes before it started to heat.
Review 3:The location was good
Review 4:1. Very far from tourist attractions. 2. No eatery nearby. 3. It is advisable to have a car if you want to stay here.
Review 5:1. Friendly operator. 2. Nearby beach was nice. 3. Quiet place.
Review 6:The place is very basic and old-fashioned, run by a couple I think. There was no soap, and 1 iron hanger. Even the towels were hand-towel sizes, not a proper towel size for a shower. The shower was a shower head added in bathroom - almost on top of the toilet. When I asked the reception about the soap, they said they don't provide that because people take the soap with them! That made me slightly concerned about the hygiene levels.
Review 7:The male owner at the reception was very helpful and hospitable a la Libanaise. He drove to find me lost near the highway and showed the way to the hotel. It was also nice to have spacious rooms and have a sea view. Located in a quiet place
Review 8:Fadi (the host) is one of the kindest people I've met in my life. He was very helpful with everything. The hotel is in an ideal location off the highway in Jbeil which makes it very easy to go in and out of town. The room I was staying in had gorgeous view of the sea and the banana trees right below, perfect to see the sunset from the balcony. Everything in the room was working fine.
Review 9:The hotel had no fridge, no wifi, no equipment or kitchen utensils (not even glasses). One of rooms had no air conditioning. In addition to all of that, there's no bathtub, we showered over the toilet and the whole bathroom was wet after that.
Review 10:The view and the silence
Review 11:too far from byblos
Review 12:the people/staff
Review 13:Fadi is a great, helpful host. His Mother's hotel is good also.
