Review 1：We were couple and single friend in 2 br... lighting and seating in living room were not great, although we were too tired to want to stay up and chat after out long excursion days!; hard pillows and lack of dresser space in each bedroom -- these were negatives, minor but owners should note ...
Review 2：Although we said the location was good, it was perfect for us to explore montalcini to montepulciano (all told, we visited 5 towns, driving to 4 and spending a day walking to/back another in course of 3-1/2 days). Simone and the gentleman who is on-site with her (sorry, we did not get his name!) were wonderful although they speak little English and we speak even less ltalian. They are not on site overnight, which was NOT a problem for us, but others might want to know to plan around. Ground are beautiful, ditto building, and hosts are gracious and accommodating! We had to adjust rez dates and had no problem!

Review 5：The biggest disappointment was the position/orientation of our three-bedroom apartment, behind the restaurant and looking out on to a two-metre patch of gravel enclosed by a high fence. There was a garden but even there the views were mostly blocked by trees and the restaurant, and the noise from the kitchen extractor vent killed the tranquility. Also, the owners advertised a flat-screen tv in every room but ours was a huge, heavy set on top of a cabinet and home-made decoder stand, presenting a serious danger to children; I ended up putting it on the floor. Language barrier was a big problem too.

Review 7：Booked at short notice and we took a chance. We should never have had any concerns. The welcome from Fulvia our host was generous and warm. The apatment was delightful, spotless and comfortable. The beds were great and we able to do some self catering as well. Could have stayed here for weeks.

Review 11：Basic facilities, no toaster or microwave, if one needed them . Walls not sound insulated, could hear other people in the converted property, an old granary. We felt it was expensive for what we got. A meal in the restaurant was a third more than in town.
