Review 1：-The parking in front of the hotel could be repaved and improved

Review 2：Beautiful view towards the Danube River and Serbia from the south side of Continental hotel. -Friendly and courteous personal. -Right near the new National Theater building, short waking distance to the History Museum with 2000 year Roman Bridge and other relics and nearby the city center. -Good departure point for driving trips on roads along the Danube River, and its scenic effluents, or Danube river boat trips with breathtaking mountain views.

Review 5：The room in which we stayed was "ancient", it was not cleaned for a long time ( there were spider "big ones" crawling through the sheets and curtains) and the bath tub was rusty and the paint peeled off. Very old hotel with nothing renewed from when it was built.

Review 12：First of all, the hotel is very old and one can see this. The rooms are not very clean. At the first view it seems ok, but if you look closely, there is hair left in the bathroom and at the window it is very dirty, so you can't sit yourself there. There is a mini-bar in the room (empty), but we were afraid to plug it in, because the plug connector looked very bad and we were afraid it would catch fire. Our friends tried to plug it in in their room and the refrigerator went quite hot - not very smart for a refrigerator kept in a wooden cupboard.In the bathroom there is a sign where is says that the towels would only be changed if you leave them on the floor. We didn't want ours to be changed, so we didn't leave them on the floor, but unfortunately they were still changed every day, so the "save the environment" policy doesn't work for this hotel.The water in the shower runs very slowly - it seems it is a problem in other rooms as well.On Booking.com the hotel has 4 stars. It seems that in reality the hotel has some 3-star-rooms and some 4-star-rooms. We received a 3-star-room, which looks more like a 2-star. Also, not all the rooms have air conditioner, and we didn't have one. In summer it is very hot in the rooms; during the day you can't stay in the room because of this and during the night, with the window open, you sweat continuously.Not all the staff-people are friendly. We wanted to pay the night before we left (for personal reasons) and the lady said we should try later because now she has new customers (although I was there some minutes before the new customers).We didn't have breakfast included in the price, but we saw how it looks like. It is very poor, not at all a 4-star-hotel-breakfast, not even a 3-star! They also have a coffee vending machine, where a coffee costs 5 RON - very expensive for a machine-coffee!All in all, quite disappointed.

Review 13：The hotel is very central, but the city in itself is very small, so it is not really that important. The first lady we met at the reception was very nice to us and regretted she couldn't give us a room with AC. She also told us a bit about the city.

Review 14：Location is ok! We usually do transit twice per year through Severin and we have tried also some other locations around, this one is quite modest, but for us the only reliable solution in this town. The price vs quality is ok. Staff was nice and polite. Parking secured in front of the hotel. We did not tried the restaurant, but we recommend the " Trattoria ..." which is about two minutes far ( by car), on the main boulevard in Severin. Also "Taverna Sarbului " , can be an option.

Review 19：Needs a massive renivation. When through the hallways and in the room i felt like 25 years ago when going into holiday with my parents. The bathrooms the most need total replacement.

Review 21：In this hotel you feel like in a museum...everything remind me of the comunist era...the windows, elevator, hairdryer, furniture, paints from the room etc. The staff it's quite nice but they are in a wrong place...the hotel doesn't help them at all. The newest think in this hotel it's the...wireless. it works great by the way. The heating was working all day long and night, even during the day were 23 celsius. During the night we open air condition to cool the room as we can.t close the heating...also we keept the window open...sad to find this in 2015.

Review 23：Old fashioned interior design of the '80-es. A little bit ran down. It was not posible to regulate the room temperature. The room was overheated but the window could not be hold open due to the close railways noise. I had bad luck with noisy neighbours till 2 am. Extra charge for hot chocolate at breakfast.

Review 34：The hotel is from the socialist period. Renovated, but it needs urgently an overhaul. The second time I stayed at this hotel, and this time I was disappointed. I had room 607 which is located next to some sort of compressor. Compressor turns on every 30 minutes and it is impossible to fall asleep. The room was unbearable smell (I think it was in the kitchen). In this hotel I will not be staying.

Our original room had a brokenshower head, toilet that ran water on the floor, electric outlet thatdid not work. We stayed in the second room for two nights because it was toomuch trouble to move again. Many of the furnishings in the hotel wereworn and old. This hotel is not a true 3 Star hotel as advertised onBooking.com.

Review 90：Room decorated in communist "style", very used furniture,very used carpets, very ugly curtains, very ugly tiles and sanitaryobjects, awful smell in the room, at 7:30 some workers began to drilland the noise did not let the guests sleep. In the breakfast area thedust resulted from the works was covering the food. At 9:45 no waterwas provided in the bathroom (you can imagine the result...) It is aprove of disrespect to the guest doing renovation works and keeping thehotel open!
