Reviews for Dar Fatima

Review 1:Tepid hot water. These House designs mean if tennants have children who are active then all get to share in the festivities till they retire. Cant do much about this but it without a stronger policy. It detracted from what could have been a more memorable stay.

Review 2:Well maintained. Very civilized breakfast

Review 3:Room was airless and at night the whole building too hot-probably as the roof has been closed off; no air conditioning even if we had wanted to use it. Breakfast was poor-cold coffee and when i requested fresh, the pot was returned with one cups worth of luke warm coffee! No WI-FI despite it being advertised as inclusive throughout the property.

Review 4:Beautiful building with Moroccan styles mixed with European colours; roof terrace perfect for sunset & star gazing

Review 5:I believe was a pump that used to switch on/off in the middle of the night. Not that noise and will last then 1 min

Review 6:The location and the staff. Those guys are superb.

Review 7:It was a bit cold downstairs on the first night but the staff lit the open fire on subsequent nights making the riad warm & welcoming.

Review 8:The Riad was in a good location & the staff friendly & helpful. It helps with communication if you have some grasp of French.

Review 9:My second stay at this hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Nicely furnished room with comfy beds. Staff very helpful. My hotel of choice for Taroudant

Review 10:Nothing....

Review 11:Quiet location, well signposted off main street, making it easy to find. Manager was always welcoming and keen that you have a good visit to Taroudannt.

Review 12:The fact that I hadn't revised my schoolgirl French verbs and tenses.

Review 13:This is a beautiful dar with artistic Moroccan decor, colourful tiles, lights, banquettes, cushions, wall hangings and rugs. The double bed was very comfy and the room, with windows to the interior courtyard, was very quiet (you could not hear the early call to prayer).Breakfast was an individual buffet style tray with mint tea, coffee, bread, jam, olives, cheese and fruit. Certainly enough to keep you going for the day. Short walk to everything in town. Good restaurant L'Agence at end of alleyway.Helpful manager Ibrahim, speaks fluent French.

Review 14:None

Review 15:Very nice stay in the middle of the Taroudant. Especially the host Youssef was a nice guy, who helped us having a great time!

Review 16:Excellent owner/host in providing services including an early morning breakfast. Beautiful accommodations tucked in a quiet medina street.

Review 17:Quite expensive for the facilities when compared to other Riads in Morocco.

Review 18:poor breakfast, didn`t care of bedroom within tree days,

Review 19:very near to the center, quiet, friendly reception, nice terasse on roof,

Review 20:cold rooms and shower coffee is more like coloured water dark inside

Review 21:The owner is an excellent host, balcony is nice clean'great service

Review 22:Staff very nice and helpfull

Review 23:Really friendly helpful staff, lovely atmosphere. Good breakfast.

Review 24:dodgy wifi connection dark breakfast room

Review 25:Ibrahim mattrass good shower

Review 26:exellent riad, friendly personnel, the room are clean.

Review 27:Excellent host

Review 28:Great staff, most friendly, most comfortable.

Review 29:Although it's situated in the medina, it is still a walk to restaurants in the evening. Wifi only works in downstairs area. Manager not always present so was initially put in wrong room by woman working there and, when paying the bill, had to go out to find change as she had no access to money.

Review 30:Manager very friendly and welcoming. Good breakfast.

Review 31:Great service, the owner went out of his way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Given also its good location (near the Souq and one of the city's top restaurants), this was one of our best stays in Morocco money for value.

Review 32:the house echoed,, we booked two rooms and we had 4 children between us - all under 12. Each time my 2 & 4 yr old's ran, played or even closed a door,,- ,, the whole house echoed and the landlord didn't seem to amused, I tried my best to stop my kids being so loud but it was hard. So for this reason,, it's not child friendly, it has a lot of steps, so not suitable for disabled or anybody who has difficulty climbing lots of steps. The landlord only speaks French and Arabic, we got by with google translation and other guests that spoke a little english to translate for us.

Review 33:lovely renovated house, in the middle of a village. Felt as if we had gone back in time. lovely views from the roof top. saw morrocon people go about their daily lives. The house is decorated beautifully,, like a show-house, and has lovely ornaments, books, lamps, decorative pieces all over the house however, I was scared that the kids might break something. There is a few of mosques nearby and at the time of prayer they all start the 'call to prayer', so for about 2 minutes, you can hear the "Adhaan", from different directions.

Review 34:Speaking better French would be helpful. Also, a little hard to find, especially in chaotic oneway streets of the walled city.

Review 35:Centrally located in old town. Quiet haven with friendly staff and first rate facilities.

Review 36:Unfortunately I had issues with the internet connection but others had no problem.

Review 37:Wonderful welcoming host who was very helpful even with our language barrier! Room was nice and spacious, very clean. Bathroom came with towels and soaps. Breakfast was tasty and kept us going.

Review 38:Owner was amazing, he went out of his way to help us. The decor was great and breakfast was one of the best we had in Morocco. Great location, across the road from a really deliscious restaurant and 5 minutes walk to the souk. Parking is free and very close by. Rooms were simple and nice. Great for a couple. Very quite and a nice place to get some rest.

Review 39:Compared to other places i stayed in Taroudant, Dar Fatima was very quiet so sleeping at night was perfect, and the services I received were brilliant, and the manager is very humble. In addition, the hotel is very beautiful, and very cosy, i even fall asleep on the sofa one night instead of sleeping in my hotel. I recommend this hotel especially as an individual and as a couple, either is excellent. I will come again in the future, thank you..

Review 40:Very nicely decorated riad style interior with cosy seating area on each floor. Friendly owner, but communication will be in French. Close to bus station and main squares, but in quiet street. Nice rooftop terrace.

Review 41:Difficult to find. No private parking. No wifi in the upper rooms. Terrible water pressure. I would not stay here again.

Review 42:Nearby to main public parking at the end of town.

Review 43:Nothing, everything was good, we had a great holiday.

Review 44:Very attractive guesthouse (wife went 'WOW!' when we first walked in). Spotlessly clean. Friendly, helpful proprietors. Large room with air con (which we did not need in February). Good central location but in a quiet back street. Very good breakfast included. Attractive decor and furnishings. Roof patio. Proprietor arranged transport back to airport for a good price and a very good trip into the mountains.

Review 45:The host was wonderful welcoming. The room was nice, clean and spacious. The breakfast was very tasty.

Review 46:Friendly owner. Excellent roof terrace. Cool building in centre which is handy for markets. Good wifi (not on terrace). Good value for money.

Review 47:Design, staff, roof terrace, good leisure places, calm, free and maybe safe parking close to the riad, on the street.

Review 48:Wifi only in ground floor communal area

Review 49:Beautiful interior décor and furnishings

Review 50:Service is wonderful. The Hotel is very nice. The breakfast is marvelous. You can use the roof top for sun bathing. Parking is free.
